Kelly After what happened, I walked away from everything I loved and vowed never to come back.
Mason I fucked up years ago and trusted a friend over the woman I loved and have regretted it to this day.
He was her high school boyfriend. She was his one that got away. His best friend sexually assaulted her. He didn't know that. So, when he said the words that ultimately destroy any future that they might have had, they both thought that was the end.
After ten years of avoidance and the death of her mother brings her back to the small town of Delway, North Carolina. A flat tire and a dead cellphone leads her to the door of the "Storm Reapers MC Clubhouse." Behind this door, she'll come face-to-face with her past and the man that once had her heart. She's not the same girl he knew before she left. She'll prove that by carving her path to vengeance. Can they pick up where they ended so many years ago and have the future they were once hoping to have? Or will outside forces from their past tear them apart before they have the chance to find out? A full-length novel featuring an MFM Menage Scene. Warning: Sexual Assualt, Violence, and Strong language.
Christina Chavis was born and raised in North Carolina. She spent most of her days getting lost in the pages of books. Growing up she had a passion for writing. With the encouragement from friends and family she put pen to paper and wrote her first book which ended up being an MC Dark Romance. Which was no surprise to anyone.
Motorcycle Clubs Romances have been her go-to books for years but she likes to read a little of everything. Reading has always been a way for her to relax. She has been writing down little outlines for potential books for years. Deciding to use those outlines is how A Storm Reaper's MC series was born. After finishing the series she hopes to branch out to other genres.
I think books with ménage scenes should be labelled as there are people who don’t like stuff like that! Annoying h and a annoying manwhore also ruined the book for me. I can’t believe she just fell into his arms after he didn’t believe her when she told she was raped! Disgusting

I want to start by saying I love MC books. They are my favorite genre. I came across this book and noticed this was not only a 1st in the series but also a first time author. I want to say I was pleasantly surprised when I read Mason’s story. Were there a few first time author editing errors? Sure but not enough to take away from the storyline and honestly too few to really mention, but I must in order to give an honest review.
The story was fast paced, action packed and full of emotion. I loved the way the author pulled me into the story, as if I was right there going along for the ride. As for the characters, they were well defined and felt like I knew them. I felt all their anxiety, pain and happiness. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Johnny, Mason’s little boy. This precocious child totally stole my heart.
This is a second chance at love story. A love that never should of been separated. But as often in real life, words and actions are misconstrued and people are lead to believe the worst. Which is totally what happened between Mason and Kelly. What is worse is the deception was by friends wishing to cause harm. The story takes place 10 years down the road when Kelly returns to her small hometown for his mother’s funeral. It’s at this time she runs into Mason. A lot has happened to both of them since that fateful night. They are no longer teenagers. But can past mistakes be undone? Or being it’s a small town, where everyone usually knows everything, does the past come back full force.
Kudo’s Ms. Chavis for a wonderful book 1 and this reader is anxiously awaiting book 2 in the Storm Reapers MC series. I highly recommend Mason’s story and give it 2 Thumbs Up and 5 stars.
Story completely ruined by appalling spelling & grammar mistakes throughout the entire book. Missing letters, words, completely muddled ‘tenses’ with past, present & future all in the same sentence. At times the sentence didn’t even make sense & I had to work out what was trying to be said.
1 poor star - first i had a huge turn off from the very time that i realised what i'm about to say : with all due respect the auther should think about changing her writing style the were almost no actual conversation between any character here let alone the leads it was just narrating things he said that , she did that they done that i didn't see any one speak any thing directly i was just told that things happened , no words exchange in here and this was not good at all . -it was just weird how the FL was so ready to get back to the ML from the very first sec , i'm not surprised that he wanted them back toghether and i'm not sayin she should blame him but after 10 years of not seeing someone and then she just embraced a realtionship were they are more than just a friends , it was too much
Amount of sex 2.5 / 5 How explicit is the sex scenes 2.5 / 5 Story 4.5 / 5 Overall: 4.5 / 5
Mason is the first book in the Storm Reapers MC series written by author Christina Chavis. I absolutely love reading MC romances and have read many series from various authors. I tend to prefer the stories that are a bit darker and have a strong alpha male character. So, when I started reading this story from a new-to-me author, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. And let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised!
This story begins when Mason and Kelly are in their senior year of high school. While she was waiting for Mason at a party, his best friend, Steven, hands her a drink. We’ve all heard stories, and Kelly knew to never accept a drink from someone she didn’t trust. But who would ever think that Mason’s best friend would ever slip something in her drink? Unfortunately, Mason believed the story that Steven told him. So, when Kelly went to explain what happened to her, Mason was not very nice, to say the least.
We then skip forward ten years, and Kelly heads home after hearing that her mother passed away. On the way to the funeral, her car gets a flat tire. So, she walks over to the Storm Reapers MC to ask for help. But, who does she find, Mason, of all people!
Mason is a fast-paced, suspenseful romance, and I truly enjoyed it! If you’re one to prefer sweeter romances, this may not be the book for you. It's a definite for those that like their stories a bit on the gritty/darker side.
Mason (Storm Reapers MC #1) is the first in a series of MC books by talented new author Christina Chavis. Book #1 is the story of Mason, a member of the Storm Reapers Motorcycle Club and his long lost love, Kelly. Kelly and Mason were high school sweethearts who were torn apart by a shocking event involving Kelly that took place at a party one night while both were in high school. The tragedy affected Kelly so deeply that she moved out to San Diego where she stayed for ten years. Were it not for the death of her mother she might never have returned and as fate would have it, while home for the funeral she accidentally runs into her hot-as-hell lost love, Mason.
Unbeknownst to Kelly, Mason, now a patched member of the Storm Reapers, has never stopped loving her and has sworn that if he ever got another chance he would never let her go again. What Mason doesn't know is that Kelly is still harboring feelings for him as well. I was in suspense from the start as I rooted for these two to get their 'happily every after' after so much pain and hurt.
I will say that this story contains a LOT of action that will keep you on the edge of your seat, as well as a LOT of steamy sex scenes. There are also a lot of interesting supporting characters who rounded out the story nicely. I'm hoping we'll get to hear Stryker's story next!! Well done!
Kelly is a survivor. She's endured a lot. Lost her love over it but fate has a way of breaking your car down right where you are supposed to stop.
Mason hadn't forgotten his lost love and still keeps her picture near him. But to find out that your best friend from 10 years ago ruined the life of your love and your own. You can't help but want revenge.
These two have a ghost of the past that needs to be set free and together they prove 10 years hasn't dimmed the light and fire between them.
MC romance with a great supporting cast. A bad guy and another who find out just how wild things can get and action, thrills, twists and two characters who stood up to he** and kicked it's butt. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
Although there seemed to be a struggle in the writing, in the beginning, this author's book had a great plot to it and everything that you would hope to find in a Motorcycle Club story. I'm going to give it a 5-star review even though the book didn't seem to be edited. I think with the right editor this book would be even better. Not enough dialog, in the beginning, but she made up for it after the first few chapters. I was on the fence about reading another book by this author but after finishing the book and getting to the end where she had the prologue for the next book made me change my mind. Just that one part of the next book had me hooked and ready for more.
OMG! This story is good! “Mason” is a fast-paced second chance love story with intense drama, action, trials, tribulations, romance, passion/lust, love, enemies and danger. I fell in love with the main characters Kelly and Mason and have a great desire to murder Izzy and Stephen. This explosive storyline has a depth of emotion that is intriguing with the drama of a thriller. This short story will keep you engaged from start to finish and leave you wishing for more and more.

Basically, this book was action packed & exciting. Although, the misspelling & poor editing were very frustrating. The author went from first person to 3rd often & for me, it was poorly done & took away from the storyline. I think this Author is talented, but needs to sharpen her skills & definitely invest in a better editor. With this being said, I hesitate to read the sequel to this book.
There were quite a few mistakes regarding spelling and sometimes I felt the writer was doing more ‘telling’ of the story than ‘showing’ the story. Overall I loved the storyline and the characters. I also liked the preview of the next book, but it would have been good to give an estimate as to when it might be available to hook the reader into keeping a look out for the next one.
This is a fast-paced second chance romance that also happens to be the first book I’ve read from this author. She has done a really great job with this story and I found it interesting and engaging throughout. I also loved the characters and their dialogue. Looking forward to more in this series and from this author.

A good first book from this author. It did start off a little descriptive of conversations so instead of feeling part of a character I felt a little removed, this soon changed as the author obviously bedded in and you felt part of the conversation. A really good first book, well done! Looking forward to the next one
I enjoyed this storyline but I feel the way it's written needs attention. No real dialogue between the characters, it was hard to understand in some places because of this. Quite a bit of one character saying he said this or she said that. But I did enjoy the storyline, I'd happily re read this if the author rewrites it in the future, once they've expanded their experience.
I totally loved this book it has your alpha male and sassy female. The character were engaging and the plot and storyline moved smoothly. The storyline kept me at the edge of my seat turning page after page. Don’t miss out.

This engaging narrative captivates readers with its intense and thrilling plot. While the story shows great promise, it would benefit from careful proofreading and professional editing to refine its overall quality. Despite minor technical improvements needed, the book remains a compelling and enjoyable read that nearly achieves a perfect rating.
It was a great read filled with emotions and fast paced. I did cry and while reading. I love Mason and Kelly. I hated when Mason choose his friend over Kelly and didn’t let her talk to him. I can’t wait to read what comes next.
A fantastic start to the series and a must-read for all MC fans. This is the first book I have read from this author and I will definitely be looking out for the rest of this series. It is a fast-paced action-packed read that once you get into it you won't want to put it down it is a great read
I really enjoyed reading this MC romance. The story was well written and full of action. The couple had lots of good chemistry. I would recommend this book to others.

It was ok.... but I hated perspective it is written in. I really missed the flow of dialogue between the main characters while they developed a relationship which ended up spoiling it all for me
I loved reading this book, but very disappointed i couldn't find the 2nd the book in the series. Does anyone have any idea other gen address please that may help me. Thank you
This was a hot steamy erotic romance story perfect for a quick afternoon read. A great heart pounding read. The story was very well written with great characters. It drew me in and I had it finished in one sitting. I would highly recommend this read.
The author has clearly never read an actual book because her understanding of dialogue is nonexistent. Couldn’t make it past a couple of chapters. It’s like a seventh grader decided to write a book. Do yourself a favor and skip it!!
This is the first book in this series and it was good. Looking forward to the next book in this series. The characters was likeable and have great chemistry.
I was really excited to read this book. That excitement led to dead. Some of the spelling needs help, and most parts of the book was hard to understand who was talking.
