Worth reading if you have a strong Abramelin bent or you plan on performing the 6 month Abramelin rite. Many don't like Gray for his Christian bias but as a ceremonial magician, he, in my opinion, gave out superior information than his contemporaries including Crowley. You just have to stop bad mouthing the guy and do the work. It speaks for itself. This is not one of his best works however it is worthwhile to those who are interested in doing their own thing instead of joining an established group.
Not awful. I wasn't aware of the Theosophical slant on this title when I picked it up used. If you can see past the strong moral nature of Dion Fortunes contemporary; this can be a useful asset for shadow work.
