Aya's finally connected with Bucho in both heart and body! Their lovey-dovey life together has finally started ... or so she thought! Bucho's nephew suddenly shows up?! He even said he's going to stay a while ... He's a little cheeky, but she just can't hate him. Who would've guessed, he's now going after Aya?!
This was definitely an improvement from the first volume. There was a lot more character development and I think that there was a lot more exploration of why Aya behaves the way that she behaves. There was dialogue between Aya and Bucho that help solidify their relationship for me before in a way that I didn't get in the first volume. A lot didn't necessarily happen in this volume, but that's okay because it sets the stage for future volumes. The steamy scenes were interesting because of certain character dynamics, but I left out of this volume feeling more secure about this series than I did before.
I get so annoyed by heroines who cry and act afraid during intimate moments involving kissing or sex. I thought that female stereotype in manga had died, but I guess not.
If only they didn’t go with the stereotype of the ditzy girl that cries all the times and can’t handle intimacy. Who the heck just falls asleep in moments like that?!
This volume was better... we actually got *some* character development... but it’s so short (~110 pages), so we still don’t know much about the characters. They say ILY at the end (bc ofc we can’t have sex without that, right? 🙄), but I’m still wondering why the boss even likes the MC...?
I did appreciate that they gave us some insight into why the MC’s marriage perhaps didn’t happen. It’s a real condition in some women that when they’re too tense the vaginal walls contract and make sex difficult/impossible... it could have been a nice metaphor for the two of the opening up (literally) to one another, but ofc that didn’t really happen...
The sex isn’t even that great... I may stop here. Think I’ve already given this series more than it deserves.

This was a cute and easy read - it'll take you an hour or so if you read it slowly so it works well as a nice little reading break. It is a little smutty to be forewarned.
Nothing too different from other romance manga out there so I'm not sure it was worth buying - but then I am an idiot.
The story does end nicely here so if you want you can leave off the series here. I’ve also read vol 3 - help me - and I can say that this volume would have serve as a perfectly satisfactory ending to the series.
Volume 2 is better than volume 1, but it’s still meh. We learn more about our heroine and her wedding fiasco. The manga tries to establish itself as a serious series, but fails due to the artwork. For whatever reason, the artist made really strange choices concerning the main character’s looks, and panels focus too much on her underwear. In my opinion, the series is just not very tasteful, and the empathetic male lead can’t make up for that.
Apparently discovering manga on KU is going to have me going through books like crazy as I had just reviewed volume 1 not that long ago. Anyways, I did think this volume was pretty cute. I feel like parts of it were a bit fast paced, but I guess I am also used to dark, enemies to lovers romance novels that usually do take a bit longer to get to some of these things. I am def going to continue on with the next volume, tho!
This series is so freaking cute! We had some consent problems ish. HOWEVER they were discussed, made sense and it was never taken too far which I really appreciate. I’m loving the developing relationship between the main two characters and I look forward to the next volume 😊
Loving this consensual and story where the woman is into it and even initiates stuff! Story is still a little light but enjoyable. I like the hints of her being his pet kitten still. I wouldn't mind more of that.
I take back what I said in the review of the first book! They TALKED and it's gotten so sweet! It's still pretty predictable but who cares it's fun and cute.
The dubious consent got even more dubious in this volume. Reading reviews and seeing this is a trope in manga to have the girl behave like this. Honestly not sure how I feel about some of it.
This vol had me laughing at some points. It's cute at times, funny at other points and heated before you know it lol. I really enjoyed this vol as well.
