Great for all Fire tablet users
Just got a new Fire. This is really useful and quick to read. I wish i could find a better way to download Apps that Amazon does not support. This book says it can be done without rooting my device. The method in the book didn't help me find out how to do that or a source for Apps I can download that are not Amazon. I also would like information on how to get rid of that big "suggestions bar" across the top of my home page. It only takes up space an tries to sell things I don't want. Maybe they will add that information soon.

Excellent Intro to Fire HD 8
A well written guide to the Fire HD 8 and all of its capabilities, which are many for such a small computer. It is a handy reference that will be referenced from time to time to refresh my memory of details that disappeared but are needed to effectively use this system.

Great help
I just happen to run across this when getting into my new kindle .it seemed like perfect timing as being raised in the' 50s these weren't round. Helps a lot. Should be included in each new kindle purchase.

Not what you expect
When I first got the Kindle HD 8 after using an Hdx7 for an number of years I realised I was lost and needed a manual. I did not expect this manual to be for some other Fire. I quickly found out that what was being described bore little relationship to the Fire I had bought. It showed a HOME page with a category bar that my HD8 did not have. I have not examined the whole book but enough to be sure I made a mistake in buying this one.

Good and informative for a newbie to Fire. I learned a lot of basics that would have taken me weeks to figure out. Tips on Alexa were great! I've got a new Fire HD 8 (10th).
But many of their tips don't work with my phone (Samsung J36V), my router (NetGear), my Printer (new HP Officejet 3830), my TV (TCL Roku 49") and my pc (Asus). Planning on getting some smart outlets, Echo Dots, and a smart thermostat, hoping I can take more advantage of the technology.

If I could give this POS ZERO stars I would!
There is no index! And very LITTLE information of use for the Fire HD 10Plus in this book. Shame on you for killing 1600 trees for this. Any way to my $2.30 back?

It's great to read if you're new to the Fire tablet world, I personally never own one and I was lazy researching so this help me understand my tablet more.
