It includes thirty-one parable-style, life-impacting short stories—stories of courage for each day of the month—to bring you examples of courage and strength that can only come from God. I've been writing novels and short stories since I was a young teen. God has greatly impacted me, and I now desire to honor the Lord with my life and writing.

My stories can be read in several online and print publications, as well as three anthologies. My bestselling COIL Series include novels Dark Liaison, Book One; Dark Hearted, Book Two; Dark Rule, Book Three; and Dark Vessel, Book Four, and are available at most e-retailers, as are Jaguar Dusk, a Christian Special Forces novel, Sea Scribe, a Covert Christian Mission Suspense, and End Times Novel, God's Colonel. See my website for other novels and stories added often, including Dark Cover, COIL Book Five, to be out late 2014.

I offer free weekly Christian short stories, or serialized novels, my Author Reflections, and occasional challenges to the Christian Church on my Telbat's Tablet blog at http://ditelbat.com.

When I'm not writing, I'm very involved in Christian ministry. I've kept my home office in the NW U.S. where my assistant, Dee, lives and helps with my editing and writing needs.

My motto: There is no redemption without sacrifice.

Must-read stories of Christians in perilous times.

Every story is filled with strong faith in God, even in the face of persecution and ridicule. How many of us have that kind of faith? As you read these stories, you can't help but ask yourself, "Could I be that strong, that faith filled, under those conditions?"

Each story contains at least one "hero" who passes the test of faith in a way that humbles the reader. A day will almost surely come into the life of every believer when we will have the opportunity...yes, opportunity...to have our faith tested, as well.

I’m happy Christians are creating for the Lord

I found this by sheer chance on Amazon. I was looking for some Christian short stories, and there it was. I’m a published novelist myself, and a recent convert to Catholicism; and I was looking for Christian fiction to fill my soul instead of the secular junk I consumed for decades before I converted. Although this collection isn’t Catholic, I recommend it immensely. The language is easy, and the stories profound. I’ve already suggested that collection to a friend of mine. God bless.

Inspirational Stories

Truths about our sister's and brother's in other countries around the world and the persecution they go through for their belief in God our father and sharing His truth. Some are stories of here in the USA. That is all why I have it the rating of 5 stars and for it touching me to look within my soul to see if I am doing all I can to love and bring the Word to others.

i read this author to enjoy the consistency of the characters and the moral integrity of David Telbat's literary vision. You don't have to kill your enemy to win your battle and laying down your life for another INCLUDING your enemy is his norm. These are not your average 'Christian' tales and i am pleased to share that as my critique. Thank you, David, for allowing access to these powerful messages through the medium of fiction. Very hopeful stories.

Love His Books

Good clean literature with a purpose. No need to worry about who looks over your shoulder or who might pick up your e-reader. This collection of short stories are great ideas of how all Christians should act. These are all very heartwarming and shows different scenarios and choices. Makes me realize I'm not doing enough. Great job. Thank you.
