It's Christmas time at Sanctuary Ranch. The Daddies are determined to make it a wonderful Christmas for their Littles. There's a wedding, gifts and even a visit from Santa. Come and join the fun!
Laylah loves reading, but she particularly loves a good romance with some seriously alpha men. Protective, possessive men with large hearts. Writing has become her passion and she hopes her readers enjoy her stories as much as she does writing them.
This was such a good novella for readers who love the Montana Daddies series. We get looks into every couple’s lives that we met so far. The best part was the wedding but also seeing the friendship between all of the girls.
Also! For the love of all things good, can Macca please get his HEA?! Seriously, this is all I need.
If you enjoy the Montana Daddies series, then don’t hesitate to read this when it releases!
Plot: This book is the lead-up to Bear and Ellie's wedding. It's also Christmas on the ranch. The Littles have a sleepover in place of a traditional bachelorette party and have a great time with lots of dancing, playing, and candy of course (Daisy approves!). Also, they set up a tradition with Santa, with a cameo from Macca (whom we will definitely see again).
Character development: In this book we see each individual couple interact as well as the group as a whole. Daisy in particular is having trouble feeling anxious about fitting in, and Jed is trying to convince her that everything will be okay. I still don't favor Jed as a character (still mad at him!), but I love Daisy, so I like seeing her integrate into the group.
If you like Age Play that's consensual and relatively mild, and DD that's also consensual and relatively mild, you'll probably like this since there's no question that the "Daddies" adore their "little girls." I also appreciated that the women are friends, since so often this genre divides them. I do warn you, though, that it's impossible to follow this without reading the four others in the series: Daddy Bear, Daddy's Little Darling, Daddy's Sweet Girl, and Daddy's Lost Love. I've read them all and I still had trouble keeping the four (five if you count Eden) couples straight -- though part of the reason is that (except for Eden), I've never seen much distinction among any of these characters.
A few observations:
1) Age Play is not my kink so I haven't read a ton of it, but, is it all this gender-essentialist? That is, do all women want to be Disney Princesses, want their nails done, love glitter, and love pink? Do none want to be, say, Disney Pirates or, I don't know, play with toy cars? I'm having a hard time believing that Age Play always takes the form it does here and in the other books I've read.
2) So, Ms. Roberts isn't from the U.S., but I'm pretty sure that everyone knows that Boxing Day doesn't exist here.
3) I thought the wedding -- which was not at all well-described -- got short shrift.
4) I would really like Eden's story. She's much more interesting than any of the other characters and it would be nice to see a character with a disability take center stage since they so rarely do in this genre.
This was a cute shorter read to catch up with all of the couples from Montana Daddies #1-4 AND we got a brief chapter of Zeke and Eden.
I loved seeing more of each couple that I’ve read so far. I tried to forget the fact that I didn’t really like Jed and Daisy’s book. I was super mad at how Jed acted in his book but he was pretty great in this one. Glad he got his shit together.
Bear and Ellie ❤️ I loooove them and we got to see them married on Christmas Eve. Ugh, I love it. It was mentioned that their honeymoon would be at Disneyland and I want to read that so bad!!! I love everything Disney and it would make me super happy to read about their trip. Dang it. Wishful thinking.
I seriously want to read about Eden and Zeke. I want to know what their deal is. I can’t wait to read their story, hopefully it will be sooner in the series than later!
Overall this was a nice read to see what the 4 couples have been up to. I enjoyed it.
I loved seeing where all the couples are now! Especially Ellie and Bear. They’re by far my favorites in this series so far and I’m so happy they’re married. 😍
5 ~ Hands down top favorite christmas read ~ Stars!!!
Just to give you some context, I binge read all the Montana Daddy books in the last two weeks and I've been loving every single one so much that I'm re-reading them again. This author and this series has been so eye opening for me and so enjoyable. It's hard to find good DD/lg books but this sets a high freakin standard for this genre because it has amazing characters, real emotional connection and an awesome balance of give and take. I highly recommend it!
So needless to say, when I saw this christmas novella right before the holidays I had to get my hands on it!
🖤 ~ My Thoughts ~ 🖤 I'm so happy I was able to read it! It catches up with all the amazing Daddies and their little girls, (Bear and Ellie, Charlie and Clint, Abby and Kent, Jed and Daisy, and even Eden and Zeke! *happy dance*) There's christmas spirit by the bus load, there's cute scenes with my favorite couples and it just left me feeling warm, content and happy!
If you've followed this series, definitely check out this cute follow up, it wont disappoint. If you're looking for DD/lg perfection, look no further than this whole series. Its always safe, cute, funny and sexy as only Layla Roberts does it. This can be read as a standalone but I'd suggest reading the individual books first, you'll love them all that much harder if you understand their backstories and history.
Heat Level: 5/5

I loved this Christmas story about the couples at Sanctuary Ranch. I love this series by Laylah Roberts. I couldn't put this book down.
It's Christmas time at Sanctuary Ranch and the girls are looking forward to spending it with each other and their daddies. All the girls have had problems that their daddies need to help them out with. Ellie and Bear are having a Christmas wedding. Bear will do anything to make Ellie happy. Jed and Daisy are still working on their new relationship. Daisy is getting comfortable with her little self. Charlie wants to have an amazing bachelorette party for Ellie but is overdoing it until Clint puts his foot down. Abbey has never had a Christmas before and Kent is determined to give her a great one this year.

This was another awesome story from the Sanctuary Ranch series. It’s wonderful to see what the couples are up to. The holidays are a great place to visit them. I love this series and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
A MONTANA DADDIES CHRISTMAS is the fifth book in the Montana Daddies series. While the other books in the series can be read in any order, it is best if this one be read after the other four, since all four couples are brought together.
It is sweet and it is light – as sweet and light as cotton candy – which I’m sure the girls would love to indulge in eating. I loved reading the updates of my favorite DDs and their littles. I loved the sleepover, the Christmas party, and the wedding. So much happiness squeezed into a one holiday book!
I’d love to read about Eden and Zeke finding their way to one another. I’d also love to have a story about Macca; he’s so good to the girls that he deserves his own baby girl.
One note of vocabulary: Though set in Montana, there is talk of a “hen party.” In the US, we call them bachelorette parties.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
Title: A MONTANA DADDIES CHRISTMAS Series: Montana Daddies #5 Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance, BDSM Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content Grammar/editing: received as an unedited ARC / errors excused Received from: Laylah Roberts
A beautiful, sweet catch up on all the Daddy Dom’s and their Little’s, their joy at Christmas time was the perfect read! Little’s and Daddy’s are what Laylah Roberts writes best. A short read that brought tears to my eyes with their wonderful Xmas storyline! I loved Jed and Daisy’s story of the hated Brussels sprouts, in fact anything green!! Daisy is nervous about the girls sleep over and that she needs her snuggly and her Binky! Charlie and Clint was where the sleep over would be and Clint has to put her mind at rest on how to organise the party. Does Charlie want the gift of marriage too? Kent and Abby had to sort out why she has to buy everyone on the ranch a Christmas present! Why had she never had a Christmas like this before? Bear and Ellie are getting married so this is the girls hen night. Why are Ellie’s parents asking for an invite to their wedding? Eden and Zeke love to hate one another and Edendenies she is a Little, but Zeke sees through her. Such a light hearted well deserved 5 star ⭐️ read that I can highly recommend! I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy
A Montana Daddies Christmas is a short story that takes place on the Ranch, following all four couples to whom we have already been introduced. There are chapters from the perspectives of each of these couples, as well as a few hints at who might star in future additions!
Some of the traditions that are introduced are actually pretty good ideas that I think would be fun to introduce IRL, whether you are in a D/s relationship or not.
Very little material introduced in this short story is new. Mainly it is a chance to catch up with the characters during the holiday season, and experience Ellie and Bear's wedding "real time" rather than off-page in another character's book. As such, there is little focus on plot development and a lot of time devoted to sex in this book!
One departure from this trend is the following scene, that takes place between Ellie and Bear. I think it is such an important message to remember, especially during the Christmas season!
"Family isn't always about blood."
He reached down for her left hand and pulled it up to his mouth, kissing it gently. "No baby, it sure isn't. Family is about the people you love and who love you."
In this book it Christmastime in Montana and we get to see how things are going for Ellie and Bear, Clint and Charlie, Jed and Daisy, and Kent and Abby. We get to see the Littles celebrate the holiday with their Daddies and a visit from Santa. Also they are planning Ellie's and Bear's wedding. The guy's give their little girls an amazing sleep over to celebrate Ellie's engagement and then each one gets their own special holiday treat. Not to say that they didn't get a little spanking for being a brat at times. Oh and I loved Daisy's time out chair.
This is a great holiday themed littles story that will captivate from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I read this story after a friend recommended it. Not having read the previous books of the series, I was surprised by it. I didn't expect it to be a dom/submissive (Little) book. I have never read a story like it before, but found that I enjoyed it. I'm glad that I had no clue about that factor or I may have passed on reading it. After finishing big the book, I am wanting to go back and read the earlier books of the series.
This title is a nice glimpse of the lives of four couples from the previous books as they prepare for the wedding of Bear and Ellie. Each woman is still working out how to navigate their dom/sub lifestyle but their men are patient and steady.
Definitely will be reading the other books in the series.
So so happy to have read this! It was such a treat to catch up with my favorite Daddies and their Littles. Bear and Ellie are getting married. If you read the ending of the previous book you know this. This book was set during Christmas and centered around Bear and Ellie’s wedding. It was so refreshing to catch a glimpse into our other couples like Clint and Charlie and witness their story continue on. Still learning about each other, still growing together. I can’t wait until we get to Eden and Zeke. I just know shes going to push Zeke away but eventually he’ll break through her defenses and discover the trueness that is eden. Can’t wait!!! ❤️
If you love Little’s and their Daddy’s, you will love this story. On Christmas Eve Bear and Ellie are getting married and this story relates to the few days prior to that event and some of the Christmas celebration leading up to it. Each Little shows a part of their past that has been hurtful to them, mknowing that they are now cherished and loved. There is a lot more going on in this story which makes for a great read. The story is well written, entertaining and worth reading. I can highly recommend this story if you love story’s about Little’s.
Christmas at Sanctuary Ranch is an opportunity for the Littles to have fun, and it is also Bear and Ellie’s wedding, so the opportunities for sugar overindulgence and general fun for all are endless. It’s a delightful revisiting of the ranch, but somehow the wedding felt overshadowed and Eden seemed too far on the periphery. The men of Sanctuary, though, are always consistently fabulous – and Santa himself was a stroke of genius. If you’re a fan of the Sanctuary Ranch Littles, you will enjoy this book.

Great wrap up for the first part of the series. I always like to know what came next for my favorite characters, and this gave that in spades. Although sneaky Laylah Roberts left it all set up for the next stories in the series, by giving you a bigger glimpse into Eden and Zeke's "relationship". Also by mentioning several other reappearing characters like Macca and a few others. I also think something might be coming about the sheriff as well. All in all I'm in love with this author and this series in general.
Absolutely fantastic! A captivating well written read; it gives us a glimpse into the lives of the four previous couples of this series: Ellie and Bear, Charlie and Clint, Abby and Kent, and Daisy and Jed. It is a fun read as the characters try to navigate the ups and downs of their Dom/Sub lifestyle and at the same time prepare for Bear and Ellie’s wedding. I can hardly wait to read the next book in this series.

This was such a wonderful read. I’ve really enjoyed all the baby girl and daddy Dom’s in this series. It’s only logical that Bear and Elli are the ones to walk first down the aisle! I loved each of the couples so bringing them all into one story their own chapters was great! Laylah Roberts is a great Author and I think this one wii be a great hit!

I loved this book, it was sweet and funny and sexy all rolled into one. Each one of the couples had chapters devoted to them and the event of Bear and Ellie’s wedding ran through each story and the preparations for it. The men were so caring and considerate it makes the reader feel all warm and fuzzy and there was a peek into the future with Eden and Zeke as well as hints about Macca. A truly feel good Christmas story.
I loved this sweet addition to the series. The story in about Christmas and couples preparing for this but first is hen nights as one of the ladies is getting married. And I defiantly recommend it if you are planning on reading more and learn about all Babies and Daddies in this. Fun read, as the Daddies getting fussy and more protective then before. A few marriages in planning, too.

I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing life and likability to every person. The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.
I was very impressed with how simply and effortlessly this author told this addicting, multi-layered story with well-developed world building and great characters.

A Montana Daddies Christmas: This is the first book of the author and the book that introduced me to this author. Ms. Roberts weaved a very lovely romance story, a wedding, a bunch of littles at a sleepover, and to top it off it is Christmas time. This book was fun to read. So many happy moments.
The plot is well thought out and the characters are well rounded with their idiosyncrasies, the interactions between all the characters will draw you into the story from the beginning and you will not want to put the book down until you have finished it.
Absolutely love it great read funny in all the right places the characters and the relationships are just awesome love the daddies series can not wait for more and hope there will be any more. Got but if everything alpha male, loving relationships, great funny moments to lighten things up but also great story that give great HEA
This book is the one i'm going to re-read on Christmas day as it's a definite feel great read. I so loved Bear and Ellie's happy ever after.... A romantic Christmas read 💗💗💗💗. Christmas cake, eggnog, strong dominant men, spanking, hot sex and a wedding. That's my Christmas day sorted. 😘😘
The many characters at Sanctuary Ranch weaved great stories throughout each one of the books. Especially with the culmination of Mountain Daddy Christmas. I'm hooked and now a great fan of Laylah Roberts I 'll read more stories and recommend them to friends
This was a fun daddy and littles book about several couples that lived on a ranch. The book centered on a few days of their lives as they made ready for one couples wedding. It delves into their pasts as well as their presents.

Hail, Hail the gangs all here, at least those that have a little already but we get glimpses of hope for others. We are back with Bear, Clint, Kent and Jed and their big little girls. The focus is on the wedding of Bear and Ellie. The guys start new traditions with their girls. I loved this book so much.
