Flawless Foundations is the fourteenth book in the 425 Madison series, but it works perfectly fine as a standalone. We were first introduced to the leading characters in this one in Boyfriend Maintenance, which was a lot of fun, but we get enough information to enjoy it without any prior knowledge.
Of the second season of the 425 Madison series, this is my favourite book thus far. It was a bit predictable in places, but I was hooked on the story. I adored the characters and the way their story developed, happily devouring the book in a single sitting. With plenty to keep you turning the pages, this is a great addition to the series.
All in all, Flawless Foundations is well worth the read if you’re a fan of the series.

Flawless Foundations by Lauren Helms was such a cute best friends brothers romance! It was fast paced novella that I couldn't get enough of!
It's part of a multi-author series, 425 Madison, but it also follows up on Lauren's previous book in the series, where we met our characters, Boyfriend Maintenance.
Becca has always had a crush on her best friends brother but after getting drunk one night he put her in the 'sister zone' and she thought that she would never recover from it so she used snark and fiestienss to cover up for the crush.
Oh yeah, and she thought she she hid that crush from her best friend. lol. Little did she know. There is so much going on in this story that will set your nerves on edge because some people are just... shady. You think they should act one way and they just don't.
But really, that's what makes Flawless Foundation interesting. These little caveats take this otherwise sweet story up a notch and to an exciting story. It's elevator, lifetime crushes, and family drama all rolled into a delicious package.

This book is flawless! My favorite from the series so far.. I read this immediately after boyfriend maintenance (which is also great read Emmy and Jake) and I just love Becca and Levi.
Best friend brother love story that is entertaining and easy to read. Highly recommended.

If you have been keeping up with 425 Madison (and really you should), you will know some of the characters in Flawless Foundation from Boyfriend Maintenance in the last round of the series.
That's part of what I love about this series, being able to check in with characters from past books.
Becca and Levi have a history, since she is friends and roomies with Levi's sister. Becca also had a massive crush on him that got sister-zoned when she visited him in college once.
So there's a past and some unresolved emotions and strong feelings going on between these two.
Of course there's the matter of Levi needing to be married before he can take over his father's company, so you know that's going to get in the way. Its kind of a given that its going to cause trouble in the end, but its romance and you have to have a big conflict so everyone can end up happy, right?
I so love Levi though, even though things could have been easier if he just would have told the truth. A little honesty always goes a long way.
The chemistry between these two was great, and it was wonderful to have Emmy and Jake back too.
This was a super fun read that had just enough steamy scenes to make you want to fan yourself!

The talented Lauren Helms really knocked Flawless Foundations out of the park, and when I finished, I was left willing to beg for more. I will say while this story can be read as a standalone, but I seriously recommend you read Boyfriend Maintenance first, as it will make this story even better to be honest. Becca has been in love with her bestie's brother, Levi, but he put her in the sister zone some time back. Now he needs her for a favor, and things get complicated (but not in that OTT way) pretty quickly, especially when the chemistry is set off. This story was fast paced, and reiterated how much I want to move to 425 Madison immediately. I'm so grateful the very sweet & amazing Lauren Helms decided to start releasing books since they are great & so very addictive. Hit that one click button to learn how it all pans out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Oooh my goodness yet another phenomenal job in this series. Can I move to 425 Madison?
There's sarcasm, cheekiness, friendship, aggravation, threats, growth and love. These books leave me on the edge of my seat I swear. Now trust each book is a standalone but you will not won't to miss out any of them.
In this book we get Levi and Becca's story. Becca is Em's best friend for almost twenty years. Levi is Em's big brother. Without spoilers know one has a crush on the other for years but would not act on it, one lays an unexpected kiss on the other in an empty elevator and they both realize sweet Jesus they want more lol.

I enjoyed this book; it moved along quickly, I think there was always something there, between Levi and Becca -> he just didn’t realize it because she was his sister, Emily’s, bff! Once the flame was lit, she moved on from smarmy Marshall, it was wonderful. Why can’t SOME men just come clean with all information that might come back and bite them in the butt, it always comes back. His Dsd was certainly a piece of work, and Kitty - bleh.
I wish there could have been some consequences for that dolt of a boss at BLUSH - can we get some Karma! don’t get me started on that ‘tart’ Heather, I’m so glad Levi kept it in his pants and stayed away from that!

Levi is due to become CEO of King Industries but when he broke off his engagement his father started making other plans for a interim CEO! Levi is furious and realises he needs to prove himself or get married!
On a business meeting dinner Becca is there with her boyfriend, and when he keeps putting her down in front of Levi, she gets upset. Levi ends up giving her a lift home, which is ok as they live on the same floor at 425 Madison.
What follows is a beautiful love story of two people who love each other, but secrets stand between them and their future, Levi needs to come clean before someone else does it for him ....

I enjoyed reading this book about Levi and Becca. Glad that it also included the charaters Jake and Emmy from 425 Madison Avenue. I really liked this storyline about Levi not wanting to give into his father and the board's demands. Until he falls for Becca after all the years of knowing each other but not pursuing her. Glad that Levi and Becca find love at the right time and so Levi can take his rightful place in the family company that he worked so hard for. Can't wait to read the next book about 425 Madison Avenue. Loved all the books that I have read so far.

Becca is a cosmetics blogger and in love with Levi for a long time. Levi never saw Becca as anything but a friend until she kisses him. A kiss can change everything for both of them. Flawless Foundations is a sexy quick read from the fantabulous world of 425 Madison. I am so in love with this series. I love meeting all the new tenants and also catching up with the regulars. Levi & Becca are smokin hot in the bedroom, the boardroom - even fiery in the elevator. Each story is unique and keeps you intrigued from the first page. Jump on down to 425 Madison and catch up with these two where I can guarantee you will enjoy the ride.

This new addition to the 425 Madison Series tops the list as one of my favorites in the series. Becca and Levi's happily ever after is sexy, flirty, and fun. I flew through the pages, was fanning myself with the hallway scene, and was rooting for Becca to find her new direction. You don't want to miss this friends to lovers romance

Another hit for the 425 Madison series and for Lauren Helms.
Levi and Becca were fun. They were finally in the right place and the right time for one another. I think they’ve always liked one another but it was never the right time. Also with Emmy being Becca’s BFF it was a tricky situation.
It was nice to catch up with Jake and Emmy and nice to hear some other familiar names.

AWESOME READ!!! A good story about believable and like able characters. I have enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading more. This is such a good book! It was one I did not want to put down. My thanks to the author for writing it, and I can't wait to read more!!!

Awe, we get to get caught up on Emmy and Jake and get a new love couple Becca and Levi. Becca tried to stay away from her crush but they don’t just go away, not even after the one time she got turned down. As luck would have it, crush’s are meant to be more and this crush is one we all dream about. A crush that started out young and blossomed into adulthood. It’s almost like second chance meets best friend’s brother meets marriage set up? It’s a really good book!

I've read every book by Lauren Helms and have enjoyed each one more than the last. This is no exception. I've loved watching Lauren grow as an author. I also love watching her characters fall in love. Becca and Levi are amazing. From their crushes as two young adults to growing up and falling in love, I adore this couple. Well done on another adorable contribution to the 425 Madison universe! It really is the perfect place to fall in love.

4.5 stars. I really enjoyed this next installment in the 425 Madison Ave. series. It was nice getting to see Emmy and Jake from Boyfriend Maintenance. And it was very easy to fall in love with Becca and Levi in this one. The two had a connection from the start, even if Becca had always tried to hide her feelings and make it more of an annoying friend’s brother relationship. I had trouble putting it down, I’d tell myself only two chapters, but then end up reading a few more, and then a few more, because I wanted to see what would happen and how they would handle the problems. Now it did have the often found bad communication issue that caused one of the final problems, but I feel like eventually they moved on in a mostly realistic way. Lauren Helms is definitely an author I’m going to be looking into reading more by in the future, even outside this series!

I liked Levi and Becca's best friend's brother romance. I love this series which is in season two and am always excited to read each new entry and while I thought that this was a good read, it is far from my favorite of the bunch. What really worked for me. The book was well written and I found the story line entertaining. Becca and Levi were likable characters. The setting is complex, detailed and involving. Once you get a peek into the goings on at 425 Madison you will definitely fall for the characters and this building and want more. The chemistry generated plenty of sparks and sizzle. Now as for what didn't work for me. There were several plot points that bothered me. First and foremost was Becca's previous crush and hurt feelings. This is mentioned but then just pretty much set aside. I would have liked to see at least one real conversation to address this but it never really happened. After years of being annoyed, embarrassed and hurt she just instantaneously lets it go? With no reservations at all? That didn't work for me. Then when you add in the additional conflict that faced this couple and how easy she caved on that too, I began to feel that Becca was more than happy to be Levi's doormat as long he gave her affection and attention. Lastly and this is probably not going to earn me any fans but I honestly felt that this book had too many rich people problems for my liking. At least Levi was easier to relate to with his overbearing Dad and the hoops he wanted Levi to jump through. Becca though was another matter. I know the whole jerk for a boss angle was to make her sympathetic but I still found it hard to connect with two college degrees with no debt and a trust fund to live on. Still, if none of that bothers you or you can just push through it this is a good read. This is my truthful review that I am freely electing to post.

Lauren Helms has given us such a treat with this one! Becca is a beauty blogger that also has had a long-term crush on her best friend’s brother, Levi. Levi is trying to take over King Cosmetics once his father steps in, however, his father and the board want Levi to show more stability in his life, like being married. Just as Levi realizes he’ll never get promoted without satisfying his father’s demands, he and Becca just so happen to take their flirtation to the next level. Everything is going wonderfully until Becca learns much later about Levi’s dilemma with his father.
I will be honest and say that I thought the premise of this one sounded way too unbelievable and actually, a bit silly. But, oh my goodness – I was wrong. I loved this addition to the 425 Madison series and was rooting for Levi and Becca from the first page to the last!
Becca was an amazing main character, likable, and relatable. I wasn’t sure about Levi at first, then he completely grew on me, and then he frustrated me to death, and back and forth. But this couple was written with so much chemistry that you could feel the heat between them.
Lauren Helms did an amazing job with Flawless Foundations making sure to hit on all of the real things in a perfect balance with the romance and the steam. She added in the tension between friends, the tension between parents and children, and a whole lot of tension of every variety between Levi and Becca. I highly recommend this one, especially if you are already a fan of the series. But even if you haven’t checked out the rest of the series yet, this can easily be read as a standalone.

Becca has had feelings for Levi for along time only he shut her down saying he sees her like a sister. Emmy King is her best friend and also Levi 's sister. Becca graduated five years ago with double honours in mathematics and chemistry and just wasn't sure what she wanted to do with her life, one thing is for sure she loves her make up blog. When these two are each other again will the secret just be too much ?

Levi and Becca have known each other pretty much their whole lives and she was in love with him for a good chunk of that. Then she wasn't. When this installment of 425 Madison begins, she was definitely not in love with him which made this an enjoyable read. I do wish that they could have talked about what happened back then, just to get his perspective for the story because honestly, Levi wasn't my favorite book boyfriend.
Part of that had to do with marrying someone to get a job. I'm not a fan of all that birthright stuff but I didn't let it get to me too bad, except for occasionally screaming at my Kindle for Levi to tell Becca what's going on! There seemed to be genuine feelings between them but Becca was kind of a doormat, easily accepting every excuse Levi gave her just so they could be together. It was frustrating at times but that's part of the journey.

This is the first time I've had the opportunity to read a book written by Lauren Helm, and I enjoyed it so much! Flawless Foundations is a fun romance with two wonderful characters who have known one another since they were young.
Levi King is the heir apparent to King Cosmetics. Becca Nicely, a beauty blogger and bartender, is his sister's long time friend and someone he views as like a 'sister.' That doesn't please Becca because she's been in love with Levi for the longest time. Levi's thoughts about Becca changes one night when they find themselves alone in an elevator heading towards their respective apartments at 425 Madison Avenue. And, as the saying goes...it all started with a kiss. What happens after is a solid story of a son fighting his father for the rightful place in a family business, two people falling in love and a secret that could split them apart.
Lauren did an excellent job of weaving the story into a cohesive tale. Her characters were well developed. The hero and heroine were very likable, so I truly wanted everything to work out for them.
Like all the books in the 425 Madison Avenue series, this one is a stand-alone. Characters from other books are mentioned, but there is enough background given to know who they are.

Unrequited love with best friends brother? Yes, sign me up! Becca(Bex) was in love with her best friends brother forever, dates way back to her teen years. When she was brave enough when they were visiting him in college, she decided that she'd let him know, but she was rejected and she "fell" out of love with him since then. She's been avoiding, disliking him for years, so now, fast forward to their late 20s. Levi, has worked extremely hard to take over King Cosmetics Industries as CEO for years. But, there is something he didn't fulfill, so his father isn't too sure of him taking over the reigns. There is so much tension between his father and him. So, things are not sitting right with him.
A chance moment in the elevator changes things between him and his sisters best friend. Something he's never crossed his mind and now he can't stop thinking about Bex. I really enjoyed this story. Bex and Levi were so good together, I loved seeing him realize his love for her and she's been there all along. These two were so HOT together, I could feel the happiness when they were together through my kindle.

Becca has been in love with Levi since she was 12 years old. He pushes her drunken attraction away when she visits him in college, and she decides she is over him. Love isn’t that easy to get over. They live in the same complex, Becca is his sister’s roommate, so you know that they see each other. All it takes is one kiss in the hallway and it is game over for Levi and Becca. The attraction heats up, the love comes rushing back, and it takes all that they have not to rush right into the bedroom.
I love this story. It is one of my most favorites in the 425 Madison series so far. Becca and Levi are wealthy, educated, and strong-willed. They both are going after what they want in life and together they will accomplish it. Levi needs Becca to get the CEO of his family’s company but that is not why he wants her. He shows his love for her with each touch, word, and fear that if she finds what he is hiding she will run. Becca wants to earn her own way; she doesn’t want handouts and she is willing to put in the hard work to get where she wants.

This was my first book by Lauren Helms and I really enjoyed it. I was worried at first about the concept of girl like’s guy she has known for a long time, guy needs to marry a girl within a specified amount of time to tick off a box to get something he wants, in this case CEO of King Cosmetics. However, it was not an old or stale storyline as I had first thought before I even read the book.
I absolutely loved the relationship between Becca and Levi. They were cute together, had great chemistry, and Levi wanted the relationship despite the predicament he was in. Becca was cute and seemed as in love with Levi as she was many years ago, but was not weak or pushy about it.
This book had a couple of other characters in it that hopefully get, or maybe already has another book. I found the series part of this confusing... like this was book 14 in a series and the next book to come out is 15 and by a different author, so I might just go to some of Lauren’s other books and pick those up instead. :)
