Rate this book
In a series of real time, as-it-happened focused, literate essays, Shearer rips the scab off the wrongs President Trump has wrought on America. Then she adds a healing poultice—what we can do to prevent another 'Trump' from happening, how we can reunite the people, and restore our country again.

From the author:
America in Crisis, is a series of more than 90 essays, written in real time as events happened, over a three-year period. The book begins just prior to the 2016 election and ends as Congress is considering Articles of Impeachment — the first time. This is the only book about the Trump administration that provides a chronological record of events that many would like to forget, but to do so tempts repetition by the next Trump iteration. This book is meant to serve as both a record of events and a warning of the fragility of democracy and that defending it is not a spectator sport.
This book won the President's Gold Medal Award from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association in July 2022.
