Queen Wren is going through some more difficult times being stuck in the bunker with three of her mates and now they have all been kidnapped and are hurdling into disaster in the back of a van but this time they are not in control of their own bodies and the person who is driving they have no idea whom it is but their tattoos give us a good idea of who but not the why. The whom is Hawk the assassin is the one driving and is absolutely reckless with their lives not that their alive their vamps and along with crazy witch Doreen and Zack who is the only human who could actually die. But still they have a lot of adventures going on in this book as well as lots of action and suspense and romance. The characters are great the story line keeps you entertained. I was given an Advanced Readers Copy per the author as a gift without obligation. I am providing an honest review.

WOW!! This just keeps getting better and better. The relationships get deeper with Wren and her harem. Hawk, a hired killer, becomes the fourth member. The sex between these two could start a fire.
The revelation about Marlowe. The twists you never see coming. Amazing read and can't wait for the final book.

Okay, I confess that I'm still looking up terms and learning to navigate in the world of paranormal romance - don't judge me by search history! After the last cliffhanger, I vowed that I would take it slow, read at a nice, leisurely pace, and prepare for the inevitable cliffhanger. Oh, and to wait patiently, between books. Yeah, THAT didn't happen! I tore through this one, like the devil was chasing me! I also didn't send any threatening e-mails to the authors - I totally cancelled those! ( I hope?) Who knew that the fourth book of the Sever The Crown series, by Mysti Parker and Lindsey R. Loucks, would be the most exciting and sexiest book of the series? In "Relentless," Wren has one week to find her fifth and final mate, and to stop the prophesized end of times - NO pressure! Expect drama, angst, mystery, suspense, danger, action, surprises, steam, oh, the steam, and romance. A thrilling read! I received this book as an ARC from Mysti Parker, and I volunteered this review.

ONE AMAZING ROLLERCOASTER!!!
Thrilling! This awesome, dynamic duo drops the bomb, jacks the thrill and blazes the trail, riding roughshod, melding this jewel together fluidly. Uncovering the plans with all the chaos, mayhem and shenanigans, propelling this little gem to life beautifully. Mastering the ups and downs, weaving a cocoon so intricately and tight, drawing you deeper into this tangled web until nothing else exists. Dealing with the drama, intrigue, turmoil, danger and suspense swirls, thrusting this baby into the eye of the storm, bursting it into a tailspin with stunning results. The chemistry builds as each layer is peeled back exposing an undeniable bond and amplifying affections, launching this gem to a whole new level. The personalities are well matched and blended with just enough flaws for diversity. The characters and scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow magnificently. Remarkable job guys, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.

When these books end, they set you up to hate Wren's next mate in the next book. You dive in mentally prepared to not like the guy, but then you end up loving him! Seriously, her parents knew what they were doing when they chose her mates. Relentless really showcased how passionate of a character that Wren is. Helping others who she barely knew. Even though she also did this in previous books, her actions now were a bit riskier and cost her much more, which made them mean more to the people she did them for. This book also threw some new twists and betrayals at us as well as bumped up the steam as Hawk and Wren got to know each other more. I could barely put this down, and after the ending, I'm desperate to see what Wren does about her 5th mate.

4th book, 4th mate. Meet Hawks, and his story is less dark in terms of the past, but it is very mysterious. He does what he does because he has to. And his sibling bond suffers for it. But because Hawk enters the stage, a lot of pieces to Wren's story and future fall into place.
Marlow, now settled, is such a smart sweetie, Charles and his humour is just what we need, and Ashe and his...well, not sure I would call ashe the heart after what happened. He also nearly left people to die in a bomb attack. Sooooo, anyway, he's still sweet, and after his loss, you just want to hug him.
Zac is not looking as innocent as he did. I trust him, but something is not right. He is hiding something. And his story does not slot in like you think it will, but wow, I didn't see it coming.
Smut yes, kick arse yes, twist! Oh my!

Relentless continues the story of the Sever the Crown series by Mysti Parker and Lindsey Loucks. It is an amazing, energetic, dynamic, well-written tale. Wren and her mates must battle Ravana, Doreen and other unsavory elements, all the while running against time to avoid an end-of-the-world prophecy. The storyline is fast-paced, filled with vampires, magic, danger, intrigue and romance. The characters are unique, each amazing in their own right. I can't wait to see how book 5 wraps up this incredible series!

Another fast paced adventure for Wren and co. The story picks up immediately from the cliffhanger of the last book. Wren quickly gets acquainted with her latest acquisition and things get rather spicy, in ways she hasn’t experienced previously. There’s just so much happens in such a short time, until you get to the last page and once more yell ”No...it can’t stop there.” One more book to go. Can’t wait!

OMG this installment was just as good if not better then the others! When meets Hawks mate #4 & a killer! Lots of drama, love, twists & turns you don’t see coming, some sex & great relationships with her mates. I honestly couldn’t put this one down & almost screamed when it ended cuz I wanted to know more!! Book 5 can’t come fast enough!!! If you haven’t read this series you need to now!!

This story just gets better and better. The romance is hot and the build up to the severing of the crown is enticingly close. Wren and her mates are so close to the crown, but there are some pretty big hurdles for them to jump. There's kidnappings; hot sex;crazy witches; hot sex; betrayals and oh, some hot sex!
I can't wait for the next book - I'd say final, but I think some of these characters may have their own stories wanting to be told!

O...M...G !!! What an ending! I hope they are sending the next book really soon! Little more witch influence than vampire. We get a real opportunity to see Hawke in action and to understand how he ticks. There are some family tie surprises waiting for you. Lots of action, mystery and plenty of steamy stuff. Grabbed my interest to the point that I think I held my breath! There are a lot of characters to keep track of now.

Book four of five in a series in which the books do not stand on their own. So, it starts in the middle of the story and ends on a cliffhanger. It's OK, but the whole series has grown stale, each book just seems to be more of the same. It's not bad, it's just not adding anything particularly fresh with each new installment.

Woah this plot is just getting better with each book.
I am loving the way this going and the way the one ended just makes me itch to read the next one.
I really thought Wren would get her revenge in this one but maybe next time.

Another action-packed fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants tale with Wren and her guys. However, this installment is hot, hot. Hot. Hawke may not be Wren's first mate but that doesn't stop him from introducing Wren to many firsts. Hawke's personality oscillates between Ashe's gentle heart (still my fav harem member) and Charles' cavalier attitude. From Browen's poem, we know he's a killer but he won me over anyway with the relationships he has with his household. He's like a Cadbury egg: a hard shell with a marshmallow inside. Wren's confidence starts to build as she prepares for her final showdown with her aunt.

The plot twists and loops kept me guessing and the pages turning almost all night. The authors cleverly break the patterns set in the first three books to freshen the story. Overall this engrossing installment is full of surprises that fans of Wren will not want to miss.

Wren seeks her kidnapper’s help to fulfil her deal with the Angel and to secure a feather of his, which may be useful in winning the war... Will she gain her kidnapper’s trust??? Will she be successful in not creating chaos and mayhem??? Will she help the kidnapper’s grandpa??? What is destined for her??? One should read to know... The author has made the readers to run through the pages consecutively in the series with thrill, suspense and cliffhangers...

Is Zac dead?

I still love Wren and Hawk may be my favorite harem member. I didn't expect that betrayal from Zac but u didn't like him from the beginning. The scene of Wren and Hawk's 'dinner date' made me uncomfortable. I didn't like Hawk touching another woman, even if Wren was the there too. That's mostly why I took a star off. I wish there had been a warning for that. But I'm interested to see what happens next and if Zac is really dead.

Sever the crown series has just gotten even better! Wow. I loved this book so much. Wren is so awesome and the men and just perfect. I love how the story has progressed throughout the series and book 4 gives us even more to the story. Book 5 can't come fast enough! Vampire book with the potential to being the best of its kind!

The countdown begins....

This book continues on the vein of nonstop action. The writing remains superb but there was little character growth to be found. I will say that the fast pace is becoming a little much as it jumps from one disaster to another. I did like finally learning a little more about Zac. I’ll finish out the series but hope the conclusion tones down some.

This was a good read. Fast-Burn Reverse Harem with some steamy scenes. I feel like there were times the story went by slower than others but overall a good read. I wish we figured out all her mates sooner than later. This is the book that I skipped over parts of to get to the final book because my patience grew really thin.

Relentless, the fourth book of the Sever the Crown series, is a book I picked up through Kindle Unlimited. Relentless had some good plot progression, and the relationships between characters tightened up. Such a great storyline, with plenty of twists to keep the reader wondering what's next.

This one is my favorite so far because I think Hawk is fun even for an assassin and will seriously change Wren. I wonder what she will do about her fifth mate? Now it's really getting good! I am super excited for the end and can't wait!
