What is this book. Is it even a real book? It’s packed with vague and oversimplified statements on what the authors think is or is not “mental toughness”.
Scattered with unhelpful and incoherent statements such as: “Visualize the worst. Try to imagine your worst thing that could occur such as getting diagnosed with diabetes, or having a heart attack. Try to imagine yourself being diagnosed with Diabetes. It is not possible. Your fear will disappear the more you think of it.” I get what they’re trying to say, but it feels like the author is saying ‘mentally strong people don’t get anxious, so just next time, don’t be anxious”.
Like, what? Was this written by a bot? This feels like a 15 year old boy watched a Tony Robbins seminar and then used AI to write this book. I cannot speak to the second half however, maybe it redeems itself, but I couldn’t stick around to find out. DNF.
