I read this book many years ago, and have been trying to find it ever since. It contains one of my all time favorite scenes that I have ever read. After all these years, it was still a beautiful scene that spoke to my heart.
Another thing this book does well is explore the reality of conquered and conquering peoples. I appreciated the points of view and how it made me think about the past.
