This was a good overview of writing workshop. The author had some wonderful ideas that could be used in conjunction with the workshop program. I purchased it as a resource when working with pre service teachers. It is no substitute for the complete program, but a very good complement. I recommend it.

Reread again this year. Still think it's good. More for beginners
