A great look at Dogfish Head's history to date. Great insights into how various projects came to be, with a more than generous look behind the curtain. For anyone passionate about the brand and all their offerings it's a definite must read
Excellent book--fascinating (the evolution of the business), educational (beer-making techniques, some including ingredients from various countries), intriguing (bios of all employees), admirable, fun and humorous, great layout with an abundance of engaging photos.
Interesting read on the trials and tribulations of the history of Dogfish. It was not an easy uphill climb for Sam, but he did not give up on his dream. Good read on a great beer empire!
I've fallen in love with Dogfish Head ever since I first watched Brew Masters, and this book encompasses it all. Sam's voice is front and center, which is a good thing.
A lot of the stories will sound familiar if you've already read "Brewing Up a Business" or "Extreme Brewing", but is doesn't matter: this is a lovely celebration of the off-centered brewery.
