Be Mine

Rate this book
I'm an alpha firefighter who's given up on finding my soulmate. I'm forty years old, and at this point, I'm almost convinced she doesn't even exist. Until one day, I rescue a girl from a blazing inferno - and when I see her face as the smoke clears, I realize she's the one for me. She's the one I've been waiting for. She's my soul mate. She's everything I've ever dreamed of and more. She's stunning to me, and I can't take my eyes off her curves. She's everything I've ever wanted in a woman, and I know as soon as I see her that I'm feeling something I've never felt before. Love. And not just normal love. This is love at first sight. I'm going to marry this girl; I already know it. And I'm going to spoil her rotten. I work sixty hours a week at a factory, and I'm slowly losing hope. I go home each night and feel so alone. I'm so tired of this lonely feeling. It's overwhelming me, and I've given up on finding a good guy. I'm convinced that all men are the same - jerks. Until the man I've always dreamed of saves me from the burning factory. He's everything I could have ever asked for. Kind, generous, and oh so handsome. He's the perfect match for me, and every woman wants him. But only I can have him, and he's a loyal, faithful firefighter. I feel so safe when I'm with him; so secure and loved. I'm still so self-conscious of my heavyset frame, and I feel like I need to lose weight... But oddly enough, my heroic firefighter really loves my weight. He makes me feel so confident about myself. I want to stay with this man forever. Be Mine is a romance with an alpha firefighter and a curvy woman. The two of them are fated mates, destined to be together. There's absolutely no cheating in this story and it has a happy-ever-after ending.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book.
This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Be mine is the first book of Amber Branley’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining. Forty-year-old fire fighter, Hank has given up on finding his soul mate. That all changes when he saves a young woman from a burning building. From the moment he meets Lily, it is love at first sight. The question is, will Lily feel the same?
The chemistry between Lily and Hank is clear to see and I loved them together. Their spark was clear to see as was their instant connection.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a sweet read.

Fire

He's a older man and a firefighter and he saves her. One look into her eyes and he knew she's the one. She has the same thought. They have slot in common and it was meant to be together.

So bad, do very bad

This plot was so herky jerky. They said I love 600000 times in a 30 page book like ugh I get that they fell in life at first sight but come on wth

The book was a bit corny. Kept repeating things. Saw a few typos.
