At the age of 20, she graduated from a top school in the United States with a double major. At 23, she bought a new villa for her parents. She, Wei Yujin, had risen from the mud to the peak of fame in the 21st century, and she's going to do the same in ancient China.
This is a funny story. Since its ongoing there wasn't much romance yet. BUT the comedy and art is really GREAT. So when this girl transmigrated, she was in a body of a deposed empress. Typical cliche. One unique thing I noticed was that she was a great writer in her previous life. So now she's storming the Capital market with her elegant writings and stories. Even the people in the Palace lover her stories and the books were in high demand. But what no one noticed that she was the author behind the pen name. I would recommend this story because not only the artwork is amazing the plots are still developing so I quite enjoy it.
1. 22 year old financial genius/author (I know I rolled my eyes too ) gets sent into the body of a disgraced empress. She then writes multiple bestselling novels, wins the heart of the emperor and deals with all the political/harem plotting thrown her way.
2. This was hilarious. The main ship is two hypercompetent people who are also whiny, clingy and/or petty romantic partners. It is, genuinely, a sweet and believable relationship. These two are having fun with each other and it's adorable.
3. The harem plotting and so on is pretty basic, but you know it's still fun. Maybe I just have low tastes. I also appreciate the wife variety of supporting lady characters, all of them fun in their own way. It's great.
4. The MC's brother Wei PeiLin is like impossibly attractive, intelligent and loyal. I was really rooting for him to get together with the general he had a beloved enemies relationship with. I got my wish but in a very monkeys paw kinda way. Honestly, a waste of a character I was really rooting for. The one star is taken off just for that.
5. There is also way more meta stuff than I expected? And it's actually an interesting meta narrative! The antagonist is an asshole and also pretty competent and I like it! It did throw me off a bit when I first saw it because I didn't expect it though.
6. I do like the whole women of the world unite subplot that runs through the story. That's a narrative I'm not likely to get tired of anytime soon.
