“Time God?” All Andri knew about them was they were time travelers going throughout the galaxy protecting the weak and the innocent. He read the invitation again. They wanted him to try out for the Time God’s apprentice. A farmer’s son, his only aspiration was to take over the family farm when it was his turn. Andri accepted, to bring honor to his family and his planet. But even at the trials, he found there would be those willing to kill, to become, the Apprentice to the Time Gods.
Well, not sure what to say about this one. It's a decent enough story, though it's nothing new, (read several similar books), the story is a bit disjointed, though I'll offer the benefit of the doubt, and claim it's because of the nature of the story, and not the skill of the author. If you like time travel stories, this one may or may not suit you, since the time travel part is not real clear, meaning there's no logical progression from one to the other, they just seem to be tossed in where ever the author needed one to suit the story, instead of being planned out in advance. The story doesn't flow as well as it could, but despite those shortcomings, the story is still readable. I'll likely read more in the series, but mostly to see how it ends more than anything else.
This is the first book I read by Clark Graham and the story was very interesting. It didn’t have as much action as I thought it would but it still has a fair amount. The descriptions are vivid and the writing is developed extremely well. It is definitely a story worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.
A 16 yr old boy from from antiquated village where his people work as farmers. Suddenly Andri is summoned to travel through space to compete against others to become apprentice Time gods. His missions begin. I liked the story but not the abrupt ending, The author is quite good
It's aimed towards a younger audience. The dialogues are very simple and the author dodges most problems involving the time travelling. Having said that, it was a quick and fun read where the protagonist goes back and forth in time, learning about things in the future that he has yet to accomplish in the past.
This is an unusual take on the time travel idea. No thought for time paradox, ageless Time Gods who dabble in directing the course of history throughout the galaxy. Amazing technology is used without explanation and it still works as a story.
The author paints his story with a wide brush. Clark Graham has a vivid imagination and has written a descriptive story that takes the reader on a journey with the Time Gods. This was an entertaining read.
Nicely paced, the pages kept turning. While the story was ok the lovers of time travel will be disappointed. The premise fails at inception and hardly improves.
