Sienna Hensley loves everything about the Christmas season, from hanging decorations to the cozy get-togethers with her family. Despite being part of the well-known Bennett family, Sienna is determined to first gather experience before joining their business. Her job at Statham department store is perfect for that. But her new boss, Winston, is going to be a slight problem. He is broody, dictatorial, and sexy as all get out.
For Winston Statham, Christmas is just a reminder of the deadline looming ahead this year. Saving the store his parents built is his top priority. At least until he finds his branding manager singing and dancing to carols while hanging twinkling lights in his favorite meeting room.
He can’t get the sexy sway of her hips out of his mind…or her determination to make him smile. When he asks her to stay overtime, work isn’t the only thing on his mind. Before long, he’s willing to do anything for one more kiss, one more night together. Winston falls so hard for Sienna, that he can’t imagine ever letting her go.
But with his future up in the air, can he promise her anything more than an unforgettable Christmas season?
If you're looking for a sweet and steamy Christmas read, look no further. This is a fantastic work place romance that will surely put you in the holiday spirit. Your Christmas Love is the first book I've read by Layla Hagen and as soon as I finished I picked up the first book in the Bennett series to read soon, because I loved this family!
Sienna is the head of the marketing department at Statham department stores and it's the perfect job for her. Especially at this time of year. She loves the Christmas season and the main department store in San Francisco is known for it's holiday decor. Everyone at Statham is a bit on edge, as their new boss, Winston Statham will be coming to work at their office and he's a bit demanding. Even a grinch some would say... but if anyone can warm him up, it's Sienna.
Winston Statham is taking over his parent's business since they've retired. He may seem a bit hard, but everything he does he does for a reason and he has a big heart. Even though he's a bit on the bossy side, he and Sienna click. I loved watching them get to know each other and seeing their attraction grow. They both want what's best for the company and work together so well.
"Winston, you're being bossy again." "Always."
One of my favorite things about this story was seeing the softer side of Winston that Sienna brought out. They were a great couple and I adored them together. I also loved all the scenes with Sienna's family. Especially her younger siblings. It was great, and honestly, this whole book left a big smile on my face.
This audio book was narrated by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell and they did a great job voicing Sienna and Winston. This was easy to listen to, fast paced, and kept my attention throughout. I would definitely recommend the audio book.
If you're looking for a heart-warming Christmas-time romance that has the perfect amount of sweetness and sexiness this is the book for you. It's also family oriented which I love. I can't wait to read more about Sienna's family in Hagen's Bennett series.
I don’t want to keep you on your toes. I just want to keep you.
I’d always thought that knowing you’ve found the one was going to take time... But this felt so perfect that I was close to bursting with happiness. I didn’t even know it was possible to feel so much joy. It was like a physical force, like a pressure from the inside out.
My Review:
Written in my favorite dual POV, this sweet and sexy book was a refreshing angst-free delight. What a relief to read upbeat and pleasurable storylines rather than constant conflict and yo-yo push/pull on and off relationship drama. This sexy couple brought out the best in each other in the boardroom, bedroom, and every environment in between. The storylines were engaging, delectably steamy, and easy to follow while populated with characters who were thoughtful, smart, hardworking, and highly likable. Sigh, I adore Layla Hagen.
Audio/Ebook Review: Your Christmas Love (The Bennett Family) by Layla Hagen
The Bennetts are back to chase away the chill and bring a little love to your heart. I love this family and was so glad to catch up with the clan that started my love affair with Layla Hagen books. Your Christmas Love gives a blast from the past, a chance to shine. Sienna Hensley is all grown up and ready to make her mark on the world. Just as she gets ready to make her move, her heart has to get in the way. Mixing business with pleasure was not in the plan. Will she risk her heart or follow her dreams? It felt like no time had passed. I am just as enamored today as I was back when I picked up my first Bennett novel.
Fin dalle prime pagine, Sienna cerca i regali, addobba casa e ufficio, prepara la festa aziendale e partecipa a quelle in famiglia.
“A te cosa sembra?”
4,5 Sterne
Christmas Story + Bennett Family = Pure Perfection!!!
Those two things are my absolute favorite things to read about in a book. I was so excited to see that Layla Hagen was releasing a christmas novel, but then to find out we would be back in the Bennett Family world….I was beyond thrilled!!!
This book was everything I wanted and so much more. I was not disappointed!! I was just thrilled to be back with the Bennett’s….I have missed this family saga!!!
This story truly put me in the christmas spirit. I thought the storyline was fun, engaging and totally entertaining. There was the perfect mix of sass, humor, love and romance. This book wasn’t filled with a lot of drama. It truly is a heartwarming christmas story. I thought the flow and pace of the story was perfect.
Your Christmas Love is a standalone novel that is built into the Bennett Family Series. It is a holiday full length novel told in Dual POV. It truly is a standalone, you don’t have to read any of the other books in this series to enjoy this story. But let me say this…..you should still read the Bennett Family Series…..it is so good!!!
In this story we follow Sienna and Winston’s journey. I will be honest and say I didn’t remember who Sienna was and how she fit into the Bennett family, but once I looked back and figured out who she was it all clicked in. Sienna is Victoria’s younger sister (Victoria is from Book 5 Your Tempting Love) When we first meet Sienna back in book 5, she is a teenager that her sister has taken over raising since their parents passed away. Now this book is set a couple years later and Sienna is a 25 year old woman determined to make her own way in this world. The Bennett family has been trying to recruit Sienna to work for their family business for years, but she is determined to get the experience she needs and working at Statham department store gives her the perfect opportunity to do that. She loves Christmas and everything to do with it, so she is thrilled to be put in charge of the stores Christmas season. Winston is the son of the owners of Statham stores and has been put in charge of them all now that his parents have retired. When the store in San Francisco is in trouble, Winston moves there and puts a rebranding in place…..with the help of Sienna. So as these two start to work overtime getting things ready for the rebranding and Christmas, they grow closer. Can these two get their HEA?? Read this enjoyable read to find out.
I loved that we got to see the Bennett clan again in this book. They are up to their old tricks and add some comedy to this story. I love when this family gets together, it always gives me the warm fuzzies and puts a HUGE smile on my face.
I would 100% recommend this book to ever romance reader out there. If you love an office romance that focuses around the Christmas season, then this is a book you need to read this year!!!
"I was not attracted to this man. He was moody and... my boss."
Your Christmas Love is seriously my favorite book by Layla Hagen to date! I simply could not get enough of this story! It hit all my feel good hallmark Christmas vibes on the head! I have been longing for some more Bennett family and this book delivered just that! It had all my favorite characters and even a few new ones. Sienna and Winston was absolutely dreamy together. They took you on a magical Christmas journey that you want to tell all your friends about. I love office romances and this book is by far one of my new favorites. If I had any complaints it would be that I was by no means ready for it to end. I could have kept reading about these two for many more books! Their chemistry is some of the best I have read. It sizzled from your kindle, while capturing you with it's passion. Every book this author writes draws me in a little more each time. I can not wait to see what she has in store for us next!
"I needed to claim every inch of her, mark her as mine so she'd never doubt that she belonged to me."
Sienna was one of those heroines you couldn't help but love. She was energetic, sassy, and passionate about everything she did. Her character gave off this light, easy feel that kept you enthralled with the story. I also found her character easy to relate too and connect with. Her love for Christmas was contagious and was just what I needed this close to the Holiday season.
"It was impossible to be near him and not be completely consumed by him"
Winston is my favorite of Layla's hero's to date. For real y'all, he's mine. I'm calling dibs now! He was absolutely dreamy and EVERYTHING! I honestly could not think of a more perfect man. Every word out of his mouth oozed charm. I have never swooned so much in my life. I even loved the grumpy side to Winston. Because even at his most crabby his character still somehow managed to be so stinking cute.
"I don't want to keep you on your toes, I just want to keep you."
*5 STARS* If you are looking for: A Moody Boss ✔ Office Romance ✔ Christmas Cheer ✔ All the feels ✔ Then I absolutely recommend this book for you!
Another great story. Sienna is connected to the Bennett family through her sisters marriage to one of the Bennett men. Winston is Sienna's boss who is going through a major business hitch and is grumpy, bossy and really very lovable. Winston and Sienna have worked together without actually meeting...…. until now. This story will certainly keep your attention and certainly won't disappoint.
Sienna knows her new boss is about to descend upon their store and she can't say she's thrilled about it. Nervous, yes. Thrilled? Eh. Not exactly. Winston's not been particularly warm in their emails to date, and she's worried what affect he'll have on the company morale. What she certainly was not prepared for was how gorgeous he was, nor how her traitorous body would react to his very nearness. But, she can, and will, resist her new boss because she has better things to worry about than her attraction to him. They need to turn the family department store around before the board decides to do something awful. And come on, it's Christmas! Too bad Winston appears to be more Scroogy than cheerful Santa.
But, as they start to work together, Sienna sees a different, softer, more vulnerable side of her boss, and suddenly that resistance erodes faster than Santa makes it down the chimney. Could Winston be her Christmas gift this year?
This is absolutely the perfect way to get even the most Grinchy of all Scrooges in the mood for the holidays. It's sweet, it's heartwarming, and it's more than a little sexy. Winston is the perfect hot boss once he drops his hardass demeanor, and Sienna is the perfect person to bring him to his knees. If you like spice with your holiday cheer, I highly suggest you download your own copy of Your Christmas Love today!

This book was one of the most boring things I’ve read in a long time. DNF’d at 52% - but giving 2 stars because maybe it’s a “me” issue and I reserve 1 star for manwhores and cheating.
I didn’t feel any chemistry at all and I thought so many things were unrealistic. The heroine is 25 years old but is an interim VP and invited to present to the Board by the H because she’s just sooo great. This is ridiculous and although I’m ok with some mental gymnastics, this was just too dumb. It just would never happen. I also thought the H came on way too strong in the office and it wasn’t a fun boss/employee trope - it veered straight into creepy boss using his position of power to coerce a young female employee. Or the whole Xmas party…doing it just before Xmas is too stressful, so let’s do it on Black Friday…in retail? Again, just stupid things like this piled on and ruined the whole story.
Lots of characters from other books in the series…if you haven’t read them (like me) then it takes you completely out of the story.
The last thing I’ll mention is word choice…in a span of less than 3 pages the heroine refers to the H as “sinful”…and I hate that word. It sounds old-fashioned and I can’t imagine a 25 year old thinking this at all. Double checked and it’s used 9 times in this novel. 9!!!
Anyway, I found this to be a total snooze but maybe others would like it.

As much as I enjoyed the main characters Sienna and Winston and their families, I’m going to have to say this is not ever going to be one of my favorite Layla Hagen books, even with its Christmas romance theme. Let’s start with the fact that this is another contemporary romance that seems oblivious to the “Me Too” movement and the drive to end sexual harassment in the workplace. Winston our hero is the heir and C.E.O. of Strathan’s, a major department store chain for which Sienna our heroine is the interim V.P. of Branding as well as seemingly being involved in running just about everything else in the store. After working with Sienna long distance for months via email etc. Winston arrives at the San Francisco home office based in the chain’s flagship store and comes face to face with Sienna. He’s immediately smitten by the effervescent, brilliant and stunningly beautiful Sienna. So, ignoring all workplace propriety and sexual harassment laws, Winston begins a full court press to win Sienna’s affections with some serious flirting. The fact that Sienna in no way attempts to rebuff his advances doesn’t excuse the fact that as her boss, he shouldn’t be coming on to her. She works under him which means he shouldn’t be trying to get her physically under him. It was a bit surprising to me that no one in Sienna’s family, not even her older sister Victoria who had raised her had an issue with her “doing” the boss. In truth they all seemed to be cheering her on. As wonderfully romantic as their love story is, I’m not sure in this day and age there’s still a place for sexy boss-employee workplace-based romances. As a man I’m a bit surprised that female authors are still writing and female readers are still devouring this trope with no qualms with the sexual harassment implications. The pace of the romance felt choppy or uneven. One of the things I did enjoy about their romance or the books dialogue was the characters not referring to sex as fucking. A well placed use of “Fuck me” or “I’m going to fuck you” can be erotic but when the characters constantly refer to what they are doing as fucking it just seems crass and not the least bit romantic. Sienna was very sassy and passionate and confident during naked times and for me a guy, that made her all the more attractive as a character. The fact that seemingly from the start Winston recognized how special she was and wanted her for more than just sex won him over for me too. I absolutely love romantic series with big, loud, loving intrusive families. I’ve read Hagen’s The Callahan series and truly enjoyed it. In that series she often references The Bennetts, the Callahan’s cousins whom she built a series around prior to her Callahans series. In this series because Sienna’s much older sister Victoria (who raised her and her two much younger adopted siblings when their parents died), is married to Christopher Bennett, the author uses the connection to constantly bring members of the Bennett family into the story. Normally I love seeing old characters I enjoyed in previous books return to the current story. Maybe it’s because I’ve never read the Bennett series so I never got that sense of seeing old friends, but it felt like they were mentioned so often to try and encourage readers to purchase their books more than to just give a family feel to the story. As far as the plot goes, it was totally predictable beyond what I consider normal for this genre. This being a Christmas story by nature it was fairly low on angst with plenty of happy, romantic and holiday familial feels, and I was fine with that. It just wasn’t difficult to see the solution to Winston’s big problem and the future role Sienna was going to play in it. The dialogue for the most part was fun and witty although I did get a bit tired of hearing how Winton’s masculinity and dominance rolled off of him. I half expected this to turn into a dom/sub sexual relationship. Thankfully that didn't happen. I’ll give this holiday romance a solid 3 stars but I can’t in good conscience go any higher than that.
Loved Sienna and Winstons story and her love of Christmas! What a great way to catch up on one of our favorite families and jump starting our Christmas spirt! Thanks for giving us more insight into the Bennett family... can’t wait for more!
I really enjoyed this book. It had everything I like in a Layla Hagen book.... Interesting characters, likeable and endearing. Lots of sweet romance and sexiness. Main characters who talk things out with each other like a real couple should...... Loyal and supportive family and friends...... Unusual storyline with a very satisfying and happy ending!!!! I highly recommend this book if you want a engrossing read that leaves you with a smile on your face. 😁
Three chapters in and my head is spinning. The dialogue is way too short to be realistic, the timeline jumps too fast and the romance aspect is honestly boring.
The Perfect Christmas Treat! Winston And Sienna's Story Is Sweet And Super Sexy With An Infusion Of Christmas Spirit.
Sienna Hensley was orphaned at seventeen; her older sister Victoria became guardian to her and her siblings when their parents died. When Victoria married Christopher Bennett, they all became part of the tightly knit Bennett clan, a family famous for their number one jewelry line and other business ventures. With a failed relationship behind her, Sienna hopes Pippa Bennett-Callahan, notorious for her matchmaking success, will set about putting those skills to use on her.
Sienna, now twenty-five, is a people person. Smart, empathetic, and forever the optimist, she has a passion for life - especially for Christmas! After two years at a previous job, she began work at Statham Stores one year ago as a branding junior. Her superior's maternity leave has her taking over branding VP duties in the interim, but she quickly proves herself more than capable. She has worked closely with the famously difficult new boss, the cold and distant Mr. Statham, for months via phone on a plan to revamp the online store. Although they argue frequently about the plan, their work is very productive.
Winston Statham, thirty, is impatient, demanding, and brilliant. He is moving from the Seattle office, from which he has worked in the months since he took over his parents' business, back to San Francisco, Statham's flagship store and the one he grew up in. He watched his parents run and build their international department store chain in the San Francisco store that once housed their office.
Although Winston worked after college in the banking industry to gain valuable experience and better prepare him to take over the chain, he now regrets not accepting his parents' offer three years earlier. His parents had retired and left the company under the leadership of his general manager. But since taking over, Winston discovered that the company had struggled those three years, and he isn't yet certain how much of the damage is permanent. Responsibility for the employees and their livelihood weighs heavily on his shoulders.
When Winston and Sienna meet in person for the first time, they are both surprised to discover instant chemistry. Winston needs to work closely with Sienna on a rebranding campaign to save the store, but still finds himself making excuses to see her. Her happiness is infectious. Meanwhile, Sienna discovers that underneath Winston's grumpy exterior is a passionate man trying to do right by his employees. They try to resist their insane chemistry, but soon find themselves falling hard. Yet with Statham's future unknown, they both know that their own futures are in question. The couple eventually earns a well-deserved HEA.
Winston and Sienna's story is a sweet and super sexy romance set in the Bennett world. Infused with holiday spirit and written with a realistic vibe, it highlights the value of family relationships. The POV alternates between Winston and Sienna. It is well written; my review copy had a few errors that I presume were cleaned up in the released version. The plot is nicely developed given the length. I appreciated that there was no unnecessary drama. The focus remains on the Statham stores, the developing romance, and family. I would have enjoyed it if the story were lengthened and more detail added leading up to the end - because I didn't want the story to end! The characters are well-defined. Weston and Sienna both feel very real, and their families are complex and delightful. I rate this book 4.5 stars.
I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Your Christmas Love The Bennett Family Layla Hagen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What’s better than a Bennett Family story? An added Bennett Family Christmas story, with an extra, I’d actually forgotten about. I had to go back to fund where Sienna Hensley fit in, and alas this story gave all the background so you could actually enjoy it as a stand-alone holiday romance, but hello why wouldn’t you start with the all brooding sexy Bennett boys, and their strong smart sisters. I have adored all of the Bennett’s and the Connor families, and I was devastated when they ended but happiness was this story right here… Your Christmas Love is everything Layla is famous for writing, sexy men, alpha to trot, strong women who make there mark not only their men but the readers.
Winston Statham, fit in so well to this family dynamic, he’s a company owner, bad attitude, grumpy and sexy all in one hunk of manliness… Move over Sebastian, Winston out to steal your crown for alpha bossiness. He’s all business now, no time for fun, until a singing and dancing Sienna steals his breath, and his life. There chemistry between Sienna and Winston is obvious from the first meeting and in typical Layla style, you don’t have to walk t long for the sexy times to heat up. I loved hat I wasn’t drawn out, and I didn’t want to put it down, how Dare life get in the way… but alas I loved everything about Winston and Sienna, I’d love more of the extended Bennett Family, everyone is part of their crazy world and with done persuasion will fit in.
As a member of a big families it, I understand the dynamics that plays when a new person comes into the mix. I loved to laugh about their antics, the overdramatised threats and all that sexiness, but this time I got the Bennett’s and Winston Statham.
Sienna is handling the Marketing and Branding for Stratham Department Stores and has learnt so much from her boss even if they haven’t worked in the same location yet. Her ultimate goal is to work for the Bennett Enterprises in the jewellery division but in the meantime she wants to gain as much experience and knowledge as she can.
Winston has taken over the family business and is working hard to ensure that the first store they opened remains open. The previous management have damaged the store’s bottom line and he knows how his parents feel about this store and doesn’t want to disappoint them.
Winston is under a lot of pressure and comes across to others as cold and unfeeling but as Sienna gets to know him she realizes that there is much more to him than she thought. Will they be able to find a way to save the store and still be together when the dust clears?
This is a sweet and sexy story about love and family that is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. Not only do we get to watch the relationship between Winston and Sienna unfold but we also get to catch up with other characters we know and love. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought the narrators did a great job on bringing not only Winston and Sienna to life but all the secondary characters as well.
I listened to this book on audio. Your Christmas Love is the perfect story to put you in a festive mood. Sienna is a branding VP who is now working side by side with her boss, Statham Department Store president Winston, after months of him telecommuting. Winston is a bit broody and arrogant as a boss, and with good reason: He's got the future of his family's company resting on his shoulders. He only has a few weeks to figure out how to save the store from closing, so is he really in any position to offer Sienna anything more than being colleagues?
There is a really nice progression to their relationship, and Sienna grounds and calms Winston in a way that he so desperately needs. The characters are brought to life vividly by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell -- and I am totally in love with Joe's sexy, sexy voice!
There are a lot of appearances by the couples from the other Bennett Family books -- having not read any of those, I was a little lost in trying to keep them all straight. Sienna is the sister of Victoria, who is married to Christopher Bennett. But for fans of this series, I'm sure this is a great continuation of the family and their legacy, especially once you get to the HEA.
I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
Sienna Hensley loves Christmas season, but her new boss’s grumpiness is bringing everyone down. She gets to know (and love!) Winston Stratham more as they work late nights together and she finds out that the reason for the broodiness and crabbiness is because he carries weight of the world on his shoulders trying to keep the store open. Will they be able to keep the business alive and get their HEA?
This is one fun, sweet, and sexy office romance with well-written, relatable characters. I love how Sienna pushes back on Winston when he tries to boss her around.
I haven’t read (or listened) to any of the other books in this series, and I like how it didn’t feel like I was missing a part of the story.
Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell did a great job narrating. Maxine Mitchell does male voices really well!
Your Christmas Love is a contemporary holiday office romance written and recorded in dual first-person POV. It’s a standalone that ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.
I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
All the Stars! A Delight HAGEN IS AT HER BEST Winston is very bossy Scroogy Cinderella
Your Christmas Love may be a holiday story, but it is classic Hagen and I loved every word. Yes it’s sexy and fun and just the right amount of whatever we call those Bennett family moments that bring us back over and over.
Hagen has a great reverse Cinderlla/Scrooge story here. Winston doesn’t want to be such a grump, but the stakes are soooo high for him, he can’t help it. Sienna was the perfect foil and an amazing independent woman. READ IMMEDIATELY. Quit reading and one click this true holiday romance that hits all the notes.
Hagen is not a new to me author. But this story is ridiculously addicting as are Sienna and Winston. I thought of them all day hours after finishing. The rest of the players are all there, and I love Winston’s mom.
The cover is just perfect, it’s one of her best.❤️👄💯💯💯
I was sent a ARC copy of this book for a honest review. I have been reading Layla Hagen’s books for a while now. She has quickly become one of my favorite romance authors. I was so excited to hear about this book when she announced it. The 2 main characters have so much chemistry it was hard for me to put the book down. One of the main things I love about this book is that it reunited me with the Bennett Family which I have grown to love since the first book in the series. Don’t get me wrong I love the Conner family also but the Bennett’s were my first true love. This Book is about Sienna (Victoria’s sister who married Christopher Bennett) and Winston Statham who has taken over running A chain of Statham Department stores from his retired parents. This is a wonderful romance story from start to finish. I love the humor in the authors books. This book with make you laugh and swoon. I highly recommend this book.
Reading one of Layla's books (especially one involving the Bennett family) is like coming back home and snuggling up in your favorite throw. Your Christmas Love reunites us with our favorite Bennett siblings and their families for the holidays. Sienna is working overtime with her handsome boss Winston who has recently relocated to San Francisco to save his family's flagship store. What neither of them expected was their mutual attraction to one another. What transpires is a steamy romance full of love, family, friendship and humor that Layla Hagan is well known for. I love that her characters are never afraid to be vulnerable with each other and are able to find love despite disappointment from past relationships. If you love romance with a happily ever after then Layla's books should definitely be at the top of your tbr pile!
I forgot how much I enjoy Layla Hagen's writing so I'm very thankful for the reminder I received by listening to Your Christmas Love! I listened to it strictly (as opposed to physically reading it as well) and I do wish that I had a ebook copy so that I could have gone back and forth, as I did find parts of the book a bit slow and I think my eyes could've sped up the process just a bit. Other than that, I loved Sienna and Winston grew on me. I enjoyed the office romance aspect of the story as well as the inclusion of the Bennett clan as a whole. But since I have read Your Tempting Love, I think my favorite part of the book (besides the steamy bits) was seeing a grown up Sienna and getting updates on Victoria, Christopher, Lucas, and Chloe. In fact, I hope that the author continues this tract and we get books about the youngest Hensley's at some point! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.
Winston has come taken over his family's Department Store in hopes of getting it back on track. The holiday season is a make or break time in retail so hopefully this season will be the best. Sienna has always loved Christmas but is worried the new boss is going to take the joy out of the holiday. Working together turns to sparks which turns into passion. But can Winston start a long term relationship knowing that the ax is about to fall? Can the true meaning of family turn things around just in time for the end of the season? As with all of the other Bennett books, Layla Hagen creates new characters and beautifully written storylines that the readers cannot help but fall in love with. Add in the Christmas flare and it can only be better. Enjoyable read!!
