If you aren’t a financial advisor, or at least wanting to become one, this book will have little to no value for you.

That being said, this is a great book. It isn’t a deep dive into any particular category or part of running a financial advising office. Instead, it is more of a high level overview of where the industry is today, where it’s going, and how financial advisors need to adapt. It was a super easy but very inspiring read.

I have heard great things about Ron Carson and know I understand why. He is a Titan of our industry.

One has to accept the fact that the obvious purpose of this book is to attract more advisors to Ron’s Carson Wealth unit. Once you come to terms with the entire book being a pitch to join his shop… though for defensible reasons… it becomes much easier to see the value in what he has done there and apply it to your own practice. My favorite chapter is on goal setting. I also like his “6 P” framework as a checklist of items to improve and carry out on one’s own practice.
