His Fake GF: An Enemies To Lovers Romance is the first Jolie Day book that I've ever read, and it was...an experience, a rather mediocre experience that was pretty lacking in romance for a romance novel; as far as I'm concerned. This book was more about corporate sabotage and corporate espionage than anything else. I also found Aaron rather unlikable and annoying at times for a male love interest in a romance novel. That being said, I enjoyed His Fake GF: An Enemies To Lovers Romance enough, and I saw enough potential in Jolie Day's writing to read more of her books in the future.

My rating/score: 2 out of 5 stars on Goodreads' rating system / 4 out of 10 on my own personal scoring system.

Aaron and Audrey were going to have a wild night together until it was interrupted. When they meet again, Audrey learns who he really is, the competition. He wants to buy her family business. The end up making an agreement where she will be his date at public functions, what will happen when sparks begin to fly. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Aaron isn’t the easiest character to love but Audrey makes him better. A good read.

This is the first book or story I have read from Jolie Day. I really enjoyed this and look forward to reading more stories from her. The characters were fleshed out and developed nicely. I was caught up in the sudden attraction of Peter and Lucy. You felt sure there was going to be a happily ever after at the end and in that sense parts of it were predictable, but the ride getting there was an enjoyable one. I loved that Lucy was a good strong woman and wanted it all. I loved the relationship between Lucy and her Mom. A wonderful short read and a new guilty pleasure.

Aaron is top of his game, he is runs a very successful business & is well known for being a ladies man.
But he wants a break from the media attention he receives every time he attends an event.
So he propositions Audrey, an assistant from a rival company.
He wants her to be his fake girlfriend to attend dinners & events & in exchange he won’t try to buy out her cousins company she works for.
But lines get blurred along the way & they both begin to have feelings for each other.
In the midst of their “relationship” Aaron discovers some discrepancies from his finance department & begins combing through every record to find what happened.
However all trails kept pointing back to Aaron & he becomes the main suspect in the police investigation.
Will they find the real culprit before it’s too late?

I enjoyed this read from Jolie Day.
It was a good mix of fun, sex & mystery.
Aaron & Audrey had chemistry from the beginning when they met in the bar & it was enjoyable to see them try to keep those feelings contained after going ahead with the deal.
Wasn’t the biggest fan of Ronny. I know you should stick by family but for me I probably would’ve walked away. He should’ve told her what was happening since they were so close. But then the story would have ended way too soon, lol.

Jolie Day checked off all my boxes with His Fake GF, so there couldn't be less than 5 stars from me. Lately, I've been a bit harder on authors because of heroes that I will NEVER EVER forgive from their actions, and I'm sure it's because of this particular season in my life, so bravo Jolie Day. This story surrounds Audrey, who almost hooked up with Aaron in the past, but when circumstances beyond her control came about, she had no choice but to leave before things got really hot, and since he gave her a fake name, well that was that. Next time she comes across his path, it happens to be about her family's failing company that he's threatening to buy out, and she's not having any of him now. Aaron needs someone who can masquerade as his GF, and with some maneuvering, he gets Audrey to agree to it, with the agreement that he doesn't buy her family company. This doesn't mean that they don't participate in some push & pull moments with interactions on the argumentative side, but that chemistry they started with that whole failed hookup, is still ever present, but the rules state, no sexy times. While they fight, someone is out to take Aaron down, providing me with a ton of f-bomb worthy twists, which is truly my happy place. So there you go, all kinds of goodness to this story, so hit your one click button, as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

His Fake Girlfriend was my introduction to this author so I didn't know what to expect.

Aaron, a self made millionaire with an aversion to relationships but not sex, was sick of the media speculating about his private life. So he hired Audrey, a confident, independent woman not afraid to speak her mind, as his 'girlfriend'. Circumstances changed and the story is about how they dealt with those changes.

I felt the book started a little slow and I almost set it aside, but I got through the beginning and finished it. It might be just my personal preference but I thought the first say 25% was too drawn out, and although it contained back story that was useful later, I felt it could have been condensed to make way for expanding the end which I felt was too rushed. After becoming involved with the characters, engrossed in their story the end wasn't enough for me. A good book will always leave you wanting more but this wasn't that. Its like that saying "Don't blink or you'll miss it." I feel like I blinked and missed a whole lot.

Overall I did enjoy this book. The plot is good, it had some mystery and some heat, and characters you can love.

This is one wonderful story that gives you suspense, romance, evilness, drama and true love! We get to meet Aaron who is a very successful and wealthy sexy businessman who is the CEO of his own company. He is one intense and conceited man and has high standards for himself and all his employees. The press is always trying to figure out who Aaron is dating and he keeps a low profile when out and about. Audrey is a loyal smart woman who stands her ground and does not let Aaron walk all over her. They meet in a random bar and Aaron gives a fake name and he does not seal the deal as Audrey runs out as her cousin and boss, Ronny needs her. These two keep running into one another and once Audrey agrees to Aaron’s deal to fake date do they start to become more, making a real go at being together. There are outside forces out to take Aaron down by saying he is stealing from his company with the hope he goes to jail and no longer has his company. I enjoyed how Aaron reveals more of himself when he is with Audrey and how genuinely they care for one another and eventually work together as a team. It seems Audrey’s got just the right kind of sass and chutzpah to melt Aaron’s hard business heart. When it becomes obvious that things at Aaron’s company aren’t as they should be, you’re going to be surprised by who’s behind it all.

This is a fast-paced story, filled with smart dialogue, drama with a touch of intrigue, a few twists and a surprising turn, and just enough hot, steamy passion. Be prepared once you start this, you will find it hard to put down because it’s a love story that’s well worth reading. The characters are well-drawn, and the storyline will pull you in from the beginning and keep you involved right through until the end. This is an extremely engaging and enjoyable read from start to finish.

His Fake GF by Jolie Day was a fun and exciting story I really enjoyed this book it made me laugh out loud in spots and for me that is a great read. The characters are so fun and entertaining and very easy to like. I want to say so much about this book but for fear of giving to much away all I will say is I absolutely loved Aaron and the way he and Audrey banter. For me this was definitely a five star read. The story has friendships, family and maybe just a bit of love. Aaron is out on the town when he starts to talk to a beautiful woman, Audrey is out one night and sits next to one handsome stranger and things are getting a bit heated when she get an emergency phone call and has to leave. When she see the stranger from the night before at her job this is where the real fun starts. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it. Absolutely love this story. It has the perfect balance of intensity, suspense and romance. I like Aaron, he may be cocky and conceited but he is a working business owner, stays on top of all aspects of his company and is man enough and smart to handle it and sexy, of course, love him. Audrey, she is bold, brave, smart and not intimidated or interested in what he says or does, love her too. I love the plot and how the author lets them get to know one another which I think allows them to let down their barriers and get to patiently see & understand the unguarded person. I also love that the plot is suspenseful instead of an overload of drama, makes the story more intriguing. Enjoyed this from beginning to end, couldn't put it down. Aaron is an advertising mogul, owner of Patterson Advertising. Audrey works at Pace Advertising, her cousin Ronny's advertising agency and a company Aaron is in competition with. These two meet in a bar on a night that Aaron is celebrating stealing a client from a competitor. They hit it off and Aaron is about to make his move but Audrey gets a call and had to leave. Aaron gets a surprise the next day when at a meeting with a competitor the first person he sees is Audrey. I really enjoyed this book. It was well written with interesting characters and a plot that was both suspenseful and intriguing. Aaron and Audrey had great chemistry and I enjoyed the banter between them. This is definitely a must read for anyone who enjoys reading enemies to lovers romance.

Since the novel summary I read on Amazon was from the prospective of Audrey, I expected the novel to focus more on her. It turned out to focus more on Aaron. Even though that wasn’t what I anticipated, I still loved joining Aaron and Audrey as they journeyed to their HEA. The pacing of the story was great! I enjoyed getting to know Aaron first, then Audrey. I also wasn’t expecting a Romantic Suspense. Once the story took that turn, I was hooked!! Stayed up much later than I meant to so I could keep reading and find out WhoDunIt!

This was a fast paced story of Aaron a CEO of his company and needed a fake girlfriend for appearance. What he didn’t expect was to become friends and then lovers. Only problem was she worked for the competition company.

Aubrey loved her uncle and worked hard for his company, but when she offered to be a fake girlfriend wirh Aaron she thought it couldn’t hurt and she was attracted too him. They became friends and in the meantime someone was trying to blackmail him and Aubrey wanted to Br their for him which brought these two closer together where now they were actually in a relationship.

Aaron and Aubrey worked too clear his name and in the end I was shocked to find out who did that too him. Only good thing was Aaron and Aubrey relived they had fallen in love after all was said and done. I loved this two characters!

Great Read!!

When Aaron and Audrey first met he gave her a fake name and was all set to take her to a hotel room for a night they'd enjoy just once, as was his MO. But then her phone run and she was forced to run out. It wasn't until later that she discovered that he was the biggest rival of her cousin's firm (where she works) and that he was not who he introduced himself as. Add to that he is bent on buying out the firm and she is not happy with him. But he needs her more to the point he wants her and No is not a word he enjoys hearing. He gets her to agree to be his fake GF in exchange for not pursuing her family's firm. Drama and intrigue make this HOT book a great read.

Audrey and Aaron were both strong minded people who were attracted to each other after they met at a pub. She discovered who he really was later and he was surprised to know her connection to a rival company. Aaron's brother, Devon, was involved with Aaron's investment company and usually had a calming effect when Aaron would get a bit heated in the office.The drama and twists starts with rumors. I won't give away the rest of the story because it is I liked the story from start to finish. This author did a great job of weaving humor and seriousness in the story line. I read this book in one sitting to get to the ending. I received this book freely and voluntarily give my honest opinion.

Still thinking about each other and what they missed, another chance meeting at Audrey's office when she finds out who Aaron really is. He is trying to buy out the company she works for as they are competitors and have just lost their largest client to Aaron's company. Being all work and no play, everyone cannot believe what is going on with him & Audrey (although no one knows it is just a fake girlfriend he is after, or is it?). What happens when someone tries to frame him. Never trust thoses closest to you!!

its has a un satisfied end unfortunately, it seems as if the story is cut of!
or it must be a continuation as a serie???

What a spectacular book. You will be hooked at the first chapter. I read it in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. Someone is setting up Aaron for embezzlement for his own company and he can’t figure out who it is and neither can anyone at his company. You will think you have it figured out, but you won’t even be close. The culprit will take you totally by surprise. Reading this book is like watching a real Perry Mason who-done-it kind of movie. You get more and more engaged in the story with each page that you turn. It is absolutely fantastic. Highly entertaining. Incredible storyline. Hot as fire love scenes and you will love watching the confirmed playboy bachelor find his forever love.

This story is full of drama from start to finish. It is a bit of a mystery with an ending that is unexpected. The characters are well developed with great personalities. The chemistry between Audrey and Aaron is so strong that it is felt throughout the story. Aaron is stubborn, caring for the ones he loves and super protective. Audrey is sweet, feisty, stubborn , with a caring side that goes a mile wide. The story is well written and flow is amazing. It is most certainly worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

They meet again when Aaron tries to merge with her cousins company and even though they are still attracted to each other she pushes him away angry that he is trying to take a family members company. Aaron finally gets her to agree to be his fake girlfriend and as they start growing closer someone inside his company is trying to set him up as an embezzler. Can they find the culprit before he gets sent to jail for something he didn’t do?

Terrific!! Heat, intrigue and mystery are presented in a perfect story that will keep you mesmerized until the very end. It is a sexy romance that has twists and turns. The characters are portrayed so well that you feel like you are among them and you don't know who to trust or who to believe as the evidence grows against Aaron. The dual points of view from Aaron and Audrey definitely add to the drama with their personal thoughts and fears as well as how their relationship is developing to heights neither of them considered possible. I highly recommend this book!
