…It’s not easy saving a special agent’s life with your hands cuffed behind your back
Join USA Today Bestselling Author Fiona Quinn on the hunt for those bringing danger to American shores in these action adventure romances driven by spies, conspiracy theories, political corruption and love.
OPEN SECRET – To beat the enemy at their own game, Rowan and Avery must break the rules. It only complicates things that they’re falling in love.
COLD RED –
Here was Anna’s chance to escape and survive. It would be so much easier without her special forces code – no man left behind. It’s a cross-country cat and mouse game while maintaining her undercover status. It’s hard to explain why a criminal would go to such lengths for the guy who is determined to throw her behind bars.
EVEN ODDS –
A plan is hatched to insert the two intelligence officers into the action—under the cover of a fake marriage—painting a target on Raine’s back, enticing the mole out into the open.
Damian wasn’t there when his Delta Force brothers saved Raine from the terrorists in Afghanistan, will he be there for her this time when she’s in the sniper’s rifle sights?

This book set has 3 books featuring FBI Agents. These agents work with Iniquus and we get a front row seat reading about the agent’s dilemma. Ms Quinn never disappoints. Her books are action packed, suspenseful and steamy. She immerses you in the sights and sounds of wherever the story takes place and you will always learn something you didn’t know.
Open Secret This is a good book with twits and turns. It lost me at times talking about IT items. But it was interesting. I loved Avery’s personality and how she tried to help, others. Her friend Lola was so much fun and funny. I loved the pranks she did to the priest at confession. That had me laughing. Avery’s mother had me laughing at times too. I know she had a medical problem that made her act the way she did, but sometimes you you have to laugh so you don’t cry. Avery is a romance editor and her boss is awful. I can understand while she was confused when he made her edit a book that was borderline illegal and not in her genre. It was so interesting how Rowan, and FBI agent, and Avery met. I was glad he was around to protect her. There are Russians trying to do terrible things to the US. The means they were using were so different t from anything I had heard. I loved the suspense in the book. I strongly encourage you to read it.
Cold Red Anna is undercover working as Zelda when she is taken into custody along with another member of the group she is undercover. As they are taken over the mountains of West Virginia, they fly off the mountain and her cohort is killed as well as one of the FBI agents. Luckily Anna is a survivor and has many skills. I loved all the things she did to keep herself and Agent Finley alive. I felt so bad that Finley had his head hurt to the extent he could hardly walk with his eyes open. Anna and Finely have to take off in a bad snowstorm in the woods to try and get away from the people who want to kill them. It was so exciting reading all the different scenarios they had to go through to survive in the wilderness. I wondered if they got closer because of what they were going through and if it would hold up in a normal situation. It is an exciting book that I strongly encourage you to read the book.
Even Odds This book was just as good as the others. I can’t imagine what Raine and Damian went through in their military careers. Raine went through a traumatic situation when she was held captive. Unfortunately that was the end of Raine and Damian’s relationship for seven years. I was impressed how well Raine adjusted after her capture. It was amazing how many people she had pretended to be under cover. I felt bad that Damian still loved her and had to keep his emotions under wraps. I loved that the two were thrown together on a mission. They both went through some scary situations that had me on edge. I loved the story and strongly encourage you to read the book.
Open Secret In spite of the amount of time I spend reading books, I’m totally a movie girl when it comes to imagery. And in that vein, this story felt like an unholy cross between Live Free or Die Hard and there were some moments that I felt were channelling The Purge. Now these are not two movies I’ve ever thought of in the same sentence before, but they have the right concepts to match the terror-inducing plot the author has created with this book. The reason I find it so terror inducing? I can’t prove that any of this isn’t happening at this very moment. I’m going to go put on my tinfoil hat now and find a small, lead-lined casket for my cell phone… Or maybe a large one to hold all my electronic devices. Cold Red I Initially came to this book with no prior experience in the world of Iniquus, so I wasn’t carrying any baggage about Finley’s previous bad behaviour. I cannot even begin to imagine how difficult it must be for an author to redeem a character the way it sounds like Finley needed to be. Now that it’s over, I need the next book NOW! I also need to go back and read the whole rest of the series that came before. This story stands perfectly well on its own with just enough teasers about the other stories to make my one-click finger itchy. Even Odds I have no words for where this story took me. I am in awe of the author’s ability with the written word and an abstract concept. It’s a daring thrill-ride that I pray is pure fiction, but terrifies me with how very possible it is. In a world that seems hell-bent on tearing people apart, I love reading about lovers being reunited. And Damian and Raine are a pair that more than deserved a second chance. Ever since I first met him, there was just something so compelling about the enigmatic Special Agent in Charge that made me rather desperate to know more about Damian. Raine is his perfect partner in every way. When talking about Raine, I feel the need to borrow an Old Hollywood analogy about Fred & Ginger: sure he was great, but don't forget that she did everything he did, ...backwards and in high heels. This sentiment, to me, perfectly captures who Raine is and why she is so amazing at her job. I hate that the book is over already because I am nowhere near done with these characters. I need the next book NOW!
This box set compares favorably to the other segments which also come in a box set.
Each story has its own plot with a slight mention of what happened in the previous story. The 1st book deals with Avery, a romance editor being directed to assist with the finalization of a novel that deals with violence in games. She finds out later that the FBI is looking into the author since her previous novel led to advancing agendas which portray types of incidents that may result in violence. This novel as well as the one currently being written, has a video game as well as specific music associated with it. The FBI with assist from Iniquus is able to halt this story from being released. It has a great deal of action leading up to the end that you must read to get the true picture.
The second story involves the FBI task force arresting individuals associated with a white supremacist group. While transporting the prisoners, this group has set a plan in motion to rescue the prisoners. The transport vehicle is involved in an accident where one of the prisoners was killed in addition to an FBI team member. Steve Finlay, an FBI agent, and Zelda Fitzgerald a prisoner escaped the accident alive and looked for a way to evade the pursuit of the supremacist group. After several days of hiking, they finally reached the road and were able to obtain a ride. Shortly after, they discovered that their driver was a member of the group looking for them. They were able to take control of the vehicle and with assistance from Iniquus, were able to make it to safety where their injuries were looked at.
The 3rd story dealt with the FBI team following leads which led them to a situation where a member of the Slovakian mafia was attempting to work with a person in HR in the Pentagon to gather information related to Special Forces members. This information was to be used to attempt to persuade the Special Forces team member to not resign when he tour was up. The end result would be to lessen America's military capabilities since any replacement would require significant training before they were able to go out onto the field. With assistance from Iniquus, they were able to determine who was providing information to the Slovakian members who were located in the country. The action keeps you involved throughout the entire story. To find out how they were able to solve this mystery, then you need to read this book.
This book along with the other box sets will keep you entertained for quite awhile.
FBI Joint Taskforce Series: A World of Iniquus Romantic Suspense Mystery Thriller Anthology: Iniquus Security Action Adventure Boxed Set is by Fiona Quinn. This series consists of three books which star the FBI in these adventures. Having the three right together makes it much easier to have a continuation of the story as you can immediately go from book to book without having to hunt for the next one. This series is combined with several other series to create one very large series of books dealing with Iniquus. These are really good books and keep your attention.
These books are so entertaining! The characters are wonderful. I love the information included in the stories. I know it requires a lot of research. It adds such depth to the stories. And I learn things. The books have suspense, excitement, and some romance. Very enjoyable!
AAAAHHHHH!!!!! These are the kinds of characters I'd like to kick back and have a drink with ~ the kind who stay in your mind and don't leave! This was a 3-book pack, and I devoured it! If you love kick-ass women, sparkling wit and dialog, GREAT characters . . . . plan to spend the next few days with the men (and women!!) of Iniquus!
Most definitely not what I expected.FBI Steve Finley finally gets his match, but what a way to do it. Then a short, then a really good one for FBI Special Agent in Charge Damien Prescott has a heck of a mix with FBI, DIA, and Delta Force along with Iniquus.
Intricate, suspenseful, detailed, warm real characters with human emotions. You will fall in love with first book and by end page of third book it is saying goodbye to friend you will deeply miss. Quinn is one of the most talented mystery writers I have read. So many storylines but you never get lost. Fav character is Raine
I have really enjoyed all of the Iniquus stories, and they keep getting better. I wish that this series would have expanded more on the relationship side of the stories, instead of cutting the stories right after they finally get together. JMO! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
I have truly enjoyed these books. Let me start by saying Rowan is my new fav book boyfriend lol. I love this author. I love that she has a new series to follow. Fiona Quinn really knows how to get my attention and keep it. If you haven’t read any of her books yet...start now! I HIGHLY recommend
This is the first of the Fiona Quinn books that I have read, but they keep you interested, the plot continues in a straightforward manner, and you end up feeling like you are part of the series. I highly recommend least books.
Have read others by this author and knew what to expect, which all three provided. I did notice more wrong word errors and awkward spots than I generally expect with this author.
The book was like a movie! The scenes, people, and location was really easy to hear and see. The m ovations were crystal clear. I read a lot of Quinn's books and find them extremely well written and fun to read. Would highly recommend this one.
I'm so glad I clicked on Lynx box set. I had originally thought it had to do with a shape shifter stories. Imagine my surprise, been reading non-stop catching up on the whole series. Been telling all my girlfriends to read your books!!
FBI Task Force series is an awesome page turning series that has it all. Danger, betrayal, romance and characters that you will fall in love with. Fiona Quinn has not disappointed. Fabulous series!
The story from beginning to end touches your heart. We all know that our armed forces put their lives on the line for us. So many details - it is difficult to put the book down
Excellent timely plots great details and storytelling! Impressive real life envisioning of geopolitics and spycraft. True detailing of military life forces on marriages.
This was an amazing series to read for a second time. Everyone should read FBI Joint Taskforce Series. I look very the suspense, romance and adventure. It is great to have strong female leads in Fiona's books.
Raine and Damian are excellent undercover and it certainly shows in the FBI Joint Task Force series Fiona Quinn writes. Readers who like military books and books with plausible plots will enjoy this 3 book set.
I recently stumbled upon Fiona Quinn and I am thrilled. Military (current or former) men AND women, romance and page turning events. This three book set kept me on the edge of my seat.
What an exciting series. It makes you consider if it could actually happen in our world today. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and will be reading more.
