This is a good children's Bible for beginner readers. The text is larger print and easier to read with only 3-5 lines of text per page. Coupled with the colorful illustrations, this makes for an approachable Bible for any young reader. Each of the Bible stories stand on their own, giving children exposure to the major Bible characters and events of the OT, Jesus' life, death, resurrection, up to the first church in Acts.

Oh what a delightful way to introduce children to God's Word! There are so many illustrated children's Bibles, but My Illustrated Bible for Beginning Readers is a favorite of mine. It really hits the mark! And I love that there is a special presentation page for gift giving.

The stories are clear and simple for beginner readers (and listeners) to comprehend, and the colorful illustrations are delightful!

The book contains 30 Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments. The stories showcase special Scripture messages that are engaging for 4-8 year olds as they learn to read short sentences.

With stories focusing on familiar Biblical people, from Adam and Eve to Jesus and His friends, children will learn and grow from example, and all while being entertained!
