Colonel William Darby returns from the war against Napoleon after his elder brother is Killed in a huntig accident.
There is a lot of catching up to do, including removing bad influences from the Estate. He then moves on to the next stage, and enters the artifical London wedding market to find someone that would suit himself.

Been following Mr. Egan. There were grammatical errors but it didn't affect my understanding of the story. As his style, very simple/basic narration, but much improved
