Love finds its way to Maple Glen in this collection of clean small-town romance stories! Join the Mitchell siblings as they each find love with a little help from their Aunt Fran!
It Takes Two: Clayton and Emmalee
When Clayton is offered his family business, his initial excitement is weighed down by overwhelming worry. Keeping it in the family has always been his top priority.
The only problem? He's a butcher, not a bookkeeper. Numbers were never his thing, but he's determined to make it work. Which leaves him with one choice: he'll have to learn the books or give up what he's always wanted. And there's no way he'll let that happen.
Unless Emmalee can find a job, she will have to forfeit her lifelong dream of living successfully in a quiet, friendly small town.
The only problem? There's only one job available and it's not even remotely close to business management.
But being a dog walker has its perks - like meeting a handsome butcher at the meat locker, for instance.
What happens when two ideas for one business threaten to take away what matters the most?
Coffee for Two: Cara and Vince
As a wedding photographer, Cara Mitchell only sees love through the lens of her camera. She has no time for trying to figure it out on her own.
So when her temporary trip to Maple Glen to help her aunt turns into a matchmaking attempt, Cara has no idea that Vince Bradley, Maple Glen’s finest deputy and the very man she’s been hoping to avoid, would be the one writing her a ticket for parking in a restricted zone.
So much for small town charm.
Vince knows Cara isn't planning to stick around. Her heart lies with her clients in the city. But that doesn’t stop him from handing over his own heart to the gorgeous stranger who swept into his life so unexpectedly.
Can Vince convince Cara that she deserves the happiness she captures in her photographs? Or will she return to the city and leave him to try and remember life without her?
Everything’s sweet in Maple Glen and Vince has no intention of letting Cara leave without realizing that for herself.
RSVP for Two: Charlie and Autumn
As a wedding planner, Autumn is focused on what matters most - her clients' weddings. She has no time to search for her own happily ever after.
So when she moves to Maple Glen, she doesn’t expect that Charlie Mitchell would be the one who makes her second guess everything.
Charlie’s plan of keeping Autumn as a friend backfires when he throws her plans for a loop. Creating drama was the last thing he wanted.
So when his brother threatens to toss him out of the wedding, Charlie has no choice but to make things right with Autumn.
The only problem? She’s focused on what could go wrong instead of what could go right.
When everything threatens to fall apart, will Charlie and Autumn run away from all that could be? Or will they see the potential to be the next ones down the aisle?
I highly recommend the Maple Glen series to anyone who enjoys sweet, clean romance novels. Ms. Butrum creates charming, believable characters. Visit Maple Glen and fall in love with the Mitchell siblings as they fall in love and find their happily every after.
I read the books as they were released. My reviews of the individual books follow.
It Takes Two - Maple Glen Book 1
Clayton is a confirmed bachelor who has always worked with his father in the family business. When his parents decide to retire and travel, he is set to take over...everything except the bookkeeping. Numbers are not his thing. He is determined not to fail, so he enrolls in some business courses at the community college.
Emmalee has always wanted to live in a small, peaceful town. She has had enough of the bustling city life. After earning her business degree, she moves to Maple Glenn, Unfortunately, the only job available in town is walking dogs...not really her area of expertise. Determined to stay in this charming little town, she takes the job until something better comes along.
When Clayton’s father hires Emmalee to help run the business without consulting Clayton first, things get a little heated...in more ways than one!
Ms Butrum has a talent for creating characters who find their way into your heart. I thoroughly enjoyed It Takes Two and I look forward to returning to the charming people of Maple Glenn. I definitely recommend It Takes Two to anyone who loves sweet small town romance stories.
Coffee for Two - Maple Glen Book 2
Cara Mitchell left Maple Glen to pursue her dream career as a wedding photographer. When she returns to Maple Glenn temporarily to help her aunt in her coffee shop, Aunt Fran engages in a little matchmaking.
Deputy Sheriff Vince Bradley is the man that Aunt Fran has picked out for Cara. Vince leaves a ticket on Cara’s car before they are even introduced to one another. This complicates matters, but Aunt Fran is one determined matchmaker!
I really enjoyed revisiting the charming town of Maple Glen and meeting even more of its residents. I recommend Coffee for Two and the entire Maple Glen series. Ms. Butrum has become one of my favorite authors. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
RSVP for Two - Maple Glen Book 3
Another great visit to the charming small town of maple Glen and the MItchell clan. I love visiting this small town and I feel like I know all the Mitchells. The Mitchells are a close knit family. Like all siblings, they have their differences but, when push comes to shove, they all stand together.
Autumn Martin and her best friend, Cara, moved their wedding planning/photography business to Maple Glen, Cara’s home town. Having formerly conducted their business in New York City, they find Maple Glen very different, but Autumn is learning to love the easy going small town life. The fact that Cara’s older brother, Charlie, comes with the territory makes it even better. Autumn and Charlie strike sparks off each other from the beginning. Even though the sparks weren’t of the good kind in the beginning, time and proximity begin to change that.
I recommend RSVP for Two and the entire Maple Glen series to anyone who enjoys reading clean, sweet romances. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
It Takes Two I always love reading Christina's Small Town romances. Maple Glen seemed to be mostly family of some sort, at least the few people we met. Clay had to battle is past and overcome what wronged him. Em was running from what wronged her. Can they help each other? Thanks to dog walking gone amok these two were pretty much thrown at each other. Dogs, you have to love them!
Coffee for Two Maple Glen is the perfect little town, does that mean it doesn't have it's problems? Of course not! No matter where you got here will be something.
I loved getting to see Fran again! She has something about her that you can't help but love! Christina did a great job with these characters and town! I can't wait for more.
RSVP for Two The emotions! Christina didn't disappoint. I loved going back to Maple Glen to see the people we have already got to know, and learn more about the others! I can't wait for more.
The first three books of a sweet and clean small town romance series.
It takes 2. 5 stars
A sweet, small town story of falling in love and learning to trust again. It was very realistically written, not the blown up Hollywood version of things. Clean language, no adult scenes.
Coffee for 2. 5 stars
Such a wonderful beginning. It hooked me immediately. I loved the police officer angle as I’m proud of our men in blue and think more people need to read things from their side. It was a sweet romance and a great installment in the Maple Glen saga.

Introduced to these characters in he last book, I’ve been really looking forward to reading their story! It wasn’t the story I expected but I really enjoyed it. Some major twists and turns and lots more insight into many of the clan.
I read this series individually. This is a wonderful series. They are all sweet romance, the struggles of life and love. Moving to big cities and ending up back in their wonderful small towns. The bonding between the characters in all 3 books is heartwarming. Very well written books. You'll laugh, you'll cry, so many emotions in each and every book.
I like the overall romance of your stories. What turns me off is that in every one there is premarital sex (plus in the first one they are having sex on their first date..staying in a cabin for a whole week..sleeping together). In another one they're living together..then pregnant before marriage. It makes me sad that there are no morals.
This box set is absolutely the best way to get three great romance stories. Each is a standalone complete story complete with all the emotional drama necessary to keep you turning the pages to the HEA. All are set in the Maple Glen local. Don't miss this one.(3)
I couldn’t even finish the first story! The author spends way too much time in the characters heads (with their thoughts going in endless circles) and not enough time on actual dialogue (we never know what he actually said to make her upset) or action.
You can start the Maple Glen series with this bundle without having to put it down. They're sweet, redeeming stories that will have you smiling and swooning.
Mitchell synlings as love come for them. Good clean stories, with good plots . From a confirmed bachelor, or a young woman wanting a small town, and how love and a job opened for her. Enjoy one or all they are good.
