Hey, I'm Edmund Hughes. I like to write fantasy novels with strong erotic themes, gratuitous amounts of sex and violence, and offensive humor. If that's what you're looking for, you've come to the right place.

"Hey, a new Arcane Dropout! Despite some of it's problems (probably due to the fast release speed), this is a pretty good series."

"Oh hey, I wondered how the Protag was going to get out of that last cliffhanger, but I guess it was super easy, barely an inconvenience. Well, it did lead to some nice moments.."

"Really? That's all you're going to do to take down those clearly more powerful and well equip guys in that situation? I mean, it looks like it worked out, but I still kind of wish he'd explore his abilities and pact with Tess more. Or plan out these things more in advance. Or at least take SOME type of reliable weapons with him, anything to show growth.."

"Ah well, this is still streets ahead of that OTHER series... I was excited because it was by the same author, but I couldn't even get past the third book in that cringefest, it was so infuriating.."

"Still no prep after arriving at the island, huh? Well, okay, I guess there's a reason to go to what is basically a powerful enemies hideout at night with no weapons. I mean, what's the worse.. that.. can..."

"Wait. A vampire on a small island. In a creepy mansion. With a character named... Waaait.." (looks back at the end of AD 2...) "Oh. Ooohhh..."

The serious setback the MC suffered in Book 3 was quickly (maybe TOO quickly) resolved but other than that, and despite everything that happens, this one for me didn't seem to move the yardsticks. It seemed like it was treading water, but for whatever reason I just wasn't feeling it. The MC makes even more stupid decisions and it's wearing on me.

I've realized that I need to at least respect the MC in books I read, but Lee fails that test. I will probably read the next one to see if it gets moving again, but if it doesn't this may be the end of the line for me with this series.

Following on from the end of the last book, Lee is trying to make sense of things after having his memories wiped.Things come to a head when Tess finds him. He goes to find his sister Zoe who is with Jack on Lestaron Island with the house of shadows. Things get complicated as usual when Lee and Harper go to meet his friends who are on a seaside break. There are several sex scenes with Tess and Harper.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great 👍

Great read and keep glue to it can't put it down i think it would be great if you could make it so Lee find Katie ghost and hookup and give him back in house of shadow and with the two of them give great power and he can start charging thing like it should be and Harper betray him and he get critical attack and Jack find him and change him the only to save him and Katie

Another guilty pleasure

Writing:so\so
Story:better than the writing
All in all, a pleasure although a guilty one, enjoyable but not great, not Roth, not even Vidal, but worth the time.
