This children's picturebook is about two little bears that are all alone, scared and cold in the snow with much of their fur missing. Luckily, Tilly (a fox) comes along and takes them to a 'temporary home' that will give the two little bears the comfort and support they need. After a while, the two little bears are welcomed into their 'forever home' by two other friendly bears. This is a superb story that explains in an important, gentle and age-appropriate way (5 years and up) about the process of adoption. It is very evident that the author has been through the adoption process as the story is told in an honest but reassuring way. Lastly, as explained by the author using story to unfold and understand the past is crucial for young children's understanding.
