This is a quick but great story! I loved every second of it. I wish it was longer because I loved the characters so much.

Brittney is a plus size model and activist. She has encountered some trouble bringing to light horrible practices at a modeling agency. Her parents freak out and ask that Carter watch over her. Carter is willing to help them out. He is not prepared for the instant lust that he feels for her. He wants more than to just protect her. She wants more as well. Will he be able to keep her safe?

Britney is a plus sized model who has taken on a famous modeling company on how they force their models to take drugs to keep them skinny and able to work longer hours. Suddenly she receives threats at her home address. Her father Dennis, hires a family friend who owns his own security company. Carter drops everything to help out Dennis and his daughter Britney.

The moment Carter sees a picture of Britney, he knows that she will be his wife. But first they need to keep her safe. There is a lot of humour in this book, lots of sweet moments and of course lots of heat in the bedroom. This is a quick romance that you can read in a short amount of time, so super quick romances with lots of action are the best. I hope you enjoy reading this book as I did.

A quick and steamy read. Carter is asked by a friend to set up protection for his daughter when she finds herself in danger. Carter decides to do the job on his own and sparks are flying between this older man and younger woman. Intense and steamy. A good read.

Britney is a plus sized model she protests Chaleur Model Agency they give their models drugs to stay awake, work long hours and to starve themselves she had a brother who had a problem with drugs and now he’s gone, Britney has nearly one million followers on Instagram where she talks about what the modelling house is doing. Arriving home from another protest she walks through the door then she slips and falls over on her backside while she is talking to her father she has to call him because he worries about her and while her parents are fighting over the phone there is a note that was slipped under her door it says they know where she lives and the next time she pulls one of her stunts they will take matters into their own hands and she tells her father that something is wrong then her phone slips out of her hand and shatters.
Carter owns his own security company it’s doing very well and he plans to expand his business he already has 4 other branches and plans to open another company in L.A, suddenly the phone rings it’s Dennis his father’s best friend and he tells Carter that he needs his help his baby girl has been threatened so Carter says I’m on my way. Carter is given the key to Britney’s place she doesn’t know that he’s coming over and he lets himself into her apartment he see’s a picture of her and her family on the wall and Carter said that she’s a curvy goddess he’s not worried about keeping her safe but he is worried about being able to keep his hands to himself over the next two weeks. Another fantastic curvy story by Alexa Blue and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This was an awsome short read. Just the right length to loose yourself in, but not so long that your life backs up in the process. Alexa Blue, as usual, creates characters that are so easy to relate to: strong, confident, passionate, loving, protective, family based. They have both been faced with difficult issues and decisions in their pasts, but have come out stronger as a result.

Carter has been asked by a family friend to look after his daughter since she has been threatened by a major cooperation. Carter willingly takes on the task, and falls for Britney the moment he lays eyes on her. While she is initially reluctant to accept his help, she is also hesitant to have him leave. She is totally taken with him too.

They dance around their attraction for weeks while Carter is determined to keep her safe. When they finally feel free of her tormenters, he feels like he can relax and truly express how he feels. But wait...not so fast. There is still trouble lurking in the wings for them.

Will Carter be able to secure their safety, and his own HEA? Or will outside forces push them apart right as they were at the finish line? Get your copy today to find out. While I did receive this book as an ARC, that in no way effected my opinion or my review.

This second story in the series revolves around Britney and Carter. Britney is a beautiful, curvy young woman that uses social media as a way to promote body positivity and having confidence in yourself whatever your size. She has hundreds of thousands of follows that have been supporting her as she has been taking on one of the lead modelling agency’s in New York that use drugs to help their models maintain their size. After her own family have lived with the tragic results caused by addiction, this is close to Britney’s heart. After returning home from a protest outside their head office, Britney begins to receive threats. Carter runs a successful security company and is a good friend of Britney’s dad. As a victim of threats himself, he is more than happy to help out and provide 24/7 protection. He had no idea how mutually attracted to each other they would be. His work is his life, and meeting Britney makes him realise just how much he should be living. The story is well written, the characters well developed and believable. This is another excellent short and steamy read involving a beautiful curvy woman and a sexy older man.

So this was a free ARC copy from one of my favorite erotica authors to read for , plus booksprout for my voluntary honest review of this short erotica read.And once I started reading I just couldn't stop til I finished it, and I thought it was a great read and really worth reading .Has great storyline and great characters to read about to, plus its sizzling hot for a short read.*Spoilers Tag- After speaking out against a large moldelling hous for abusing the girls , shes finds a threatening letter uder her door.And her dad decides to hire his friend to protect his little girl from danger., and she told him that she could take care of herself. And when they meet they both want each other at first sight, but try to fight it.*So if you want more go get great short erotica read and enjoy it, its so worth it.ENJOY And I always look forward to seeing more from this author in the future because I really enjoy reading her short erotica reads!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the His Curvy Craving series. In this book, Britney is a plus size model who protests against the modeling agencies using very skinny models and drugs to keep them skinny. Britney has made an enemy of one agency and is now being threatened. When her father learns about the threats, he hires Carter to be Britney's bodyguard, only he doesn't tell her. When Britney returns home, she finds Carter in her apartment and hits him in the head with a pan. Carter tries to explain why he is there and Britney wants him to leave, but he refuses. Britney is also very attracted to Carter, so she sets rules that he has to keep his distance and keep his clothes on. Carter is very attracted to Britney and knows she will be his wife. Carter has never thought about settling down and now he met Britney, he knows she is the one for him, he only has to convince her. I really liked this story. I liked Carter and how protective he was of Britney. Carter was older and able to care for Britney and keep her safe. Well done.

“Security Needs” is the insta-love short story romance of Britney and Carter. Britney is a plus size model and blogger. Carter runs his own security company. When Britney’s safety is threatened her father asks family friend Carter to keep her safe. Carter is attracted to Britney from the beginning and his intentions are honorable. However, he is also dealing with a threat to his own personal safety. Will they both survive to have a future together?
This is a good story, more sweet than spicy. Carter is definite BF material - supportive, protective and romantic. The story also touches on themes of self-acceptance and forgiveness. I liked the way Britney resolved things with her mom. The characters are relatable and the issues presented are current. This was a good way to spend an afternoon - romance with a little suspense!

This is a contemporary romance with Britney using modern technology & her followers being her army to best out injustice. Her father's so worried he hired security Carter. Carter has his own business that is expanding. Two independent people that have hearts of gold. They both helping others. The relationship....I mean wow - everyone dream. Worthy of book boyfriend - Carter is impressive. V2 S2 Steamy, Sexy and Sweet who could ask for more? Don't miss this story. I am looking forward to the next story. Author Alexa Blue did an excellent job, this is so well written. Her ability to give perspective to repair toxic relationship - simply beautiful!

Security Needs is the second book in the His Curvy Craving series. Britney Darcy is a plus size model, blogger and advocate for cleaning up the nastiness that occurs in the modeling world. Chaleur House is abusing their models and Darcy has been arranging and taking part in protests exposing the agencies abuses. Now she is getting threats which she doesn’t take seriously. Her dad does and hires Carter Buffet who has a security company to look after Britney. When she finds out she is not happy until she meets Carter! She and Carter fall into a daily routine and they also begin to fall for each other. Even with a 12 year age difference Carter knows he has found the one! It’s great watching the way the two of them fall for each other. Really good plot, fun characters and an enjoyable read!

This is another great fun read and the second in this current series The author has other sets of four books do yourself a favour and read them. All of her books are long enough to give you a great story but short enough for the busy lives we lead.

In this latest offering Brittany a plus size model has taken a modelling agency to task about the fact that they make their models take drugs to remain skinny they are not happy and they are threatening her Her father Dennis asks family friend and security company owner Carter to protect his daughter. When Carter meets Brittany he has no trouble at all protecting her in fact he never wants to let her go she is his. He may be twelve years older than her but he knows she will be his wife he just has to keep hr safe. There are quite a few laugh out loud moments in this book as well as enough steam to keep you satisfied.

This was a sweet steamy quick read romance. Britney is an activist, plus size model and social media influencer. She organizes a protest against a modeling agency in New York giving drugs to their models to stay awake and thin. They send her threatening notes so her father hires Carter to protect her. Carter owns a security firm and moves in to protect her. He instantly knows she is the girl for him. She walks in to her apartment, thinks he is a bad guy and hits him on the head with a pot of oatmeal. Their attraction quickly grows and once the threat against her is nuetralized, he acts on it. A threat from his past has to be taken care of then they have their HEA.

A charming easy read. A short but delightful romance story. A steamy love affair between Carter and Britney. A love-at-first-sight novel, well almost, if one discounts the blue swelling Carter receives from Britney's frying pan on their first meeting. This is a very pleasant book, which will warm the cockles of your heart. All the ills in the story are righted, which is what we are all trying to do with our own lives. The book is given a very positive resolution that all readers of romance novels love. Our lovers get their HEA that is lovely to read as there is hope for curvy girls the world over. Good editing enhanced the experience.

We so often get caught up in our every day and don't have enough time to sit down with a long novel. I love Alexa's writing style and "Security Needs" did not disappoint. What is their not to love the experienced older ab loaded alpha sent to look after the curvilicious crusader BBW. No weak damsels in distress here. So what happens next well my favourite things - action, romance and steamy sheets. no spoilers here just if I were you I would definitely add this to your guilty pleasures quick read list.

Britney is a plus size model and a very active activist. She's upset about how the modeling agencies in NY are giving drugs to the models to keep them awake and thin. The agencies start to send her threatening notes and her father decides to hire Carter's security firm to protect her. After Carter meets Britney he knows that this is more than a job to him. It's personal and he's going to keep his girl safe. The characters are great together. Once everything settles down then that's when Carter makes his move on Britney. Insta love at it's best. Somebody call security! Britney is a plus size Curvy model. She also is an activist for those who are on the Lena side and certain model agencies that are not ethically sound. Because she does not take a threatening note seriously, her father takes matters into his own hands. Enters Carter. Carter has his own security agency and is asked as a personal favor to guard Britney‘s body. His immediate attraction to guarding Britney‘s body turns into a whole Lotta mishaps and tracking down whoever is after her. HeA, unexpected events of limited clothing. Security needs is book two in the ‘’his curvy craving’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Britney’s father worries about her safety, he hires her a bodyguard. What Britney didn’t expect is to be attracted to her new shadow.
The chemistry between Britney and Carter is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns hot and steamy with emotions that makes you wanting more. Brittany going head to head protesting about models drugs needed for longer hours, and malnourished Brittany has been sent threatening letters. Carter was asked by Brittany father to come and protect his daughter, Carter was on the next flight.

This was a cute little story with a positive message of 'You're Beautiful'.
Ft. Hot CEO, and body positivity SM influencer.

I wasn't bored for a second, but I felt that whenever FMC was supposed to deliver a strong response, it wasn't brawny enough, especially when her mom was so easily convinced for her daughter's choices, it should've been given some more time and more strong retorts.
Same with the threats, they should've up-ed their game a bit and made the threats more threatening?? and not slip notes like immature shits? (which they are but you get my point. Right?)

I really enjoyed this story. Britney is a model and an activist. She starts getting threats and her father calls a friend for help. Carter is a security expert and decides that he will protect Britney until she is safe. When he meets her, he figures out that she is meant for him. Britney and Carter's relationship develops very quickly with instalove, but plenty of romance. Loved the happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book.

I loved these characters! Britney is an Independent, blogger, lovable, curvy woman. Carter is no nonsense, who runs a security business and is hired by Britney's dad to protect her. Carter is all about business and Britany is more of a free spirit. This was just a great story, the author lets you get to know the characters and then begins to weave the story. It was a page turner and I couldn't put it down. It is a great read and you won't be disappointed! I loved it and will read it again.

Alexa Blue has quickly become one of my favorite authors and Security Needs is a prime example why. It is book 2 in the His Curvy Craving Series. Britney is a plus sized model, activist sand social media celebrity. After exposing a premier modeling agency for their abuse of their models, Britney begins receiving threatening messages. Her dad hires Carter as her bodyguard. One look at Britney and Carter knows he has found his future. There is no denying Britney and Carter have explosive chemistry. Definitely recommend!!!

She's angered big model agencies by protesting their forcing drugs and unhealthy living on their models to keep them thin. When she gets threats her father calls his friend, Carter who owns and runs a security firm. He agrees to guard Britney. And once he meets her, he's guarding her for life. Sweet ending.

The story is simple but pleasant to read, with endearing characters. There are some twists, but they are predictable. The whole is rather sweet.
Britney is a big size model who opposes a modeling agency that provides drugs to its employees to keep them lean. She is then threatened, and her father then hires Carter to protect her.
