I'm Christina Tuck, one of those girls who delivers food to your door. Then I knock on his. Bennett Powers. A ginger who wears suits like money is his church. I'm drenched from the rain, sticking my foot in my mouth. Am I in for some fun? Tuck yes.
With over 40 books published, and one feature film — Just One More Kiss, a ghost love story distributed by Lionsgate — Faleena now lives in Seattle, WA, with her rescue dog, Sophia, where she drinks too much coffee and enjoys every single drop of rain.
Another hit from Faleena. I could read her books every day, all day and be perfectly happy. Readers get so much from her books, humor, family, sexiness and above all love! Christina and Bennett’s story contains everything listed in the previous sentence, especially family. Elliott is such a special addition to the story. I have a feeling readers will fall in love with the Tuck series. Highly recommend.
This was a great quick read. I literally started and finished in a few hours because I couldn’t put it down. Faleena does not disappoint in this new series. I love Bennett (2 Es, 2 Ns and 2 Ts) and Christina (with a CH) and don’t forget about Elliott. I love how strong and confident Christina is and the single dad struggles of Bennett. It was sexy and hot and pulled on your heart strings, the perfect book for me! I can’t wait to hear more about the couples to come and hopefully hear more about these two as well!!
Great start to a spin off series from the Cocky Origins. We get to meet Christina Tuck who comes across as an all rounded good person with a few quirks. I really liked her, she meets Bennett Powers who is finding new additions to his life a little difficult but once he meets Christina things seem a little clearer. I enjoyed the story, kept me gripped and did have me.chuckle in a few places. Can't wait to read more from the Tuck family, another interesting family to follow alongside the Cockers.
This is Single You Out, book 1 of an exciting new series called Tuck Yes, written by Faleena Hopkins. We meet Christina Tuck, who is trying to keep her head above water while delivering food. She makes a delivery to Bennett Powers and is her usual straight forward self. Its a great book and I'm so ready to start on this new series. Bring them all on soon Ms Hopkins! I can't wait to read what you will come up with for each new friend we get to meet!
Another wonderful family to know and love! Written in Faleena’s uniquely, lovable way. Thought I could never love another family as much as I love the Cockers but then I met the Tuck family. I think my favorite character in “Single You Out” is Elliott. If you read this book, I think you’ll understand why. Happy reading y’all!!
I was so excited to see that Faleena Hopkins had released not only a new book, but also started a new series and I was not disappointed. Who doesn't love a sweet single dad story and Eliot is beyond cute.
Christina is the first of the Tuck family we get to meet. When she delivers lunch to Bennett's door, the attraction is immediate. So much so that he seeks her out. You will enjoy meeting members of Christina's family as well as Bennett's friends and their boys.
A great series beginning. I can't wait to read the next one.
This first foray into the Tuck family, since we met Peter and Lily in Cocky Origins, and I can't wait for more. Christina is just trying to make ends meet in thev city as a delivery girl. Till one jaw dropping tip gets left for her by an equally jaw dropping ginger customer. Christina and Bennett's chemistry is enough to set the pages on fire. As they try to navigate this budding romance with intense sexual attraction Bennett is trying to handle being a single father.
Absolutely loved this book. Elliot is the sweetest boy ever. Bennett and Christina are the most perfect pair. So excited for more. Faleena you always amaze me with your writing. Such heart and soul that you put into it is truly inspiring. This is definitely a must read.
Just loved it. The bits that make you laugh. Loved the storyline of a chance encounter leading to more. That he was out of touch with his son due to his upbringing, but with help from his friends and her they form a strong bond. He was a cute kid to read about.
Who is called to task by a.warm.giving woman . A hot connection with a woman who expects more and she's not afraid to.tell him.. It's another sizzling jtale of family some with cold unfeeling people some loving members . They find and the healing begin.
This is a great start to her new series! I love that the hero was a ginger because I am too and they don’t write enough about them! I also love it being about New York and that it showed a little about life in the Big Apple.
I absolutely loved this book! Faleena Hopkins is by far one one my favorite writers. She can get you so engrossed in the story that you lose track of the whole day.
Absolutely loved this book. Bennett, Christina and Elliott characters are beautifully written. Love how it sets it up for future books in this series. Love the banter, the bluntness and the bond of all the characters. It's a softer side of the cocky brothers which makes it it's own separate series. Love the male awkwardness of the 3 friends. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.
Standalone but she has a great sister and he has two divorced dads who are friends so I'm looking forward to more stories. Passion abounds! And men being men couldn't read a sign if they stood in front. Read the book you get it!
What a fun witty romance. This first book in the Tuck Yes series is just that. If you don’t fall in love with Christina and Bennett, just add Elliot to the mix and you’re hooked. And the ending is just the icing on the cake!
Im usually waiting on pins and needles waiting for Faleena's next novel, but this one was a surprise! I always enjoy Faleena's writing and this novel was no different. I didn't connect with the characters like I have in previous novels, but that's okay because her characters are so diverse. I still found many endearing character traits that made me love the characters. I can't wait to delve deeper into the relationship between Christina (with a C-H) and Bennett (two Es, two Ns, and two Ts) 🙄 all while getting to know Nax (love this name) and Josh better. Single dads that are trying to get it right and do the right thing by their children are super hot.
I used to enjoy this author’s books in the beginning, I don’t know if the writing changed or if it’s just me but other then a few exceptions I’m never into anything she writes anymore. Just reading out of habit still I guess. I was sort of looking forward to this book because I love single dad stories. This just didn’t do it for me though. The characters were underdeveloped and the story was rushed.
What a fantastic book! I love Faleenas books, the strong messages of love, hope and respect. I have to admit it was strange not having a Cocker in it but they were there in spirit. I loved Christina, and Elliott was amazing, my heart was breaking for him. Bennett was just super sexy alpha male! I can’t wait for Nax and Joshs story. Totally Tucking loved it!
This is a story of Christina Tuck who works hard to make ends meet, but inspite of her current circumstances she always has a happy disposition and a good heart. In one of her deliveries, she met the ginger Bennett Powers who instantly attracted Christina but because of her straight forward approach, they were off on a bad start. However, this does not stop the two hearts destined to be together. This is a very quick read and heartwarming. I am so looking forward to meeting more Lily Tuck’s family. Keep it coming Faleena!
Received as a gift via the authors fan page, I'm a big fan of her Cocker series, and her work before that. I was sceptical about a new series but quickly realized there was no reason to be - it's GREAT. Adorable story and characters, great story line, excitement as well as emotion, as well as more than one scene guaranteed to melt your kindle.... highly recommended.
This was such a cute story!! I absolutely loved it and could not put it down. I was so excited about Bennett's red hair....I adore redheads!! He and Christina were so cute and fun and, of course, Elliot was adorable. I don't like to give away any story details in my reviews, but I really loved these characters. They were perfectly flawed and so adorable! The story was perfectly paced so you get to know the characters and become invested in their lives. It was amazing and I can't wait for more!!
