Appreciate the general aim of this volume - to forward the historical mission of a gay communism (that is pro-trans, pro-sex worker) by documenting these experiences of marginalised working-class people from the bottom up for these purposes. However, the issue didn’t really feel like it came together as a whole and the quality of the content was pretty divergent. In some cases the political tone was quite American - in a way that can come across as unhelpful.

Nonetheless still some very good bits in it. M.E. O’Brien’s piece was the stand-our article for me, if you were to read anything from this, and thoroughly enjoyed the Hocquenghem extract at the end.
