I started this novel and ended up deleting it before I finished it. The whole story line about his job was to protect her quickly deteriorated with his own personal kink turning her into his private plaything. Yes, she was spoiled rotten but professionally speaking, he was no professional. I have read plenty of these types of books in the past that were done correctly and written well; this one was not. The"kink factor" was the focus of the entire novel. There was little room to get to know what made the characters tick and certainly little room to like the characters. Some novels are basically porn and manage to successfully get away with it because of character development and the story line; this one did not.

This book was super hot, and super chock full of domestic discipline. One thing that I really noticed and it had a huge impact on my reading pleasure, was that the toys played with in this story were new and used solely by the hero for the heroine. I always find myself jarred out of the story when I read about heroes who have “tool kits” and duffel bags of rope/etc. I don’t like envisioning the heroine being flogged with a toy that was used on previous lovers. So this really made the story hot when the hero opened a new toy to use on her. I also love that he was all in from the get go, and didn’t waste time pushing away his feelings. And what a strong heroine. She COULD do it herself, but benefited from having him there too. Great book!

Another outstandingly sexy and erotic spanking romance from Ms. Michaels. Charlotte Winslow is a young Virginian socialite who is suddenly kidnapped by an absolutely nasty man, in dirty mechanic’s garb no less, who claims to be a contractor for the FBI and that he has taken her for her own protection. A story that Charlotte is not buying at all. Not only is Logan a disgusting working class man, but he is also a brute who dares to spank her, and then demand she call him Daddy! The nerve. As the story progresses we find that Logan is indeed an FBI contractor and he does have Charlotte’s best interests at heart, even if it means warming her bottom. As the story progresses so does the intimacy of their relationship and the dependency and trust Charlotte gives over to Logan. I admit I had a hard time warming to Logan, as I shared Charlotte's beliefs that he was an over the top sadist out for self-gratification with or without her consent. I did soften to him somewhat, but not enough to give the story more than 4 stars.

Poorly written

It’s hard to read a book that appears to not have been edited for grammar or continuance. It was hard to follow sometimes because the details seemed to switch up mid sentence. Nonetheless I completed the book. It had it’s entertaining moments but I probably won’t read anything else from this author.

This is unreal, it's stupid.

It seems no one can write a good Story any more.I believe that good reading needs to have a good writer.There is nothing to base the story line on. It feels like she just wanted to get a (book) out there. She could have done so much better! No I believe I would pass this book on for someone else to read.

Wow, i have to admit , this is one very hot book, full of spankings and a red hot bottom on numerous occasions... lol. I just love reading Megans books, she really does have a wonderful way of writing, bringing out the Alphas in the men, dominating and hard. Its wonderful in my opinion.
Charlotte finds herself kidnapped, but been unwilling to listen she decides to be defiant and sassy, which earns her a though spanked bottom, not once but twice and calls him Daddy,before she finally decides to listen to what Logan has to say. Logan is working with the FBI and steps in and takes Charlotte away before the marfia get her. It seems that her mother has aquired a debt with the mob and they want their money back and that meant taking Charlotte.
Logan is a fair man, but he will not put up with Charlottes disobedience, and theirs more than one way to punish Daddies girl when she misbehaves

If you like your stories fast, wicked sizzling & flavored with suspense & danger, this is it! A wonderful & smooth blend of DD/lg, discipline, consequences, caring & action that rockets the reader along (sometimes at warp speed) breathlessly.
Logan is responsible for protecting a bratty, spoiled & somewhat naive rich girl Charlotte from those that want to kill her. Charlotte doesn't understand the true ramifications of what others in her life have generated & that combined with her beauty AND her truly bratty side ignite Logan's lust & DD instincts. INTENSELY. It just so happens to be a bonus for him that he LOVES dishing out intense & creative discipline to the bratty 'Charlie'. And maybe, just maybe, Charlie likes it too . . . .
This one is fun, romantic, sizzling & suspenseful. A wonderful DD/lg read I immensely enjoyed.

In danger sometimes comes love

Charlene was on her way home from another dull date with a rich boy whose family has the right connects according to her mother; who keeps forcing an arranged marriage & give up her career as a reporter & become a trophy wife. Charlene lost in her thoughts steps inside her brownstone & everything goes dark, she comes to in an old garage finding out she being protected from the Mob her mom owes them big. She is also given her first of many lessons on how to properly behave by her protector & hopefully new Daddy Logan who works with the FBI as a contractor. This is rough hot sex & discipline full on Daddy Dom. Not for anyone under 18, has triggers or easily offended.

'Harsh Daddy' by Megan Michaels is a well written and well developed dark story with interesting characters and an engaging plot. The story centers around Charlotte Winslow, who is in danger from the mafia, and Logan Marshall, an FBI agent under cover as a mechanic. Charlotte is put under Logan's protection although she wasn't sure if he really was an agent. Turns out he was but a very unorthodox agent.

Ms. Michaels has written an entertaining book with likable characters and an intriguing take on a DD/lg relationship. The story contains danger, laughs, secrets, trust issues, passion, and plenty of steam. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes some kink with their romance.

Charlotte Ann Winslow is a spoiled, stuck up, brat. I mean, with parents like hers, you understand how she got that way, but geez, she gets kidnapped and she is totally provoking the kidnapper. On the one hand, go girl, but on the other, where is her common sense. Charlotte takes a minute to warm up to, but Logan, he is up for the challenge of taming his ‘Charlie’. Logan is definitely a stern, take charge daddy, but he also is caring and a little vulnerable. The chemistry between Logan and Charlie is explosive! There is a story to go with all this HAWTness, but the focus is definitely on Logan and Charlie’s steamy relationship. 🔥🔥🔥

Good Grief! It does not take long for Charlotte Anne Winslow to earn herself an extremely sore backside. Charlotte is a journalist, raised in an upper class family. Right now, her mother owes a large sum of money to the mafia, causing Logan to kidnap Charlotte in order to keep her safe. But Logan is a blue-collar kind of guy, while Charlotte has been raised as a socialite. In her new status, she is being held in a dirty garage by an extremely dominant “Daddy.” Oh, she certainly does have many lessons to learn, helped along by her creative, stern “Daddy”!!!

This story is deliciously dirty and erotically arousing. And, I have already read it twice.

Charlotte Is Introduced To Hidden Desire

Charlotte is kidnapped by an FBI contract employee to keep her safe after her mother borrows money from the mob. Charlie is very mouthy and rebellious against Logan. He in turns introduces Charlie to age play form of BDSM. She is in for a world of hurt if she can control her mouth. Enjoyed the story, harsh daddy is an apt title, he is a punishing daddy. If you don't like reading about punishmens being administered frequently than don't read. Consider the title. I read this through the KU program.

Absolute drivel

Don't get me wrong. I enjoy a sensual, sexy daddy/submissive story just like anyone else, but this story is an absolute disgrace. To force sex into someone is rape and that right from the beginning this occurs. If that is not bad enough, the author has the main female character secretly wanting and enjoying it.

A total disgrace. This is not a sensual story, but depravity. I have never ever given only one star in a review and I never ever finished the story. I want to be entertsined, not disgusted. Avoid this story is my advice.

Like the other two books in the series ( Rough Daddy & Hard Daddy) , this book has strong BDSM elements. There were some well written scenes that I read many times like the scene when he name called her and she opposed and he agreed and apologized or the scene when he was worried that she might be in a relationship with her coworker. I wish there were more of those scenes because they showed how deeply he cared about her. I liked the book. Definitely recommend it.

Logan am fbi contractor and Charlie a rich opinionated stuck up condescending brat are thrown together in this very unlikely romance
I love daddy romance
I love a bratty little
But Charlie went beyond that and made the story almost unbearable
I liked Logan but I had a really hard time enjoying Charlie and therefore the story became a little tedious to finish

Zero stars if possible.....this was a horrible book. And I say that nicely. There was no plot whatsoever. It was literally sex from page one. It wasn't even anything.....if you want a book that has story behind go to a different book. He wants trust yet he kidnapped her to protect her? How do you expect trust and to call someone daddy that fast? Like no. Just don't read it. Go somewhere else for a good book.

He’s what she needs, but is he what she wants…
Charlotte and Logan explore a daddy dom little girl relationship. He’s been charged with protecting her and the more time they spend together the closer they get.
