A few biographies and general introduction to smuggling. Excellent starter book to get a feel for the topic.

A lot of detail in a short book.

although the author alludes to several.primary sources, his references are patchy and limited only to secondary literature.
it is engagingly written, and the author has a fine grasp of the geography of the region.
