Thanksgiving. A son seeks vengeance after years of heinous torture. A brother blames his sister for complicity and silence. Black Friday. Terrified, his final victim hides among the city’s destitute and beleaguered. Justice. It is a deadly race for survival through homeless camps, drug dens and no-tell motels.
I gave this book a rating of a 2 because the plot of the story is good. The writing and grammar throughout made it difficult sometimes to keep up with the story. If you are a reader who really pays attention to detail this book will be frustrating due to inconsistencies in the details. My suggestion to the author is to go back through the book, correct the inconsistencies and grammar and republish.
This book was incredible! It goes from zero to a hundred within the first few pages and never lets up. There are horrors described in this that I will never forget with a truly cruel antagonist. I can wait for whatever O'Dwyer has in store next!
If you want an ending that leaves you wanting more this is the read for you. O'Dwyer has done her research and spins a great story. Waiting for more from this author.
