The Curse Begins
How do you know your life is going to hell? A dead guy tries to kill you.
Then when a psycho chains me to the public bathroom taps using only his mind, I know I’m truly losing mine.
But I’m not and that’s the worst part.
Next I’m hijacked by a crazy bus driver and taken back to school. Darkwells is no ordinary school and the students are only half sane. And the craziest part is I fit in. At least, I would if I could work out what my ability is.
Shut behind the protective walls of Darkwells Academy, I’ve got to master my ability quick as I appear to be on every rogue supernatural’s radar.
Enter Emrol, resident sex god and powerful fae who won’t leave me alone, even when he acts like he hates me. The feeling’s mutual, but it’s hard to keep away from him when he keeps using his magic to ensnare me.
Then there’s Luca, hanging in the shadows and watching my every move. Creepy weird if he wasn’t so panty smolderingly hot. Stay the hell away, I’ve been instructed by my new best friend. Not easily done when the guy emanates a dark danger I can’t resist.
Turns out learning my ability is hard, mastering it is even harder and the Darkwells tournaments are likely going to kill me.
It doesn’t take me long to realize there are more things going on in this academy than teaching students how to use their abilities. Not to mention the dark danger building outside the safety of the academy walls that I seem to be apart of.
If I can learn how to master my ability fast enough, I may just survive…

Samara is attacked and taken to a strange place called Darkwell's Academy where she finds out a whole world of paranormal people exist. She is thrown into the deep end and learning as she goes. Finding out about different factions and abilities while trying to understand her own. Only there are others after her and she doesn't know why. Interesting characters and I am left wanting to know MORE.

Great story
I loved the story. Samara is spunky and a fun character to follow. I love Luca too. I can’t wait to find out more about him. There were some grammar/editing errors, but it didn’t take anything away from the story.

Good story line but needs a bit more editing. Constantly changing characters names ie Elert sisters to Marcel sisters, was a bit disconcerting and threw me out of the story a bit
