Heiress Willow Jackson didn’t do commitment. Her father was on his fifth…or maybe sixth…wife, so Willow had seen too often how lives could be destroyed by marriage and infidelity. But when she discovers that she’s inherited a house…from a grandmother her father hadn’t ever told her about, Willow is determined to learn more about this mysterious woman. What she wasn’t prepared for was the tall, intimidating man snapping at her from the doorway of the creepy house.
Cooper Adams stepped into Willow’s life, big and terrifyingly handsome in a scary, sexy way. He wasn’t ready for the intense awareness and yearning that she would provoke inside of him. And Willow definitely wasn’t prepared for the sweet, caring way that Cooper took care of his grandmother, showing her that men weren’t all idiots and jerks. But could Willow take a chance on Cooper? Did she dare to uproot her whole life, knowing that marriage and love were only temporary things?
Guilty Pleasures is the next book where we get to meet up close another of the Ladies of the Burling School! Up next is Willow Mills, daughter of a country musician who pretty much left Willow on her own. She made forever friends Tamara and Lana who were more family at the Burling School. Willow meets Cooper Adams in England where she has discovered that she was left a home by a grandmother she never knew about. Cooper’s grandmother and Willow’s were friends! Initially, Willow was only in England for a few days she is successful making internet craft how to videos and podcasts. She has a team depending on her in the states! Cooper is skeptical about her making money doing crafts since he is into financial markets. Cooper has convinces Willow to move her show to England and use the cleaning up of the house as her next project. The chemistry between Cooper and Willow is electric! Neither of them think that a relationship will work out but they are having a hard time keeping away from each other and decide to explore and see where things go. Both of them try unsuccessfully to deny that they are attracted to each other. Each of them have had horrible examples in their past of what love is, Willow’s father was married 7 times and Cooper’s mother had horrible luck with men. As result we watch 2 kindred souls who initially want nothing todo with relationships or marriage deal with strong attraction to each other.
You could say this book has a little humor in it because of what is found in the house that was left to the main character in this story. I call it humor. It is very well written by the author. The characters really connect very well. This is the second time I have read this book and for me to read a book twice, it must be a great read. I didn`t find any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of the story at all. I really connected well with all the characters. Loved Buddy big time.

This is the story of Willow, who is already known to us through the first two books of the 'The Ladies of The Burling School'. I highly looked forward to this book and perhaps that was the main reason when it slightly let me down. I didn't get the same feeling as the first book, especially. Nevertheless, this is a beautiful story of Willow, who has been emotionally abused since childhood by her father, and Cooper, who has his own scars from childhood. Interestingly, they meet because of their grandmothers, who used to be friends until Willow's grandmother was alive. Willow comes to check her inheritance, not realizing she would find love. With their issues and scars, this happily ever after wouldn't be smooth. How do they fight their attraction and how they find their own happily ever after, marks the rest of this beautiful novel.
As always, it was a pleasure to read another beautiful book from Ms Lennox. Looking forward to the next book in the series!
Excellent book from beginning to end. I loved every minute of this book, I couldn’t put it down. This series gets better with every book. Willow and Cooper are fantastic, I love it when you can hear the guys perspective. I pretty love everything Elizabeth writes and this book didn’t let me down. My one niggle is, the book appears to be written with the American audience in mind despite being set in the U.K. The language is wrong- sidewalks instead of pavements, we don’t have Raccoons, nor do our houses have screen doors but if you look past this it’s a great book.

A delightful, romantic story with a touch of mystery and lots of passion! Cooper is a charming and determined man who doesn't hesitate to go after what he wants, in this case, Willow. She is an independent and assertive woman, who is afraid to fully give her heart to him. I really enjoyed this page-turning romance, as all of Elizabeth Lennox's books!

This is the 4th book in the Burlington School series and features Willow, independent & successful, who only discovers she has a grandmother in England after being left an inheritance in her will. She meets Cooper who is the grandson of her grandmothers best friends. Both have abandonment issues but can’t stay away from each other. Another quirky, witty romance from an author who never disappoints

Love the book! The chemistry between Cooper and Willow is instant! Neither of them think that a relationship will work out, but they are having a hard time keeping away from each other. They try unsuccessfully to deny that they are attracted to each other having their doubts due to family circumstances on both side.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I LOVED the characters in this romantic story. The setting is mostly in a quaint English neighborhood at an older home that Willow just inherited from a Grandmother she didn't even know about. Willow meets this gorgeous guy, Cooper, visiting his mom who lives next door. The sparks fly between them. The story is funny and Cooper is AWESOME! Linda
Honestly, any time you want a funny, sexy story, pick one of Ms. Lennox's books. This is a funny, sexy, sweet story of two people not looking for forever, a darling meddlesome older lady, and, of course a foundling puppy! Loved this!
This is about Willow and Cooper. For him it was love at first sight, for her it may have been as well but her Dad's example taught her that marriage and love was just temporary.
I have recently been reading a lot of Elizabeth Lennox and honestly have enjoyed quite a few books. Here the book was too bland. Not much chemistry. The characters weren't fantastic. There wasn't that factor that kept you hooked to the book
I loved this story, just like I anticipated. Cooper is the perfect guy. I especially loved that he was equally freaked out by the dolls. Lol. Totally awesome. A guy who shows his vulnerable side and cares for his granny. Just perfect!
1.5 stars Didnt like this book at all. I was hoping for an intense hero but was disappointed. It was lust at first sight for him and all his thoughts revolved around having sex with the heroine.
Guilty Pleasures is the next book in this Ladies of the Burling School series. This is is Willow and Cooper’s story. Willow meets Cooper in England where she has discovered that she was left a home by a grandmother she never knew about. The chemistry between Cooper and Willow is electric. Even though neither of them believe in relationships, they give it a try. Both of them have horrible examples of what a relationship is supposed to be. I encourage you to read for a great story full of romance, steamy scenes, funny moments and more. If this is your first book by Elizabeth Lennox I encourage you to read some of the other books.
