This book is an amazing resource for young girls learning to develop a quiet time!! It is perfect to instill truth before the lies of middle school hit. The devotionals are very easy to read and even have a journal section and prayer at the end. I would recommend them to any girl from 7-12 and highly recommend for a Bible study!!! I wished I had this message when I was this age!

This is the perfect book for my 10 yr old. It really affirms that however she is feeling is normal and she may not understand what God wants from her but God loves her unconditionally. This book is perfect for reinforcing our daughter's confidence in her value and that she is LOVED!

This book has been so special not only for my daughter but also for me as a parent. The daily devotionals are short and sweet and we enjoy not only learning about scripture but tying it into real life. We really enjoyed the Living Cherished sections and prayers after each devotional which allows you to reflect on the reading then end with a prayer. This book has been a blessing and has allowed me and my daughter to spend time with God and with each other.

Loved and Cherished is the perfect devotional for your tween-early teen daughter. It’s beautiful and it feels as though it’s written by a sweet friend gently reminding you that you are loved just as you are. Truth after truth, each devotion reminding your daughter who she is in Christ. I like to read books with my girls and while this book is primarily a devotion that can be read alone on their own time, it can be read with them and provides some great conversation starters as it gives you a chance to draw out topics of conversation.

What a blessing to hear, feel, and know that we are loved and cherished! Isn’t this what we all want? Especially for pre-teens, as insecurities and uncertainties abound.

The book contains 3 distinct sections: I Am Loved, I Am Cherished, and I Am Secure. The two-page devotions are easy to read and correspond with common thoughts and concerns of young girls. Each day focuses on a Scripture verse, devotion, thought-provoking question (with space to write an answer) and a brief prayer.
I’ve always loved devotional books and would have really enjoyed this one when I was young. Although the book is marketed for girls 8-12, I feel it’s appropriate for teens as well.

Loved and Cherished is excellent for girls 8-16! My daughter and I enjoy reading the short lessons together, and we inevitability end up being promoted into deeper conversation/connection. Truly understanding our value and worth-that He loves and cherishes us-is so valuable and offers great security. I find myself encouraged, as well!
The book is well layed out and includes a Bible verse, short chapters that are written to the target audience and have relatable life examples, thought provoking questions, and a written prayer.
Lynn Cowell is a well established author to both women and tweens/teens, and Michelle Nietert is a LPC with many years of experience within all counseling genres, but has a special heart for tweens/teens. This co-authorship is golden, and the devotional easily gets 5 stars!

Lynn Cowell has a way with words and a heart for showing girls how loved they are. Loved and Cherished is a devotional that I know I will turn to over and over again with my teen. The bright colors and the easy to understand message each day capture her attention and help open her up to discussions. She is a little over the age this is geared toward since she is heading into high school but with so much social media coming at her each day I love that this is centering her and letting her know how loved and valued she is by God. My daughter is older but when I saw this book I went ahead and purchased it anyway. Let me just tell you that I fell in love with this precious book!! It is just perfect for girls, letting them know how much their heavenly Father loves and cherishes them. I believe the timing on this book is perfect for such a time as now and for in the future. I honestly can't imagine anyone not loving this book. There may be emotions that come with it, which is feeling the emotions of what it's like in finding out how much God does in fact love and cherish each one of us. I highly and strongly recommend this book to girls of all ages really. We are never too old to be reminded of God's love for us.

First, the book is BEAUTIFUL.. ANY girl would LOVE to have this as their own. It is so colorful, bright and cheery, I'd imagine anyone would be drawn to it, and want to read more than just one devotional a day.
Lynn and Michelle have created such a nice layout. They have a scripture, topical devotional and prayer. What a great way to help girls learn God's word, be encouraged and learn how to pray the verse into their own life!
It would be such a nice gift to give a young girl... I'd say, ages 8-16 years old!

Wow! I rarely leave a review on anything but my wish is that every tween/teen had a copy in her hands. I wish this book existed when I was that age! There is no sugar coating the stresses of real life and the anxieties that attack our young ladies and there is NO LOVE LIKE THAT OF GOD. This book resonates with my child and it's the first devotional that has (and we have used a lot!) and for that I applaud the authors. Do you want your child to feel confident in who she is as a masterpiece created by our Maker? Get this book!

Loved and Cherished is a timely devotional for tween girls to grow a deeper faith and relationship with God. Girls need to be reminded often of their godly beauty and who God created them to uniquely be. The tween years are hard, especially in the crazy world we are currently living. This devotional helps girls find their confidence in being themselves and to lean to God’s word to find truth, grace and support during the ups and downs in their lives. I highly recommend this devotional!

Loved and Cherished is a powerful and much needed devotional for girls to learn that God loves them so much. My daughter loved the daily scripture and entertaining stories. Each devotional has a Living Cherished challenge to help your daughter know that God sees her as cherished with activities to help with reflection and application. Their is also a talk with God section as well. This is one of the best devotionals that I have seen for my daughters.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the publisher. I gave it to my 13 year old grand daughter for her birthday. She liked that there were steps to do the devotion as well as the “meditation matters” section at the end. She also liked that the devotions were quick to read and still meaningful with space to answer a question or write her thoughts about the passage. She especially liked the pre-written prayers at the end of devotions. This book was A perfect fit for her busy schedule.

My daughter is 12, and she loves this book! She loved the summer online camp that Lynn and Michelle hosted to introduce the topics of this book to her and other girls around the globe. Now, she and I are using it for morning devotions during breakfast. Affirming, real, honest and encouraging. A wonderful book for moms and daughters to use together!

The content of this book is as lovely as its cover! Following a four-step pattern of Read, Reflect, Pray and Memorize Scripture, this well-written, well-thought out devotional teaches girls that they are chosen, cherished, worthy, and loved more than they'll ever know. This book belongs on every tween girl's bookshelf and in every church library.

As a mom with a 9 year old daughter, I am so glad to have this book! We read devotions each night before bed and this a wonderful book to go through together. It's faith based, addresses real life situations and drives home her intrinsic value and worth.

This is a wonderful resource for young girls. I love that this devotional reminds girls of their identity in Christ. They are loved, cherished, and God’s unique masterpiece! These are foundational truths that are important to instill in girls at a young age, so they can remember them through the teenage years. I bought two devotionals to read with nieces, so I recommend this for moms and daughters, grandparents and granddaughters, aunts and nieces, and small group leaders who influence and pour truth into a young girl.

An amazing devotional for young girls. My middle daughter is 7 and reads it every night, in fact she pre-reads it so she can add her own discussion questions after each chapter and insists that all members of the home sit for her to read it every night. I have all daughters and even the youngest (5) gets knowledge from this book. It’s practical and gives Faithbased guidance and encouragement for real life situations. Her nightly prayers continue to deepen and show maturity as she goes through this book. Highly, highly recommend.

Lynn and Michelle have created such a beautiful collection of the most important truths God wants our girls to know (and us, too!) Reading these devotions with my eleven-year-old daughter plants seeds of scriptures in her heart and opens the door fo us to have sweet conversations about her worth, identity and unique qualities all because of the God Who made her, loves her and cherishes her beyond measure! I can't imagine how much this would have meant to me if I had heard these truths and talked about them with my mom when I was a young girl! Highly recommend!!!!

My daughter and I have been going through Loved and Cherished and are loving it! Through their devotions, Lynn and Michelle speak lovingly into the issues tween girls face and help them understand they are enough because of God's love. Loved and Cherished would be perfect for the tween girl in your life.
