What was supposed to be a one night stand turned into three amazing days and then the Omega disappeared.
Violated by the very people who should have protected him, Jeremy is scared, pregnant, and on the run. An Omega alone with no money and no one to help him, hunted by those who want to take his baby for their own purposes.
A bounty hunter by trade, Kade is a loner, an Alpha who long ago decided that the rigorous social structure of a clan were not for him. Then he accepted a job, hunting down a missing pregnant Omega in the hills of Pennsylvania. It wasn't until he received a picture of the Omega in question, that he suddenly realized he might have a personal tie to the case.
Jeremy
My jaw dropped as I stared at the vision before me, my fingers itching to touch the shaggy auburn hair. My jacket dropped forgotten to the floor as I took one step toward him, stopping when I saw an odd glittering in his amber eyes.
“Kade?” I nearly choked on his name, my brain fritzing as it tried to reconcile how the sexiest Alpha I’d ever met, the star of every dirty fantasy that had sustained me through the long, horny months and flash heats of my pregnancy with only my hand for company ended up lying in front of me. “Are you..what are you doing here?”
“What am I doing here?” Kade’s voice was harsher than I remembered as he mocked me. “What do you think I’m doing here, Jeremy?” he asked, a slight snarl in his tone as his eyes dropped to my round tummy. “You have something that belongs to me.”
Another enjoyable Kian Rhodes book which is in the same universe with Omega Chronicles books. As always, light, fluffy, erotic, fated mates and Mpreg! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Already looking forward to next book in the series! 😉
At first I liked this story. It reminded me of the early titles in another series by the author, which I enjoyed a lot. I was glad to have read a few of the earlier books since there were several cameos and mentions of those MCs in this book.
In spite of a promising start, disappointment soon set in. The romantic arc completed too early, around the 40% mark. Not much plot beside eating, sleeping and steamy scenes so for the most part I was bored.
I’m guessing by not finishing the Omega Auction Chronicles there are characters I am supposed to know back story on but that didn’t detract from the story.
It isn’t fated mated insta love but it is definitely insta love. What makes this worse is that the expression of love comes about 24 hours after the reunion. The first time the MC’s meet was an app hook up to get through 3 days of heat.
Yes, the story ended up being sweet but plot holes & obviously inserted melodrama just detracted from the over all storyline.
Not a bad read if you’ve got about an hour & don’t want to think about anything.
The author decided to do a big ass time jump of 5 freaking months at a crucial moment of the MC’s relationship (right at the beginning of it) and then proceeded to have them met again and start calling each others “baby” and “Sir” and being all lovey-dovey. Since I am missing the proper beginning of a relationship, I don’t feel the love here. I just feel the characters jumped straight into cold water without swimsuits on.
The sex scenes were boring, short and felt very 2008 fanfic like. I didn’t even get a tingle from them.
PS: I thought the baby was going to be Kade but turns out it wasn’t even his baby. Wth. In any other occasion, that wouldn’t have bothered me but that is NOT what the blurb presented.

While some of the later books in the Omega Auction Chronicles lacked the flare of the first half-dozen, this one made me feel a bit nostalgic. It had all of the heat, spice, flare and talent of the first few books, as well as a fresh new plotline.
However, some of the issues with the series STILL remain. There needs to be more editing, the formatting has improved but still has issues, there was still highlighted text in the book, and mislabelling of characters. And there are still too many characters with similar names, which is I think the whole reason there are mislabelling issues in the first place.
I liked it. It did have some parts where I felt it stagnated a bit, and I really hate fade to black scenes, but overall I liked the book. It did have a warm temp, but I would rate it about 2-3 flames out of five.
I enjoyed Kade and Jem. This is definitely a very light read in Omegaverse, compared to what I normally read and for a M/M mpreg book I was happily surprised.
So I missed the part somewhere when it turned to love. It went from having to find him, finding him and being mad at him to straight I love him. Which I’m ok with insta love I just need to know the how we got there part. Did fated mates have a play here? It was never talked about. Other than that good book. Smexy was nice and the side characters are cool.
A nice little story that breaks the mould a bit, it's not love at first sight but a rescue story that evolves in to more. It was easy to read, likable characters, fun moments, somewhat rushed ending. The drama wasn't as big as I thought at the start.
The Plot in a Nutshell: A tough alpha bounty hunter discovers and cares for his pregnant omega. Together, they go on the run from the omega's family.
The sweet, caring, and protective alpha, does an amazing job of feeding the undernourished omega. It’s like: sleep, eat, shower, eat, take a nap, eat, rest, eat, get a rubdown, eat (you get the idea). Do NOT read while dieting, bc the food descriptions are truly tempting!
The Bad: ✘ The author's 'Prep' and STD message. This is a paranormal story for Pete's sake! 🙄
✘ The subplot involving the omega's family. It was so minor, that it didn't even come into play until the very end. It was solely added to create a bit of drama.
🤗 The Good: The alpha and omega's relationship, which includes some humor.
This isn't deep by any means. Only read if you're wanting a light & fluffy story with low-steam sex scenes.
After reading the entire omega auction chronicles (three intertwined series by Kian Rhodes) I followed it with this story. I loved the three series and all the characters in them, Kade, one of the main characters in this story made an appearance in that series and some of the characters also appeared in this story. I'm hoping this series will be a spin off of that because it has the same feel as them. The story was well told with a bit of action , ups and downs and some humor. We got to see more of the Boxenwolf Brigade which I enjoyed because they are a scary but interesting group. Can't wait for the next one, hope we see more of the same characters. If you haven't read these books I highly recommend them. Very entertaining.
I really enjoyed reading Alpha's Treasure. Jeremy is on the run and going into his heat. He needs an alpha. He's used the hook up apps and just needs one last hookup to end his heat on so back to the app he goes. Kade is just what Jeremy needs and more.
This book is full of emotion. I could feel how scared Jeremy was at times, how strong he was to run from his family, being alone and pregnant. Kane is also a shifter, strong alpha, and he falls quickly for Jeremy and the baby Jeremy is carrying. Sexy, snarky, very well written, and I can't wait to read book two in the Omega Destiny, International Series!
This is Jeremy seeking alphas mate with to help with a heat. Meets Alpha Kade on a app. 3 days of hot sex. Fast forward several months, Jeremy is on the run, Pregnant, and apparently running from evil family members. Kade is the bounty Hunter, who has been hired to find him. Kade finds starving Jeremy, boom he’s in love, everything is lovey-dovey, soft and mushy and cheesy. Bad guys/evil family are a teeny tiny blip of a threat on the road to hea. As much as I love mpreg , not sure I’ll read the next in the series.
Been waiting for another story from Kian Rhodes and this is it! Love Jem and Kade, Jem is a feisty, strong omega and Kade is a sexy, romantic alpha. Between all the shenanigans in the story the author brings in characters from The Omega Auction series and totally decimated my heart! Read this story on my KU and then of course bought it cause it’s from one of my favorite authors! 🥰
This may be book one but characters from the Omega Rescue series make small appearances. You do not need to have read any of those books to enjoy this story as it is a stand alone. This is the story of a couple of hyena shifters that hook up and walk away only to come together months later. There is danger and love and the birth of a little girl. I enjoyed this book so much that up look forward to more on the series.
An entertaining and light read. It was kinda hilarious at the beginning, although nearing the end it turned dramatic and cheesy, but overall it was enjoyable.
A spin-off from Omega Auction series, which you do not have to read before this series of 4 books, although some of the MC's do show up here and it was hot and entertaining so I suggest it (17 books in that series so plan for an epic read-fest). Each book has it's own pair of MC's and HEA with a unique story line. It was exactly what I was in the mood for.
I was concerned I wouldn't love this but I was wrong. I loved the original series and was kinda worried we hadn't segwayed into this enough. It might not have been a seamless transition but I loved this story and cant wait for more in this part of the world.
An enjoyable storyline, a couple of interesting characters whose differences play well off each other, and an ending promising a future HEA work together to make this a good romance.
I'm a big fan of the Omega Chronicles series. This is a spin off. I love Jeremy's independence and Kade's sarcasm. I also like the appearance in the story of a few old friends. This is a good start to a new series.
I forgot how much I love reading Kian Rhodes! I don’t know why I haven’t in a while but that stops now! I love Kade and Jeremy’s story! It’s original, interesting and hot!
I loved this read. It didn't feel forced or me Alpha you Omega I take care caveman crap. The character development was wonderful and I felt like our Omega was given a chance to heal and come into his own. It was a really good read.
O exato nível de alimento ultraprocessado industrializado que é preciso ingerir depois de passar uma semana comendo apenas criações de um chef renomado. Só senti quebra de imersão umas 8 vezes no livro todo, o que é literalmente nada considerando o gênero. Vale a pena.
Taking a side run into light and fluffy with Kian Rhodes. Thought I would try this series as I have not read it. Characters are two dimensional and plot is straight forward for the most part. HEA guaranteed.
