I really enjoyed the series. Each book had lots of action and I was drawn to the characters, especially Snap, Crackle, and Pop, Alvie, and Iggy. I've always been interested in UFOs and extraterrestrials, so I appreciated the authors notes at the end of each book. However, the last book, S.A.V.E, needs to be sent back to the editor. The first three books had a species of aliens called Draco. In book four, they were called Drago. Also, in the first books, Norah was a character and the spelling of her name in book four was Nora. There were also several errors making sentences difficult to read. The errors didn't take away from the story line, but they were a little annoying. Otherwise I would have given the series five stars.
Loved all the characters. I could't put it down. Great series. My husband tried to get me to read them sooner. I didn't think I'd be into the subject matter, but boy was I wrong.
This series is beyond words. Very well written and researched. I loved it. Beyond that, the subject material certainly was an eye opener to the mysteries beyond our little world and the horrors that narrow-minded people bestow upon others. The human race,a genetic experiment makes sense, the clash of evil versus the inherent good most of us truly have. Humanity has to grow up before we reach out to the stars for sure. Not until our own divisive nature can turn into inclusion and acceptance of that which we see as culturally different. Well done, Ms. Brady. Very well done. Now off to read more of your stories, although I always grieve the loss of characters and their lives and want more....perhaps a new threat to bring them back to us, please?
I have never been so glad to be done with a series before. Where to begin? Penny and her mother have gone the way of Leslie. They just disappeared. Draco became Drago so yeah not happy with that little detail. No big reveals, no big announcement to the world. Because you just know people are stupid and can't handle a 3 foot alien.
I do not for one second believe that people would panic but that is the whole premise of the whole series. Even though only one man was ever the problem. Also let's face it, if Svente can take a few aliens without batting an eye, why wouldn't the rest of the world?
These 5 books have been so enjoyable. Not only their development and idiosyncrasies but the whole series is so complete. From the moon to all over the US. Antarctica and Norway . Fascinating. Theories explored ,explained and facts given. Worth it and now there is NO waiting. You can read all 5 books at once.
I am so sorry to see the end of the A.L.I.V.E. Series. I have read all 14 books in the Belial series and loved these as well. I couldn’t put the books down. I felt like I was experiencing the same insights as the character’s and became involved with the underlying factors of their lives. Enjoyable and captivating.
Each book in this series draws me deeper in. It’s written so well you can easily picture yourself as a part of the story. The aliens …well…you just want to adopt one of the cute ones and jump right in the fight to stop the bad ones, don’t even get me started on the government . Ugh. This series pulls you in and doesn’t let go, absolutely loved it.
The A,L,I,V,E Series all 4 books, What a fun and a great twist and turns story, I spent time reading and my wife wanted to know when I was going to do my yard work, I asked her not to bother me till I’m done. Reading. So off to the yard I go. I hope you give it a read.
This probably the best series of stories I have read in the last 10 years since retirement. I have read over 1300 books and I have enjoyed this series more than any. Thank you very much! GMZ
OMG I loved this series. It was so fascinating to read about the alien conspiracies and then you have this amazing story line and characters. R.D. Brady is truly a master at what she does
I really enjoyed this trilogy. The characters are endearing, the plot is well developed and the subject matter mixes just the right amount of science and fantasy to remain intriguing. By far my favorite RD Brady series yet.
This was a great series with a great ending. That being said, it could keep expanding!! There’s so many more stores that can be told. Just a thought. And a wish ;)
Really enjoyed the series. The characters were well written and the pace of the story was good! Always something unexpected on the next page! If you enjoy sci-fi and mysteries this is the series to read!
Thoroughly enjoyed this series! Characters developed well over the course of each book. The plot was cohesive and the pace is non-stop action with all kinds of good aliens and villains.
This I Has been a great, well written series. It takes all the rumors and conspiracy theories and mixes them together and makes you believe. The characters are layered and the emotions between them are expertly explored.
This was the icing on the cake of this series. More adventures, more edge of your seat scenes and more character development. It drew me in like when I first started reading ScFi 50 years ago.
This is a fantastic series. I recommend it to everyone. RD Brady's words makes the story come alive. I felt as if I was there with Alvie and the others.
On my stars, what a great series. Great characters including Aliens. Great set of people and storyline. I would love to see this series become FOUR. Movies! You will get hooked on the first book..
