Yay yay yay! This book is a great follow up to Jeremy and Audrey’s first book, A Love Letter Life. 💌 This book is full of creative ideas and tips to not just be in a relationship, but to pursue your significant other in fresh, fun ways. J+A share a lot of different things they have done in their dating relationship and now marriage that have brought them closer to each other. Maybe it’s because I’m in the same life stage as them (young family status 👨‍👩‍👦), but I really appreciated how they included so many simple ideas, and also ideas that involve their kids. I can’t exactly do a spontaneous surprise trip for my husband, but this book is a reminder that having a fun, exciting relationship doesn’t need the biggest or most expensive things. (They do have ideas for bigger trips, etc. if you’re looking for that too!) I recommend this book for dating and married couples as a resource for ways to pour into your significant other! 💜

This is a very fun book. So many books on marriage are heavy and heavy-handed. This was so fun and exactly what you would expect - Fun ideas to keep building a thriving relationship.

What an inspiring book! A great book to have from the moment you are dating your future husband or if you are engaged. This book is a great tool to help you be intentional about the love story you want to tell someday. A lot of useful tips and creative ideas that you can creatively make your own. From dating boundaries to family values everything is covered.
I highly recommend this book for all couples young and old.

I think this is a wonderful book for newlyweds. I thought they had some really great ideas that anyone could implement in their marriages. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they did in explaining communication between couples.

The book he cites, A Severe Mercy (which i also love) has Sheldon noting that his wife's death was "a severe mercy," and yet here we see this couple copying Sheldon and Davy. It begs the question, why was Davy's death a severe mercy? Is their relationship to be 100% emulated if Sheldon himself says it drew him away from Christ to some degree? I do think couples should avoid becoming too separate emotionally, but I also think that independence is a healthy quality of a strong marriage, that time apart builds topics of conversation, and that time together isn't the main portion or point of life, but rather a wonderful but smaller portion of life, varying with each couple and their unique ministries. ❤️

I wanted to love this book so much because how amazing A Love Letter Life was, however, it was just OK. I feel like they had some great ideas and questions to be asked, but being an avid listener to their podcast, social media accounts, watching LPBW, and reading their books... I felt like this book was what they always talk about. It was still a good book, but I didn't get too much 'new' information from them out of this book.

I thought some of the times were ok, but a lot focused around words of affirmation. I thought most of this book was trying to sell their couples journal. I thought a lot of the examples were not really relevant to the story.

This book was a quick read as I read it in a day!

Not bad. Pretty simple. Kind of generic. I don't like how they act like they've been married for a long time when it's been like 5 year or less at this point. In my opinion there first book was better but they were different books although some stories and tips did overlap. I liked how anyone could gain something out of this book and enjoy it even if they never saw little people big world on tv.

Loved this book. I have been married for almost 13 years now and I really enjoyed learning ways I could keep the marriage alive and interesting. These are all little things that we can do throughout the year or even things we can do annually that have a lot of meaning to them. It is the little things and how we can show each other we truly care in a personal intimate way. Highly recommend.

I read it on my own and then my husband and I read and discussed some chapters together during a road trip. It made for some really great conversations. Highly recommend for any stage of a marriage.

There were some bright moments in this book-- which were a little unexpected, as I decided 10% in (and before realizing who the authors were) that this was decidedly too religious for my taste. I did finish this, and I think there were some nice points made. But on the whole not my style.

I was pleasantly surprised this book. When I first flipped quickly though it in the bookstore I made fun of it. Some of their ideas for dates and things seem way out there (who can even FIND a tandem bike to ride together??), some things exaughsting trying to keep up with? And some ideas most other people just wouldnt have the money to do. However, I later found it at a discount store and decided to buy it for a friend about to get married because I did think they had some great ideas of what to think about when you first get married. Well I ended up reading the whole book before I gave it as a gift and found that even after almost 20 years of marriage there were tips I could apply and would even be willing to keep a copy for my kids one day. I DO highly recommend for couples getting married or newly married. I'd give it 5 stars for them. 4 stars if you have been married awhile. It was well written, an easy read, and very pretty. While I do believe this couple is more outdoorsy than my husband and I, and SUPER sentimental...there is still a lot to take away.
