Abby is an average high school senior and is looking forward to going off to college in a few months to study art. But when she crashes her car into a river, killing her girlfriend, she experiences a startling change. Her near-death experience causes what she at first believes are PTSD-induced hallucinations of her dead girlfriend, tormenting her already guilt-ridden mind. Soon, though, she realizes that she is not going insane, and is really seeing the dead walking.

Great YA novel of a high-school senior who loses her girlfriend in a car crash and then discovers she can communicate with spirits. Well-written and a page-turner!
