Devin Joubert - is an author, writer, and blogger at lifewritingwanderlust.com. Stories have always been at the center of her heart, believing that stories change lives. She lives with her husband and two cats: Loki & Luna, in North Dakota. When she isn’t writing or playing with her kitties, she loves playing on Instagram.
Author Devin Joubert writes a sweet love story from the depths of her own experience. I enjoyed the cute and creative way Emma decided to correspond with her long-distance boyfriend Callum by sending him pieces of a puzzle that eventually formed a message. Written with heart, Joubert accurately depicts the joys and struggles of long distance love. This story was super relatable to me because my husband and I were also long distance dating for 4 years before we got married. We weren’t across an ocean, but any distance is huge when you’re not together. Short and sweet! Go read it!
This story was so sweet and emotional all wrapped in one. Although I’ve never been in a truly long distance relationship, I could still feel the struggles and awareness that exist. I especially enjoyed reading Devin and Johan’s real-life story at the end and could find many parallels with their story and with Emma and Callum’s story. Thank you for sharing a sweet escape and reassuring that “going the distance” in any relationship is important.
