Once a bad boy, always a bad boy?

James Fulton is not a nice man. His dad taught him to destroy things, and he enjoyed doing it. When he was kicked out of Harvard for cheating, he could have taken it as a wake up call.

He didn't.

Paisley finds joy in simple things: snow cones, roller skates, kids. She doesn't have an ambitious bone in her body, but her friends don't mind. She cheers them on when they're up and supports them when they're down. Everyone loves Paisley, and for good reason.

She's always there when you need her.

When Paisley and James meet at a friend’s wedding, no one expects sparks to fly. They're far too different to ever be a good fit.

Everyone is wrong.

But Paisley has a secret. Something none of her friends know. When that secret calls her home, she must face all the things she has ignored. She needs help to survive, but asking for it will expose the truth she has been hiding.

Her family has a debt, and to her great dismay, the debtor is business piranha James Fulton.

James Fulton is not a nice man. His father taught him the value from tearing things apart, and the world confirmed those lessons.

Paisley's easy to love. She loves the simple joys in life. She doesn't have an ambitious bone in her body. Everyone loves Paisley, and for good reason.

When Paisley and James meet, no one expects sparks to fly. They're too different. They're terrible for each other. Opposites can attract, but in this case, Paisley sees James for what he is: a bad egg. She runs the other direction.

Do bad eggs always stink? Or can Paisley and James discover a path ahead together?

This is, as of right now, the last book in this series. I say "as of right now" because the author is thinking about maybe writing another one sometime in the future. I will definitely read it if she does.

I went into this book thinking I was going to really dislike James. He wasn't very nice in the book he was introduced in, but I should have known that Bridget Baker would be able to win me over to his side. I ended up loving James! People can change, and not everything was exactly the way it seemed with him. I was so happy to see Paisley finally find someone who was perfect for her. I've loved her in every one of the books. They made such a cute couple. I swear I could just picture this being a Hallmark channel movie. This ended up being my second favorite book in the series, right behind Finding Liberty.

If your looking for pure escapist romance, then look no further, this series will most likely be for you.

Thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC of this book.

Finding Holly is the perfect holiday romance with sweet and endearing characters. Bridget E. Baker continues to amaze with her well written characters that have so much background and depth. Add that to an intriguing plot, and you have once again another winner. Connor Crais and Jennifer Jill Arraya narrate.

Paisley has been introduced throughout the previous novels, but her background has always been a mystery. She works as Mary’s assistant, is brilliant, and could find a better job, but is completely happy with her life in Atlanta. Her brother Cole comes to visit to tell her that their father is ill, and she needs to come home to visit. Home is in another country. Paisley meets James at Mary and Luke’s wedding and they instantly hit it off. Paisley gives James her number, but she never hears from him again until they meet by again by chance. Is it fate? Will James keep Paisley’s secret?

This audiobook is narrated in dual narration. Connor and Jennifer’s voices really compliment each other. Connor does a fabulous job portraying a wealthy businessman with no relationship experience.. Plus, his Australian accent is amazing! Jennifer does a great job with Paisley, and her male voices with all the different accents are spot on!

Bridget E. Baker has written a wonderful story that is a joy to listen to during the Holiday season. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

This was a really sweet romance with a bit of Christmas fun thrown in for good measure, for those that like a good Christmas story story you will love it, me, I will confess I’m not a huge fan. But it was a fun read just the same.

I loved Holly, she was such a down to earth, determined woman who had such a lot of love to give.

And then we meet James, her complete opposite in so many ways. Self absorbed, holds a grudge and unforgiving.

But when the two meet there is instant chemistry, it would be safe to say this would be a bit of a slow burn romance. But once they get past their baggage, together they will be a force to be reckoned with.

There was nothing about this book I did not like, go get your copy and enjoy.

I received this as a complimentary copy and I am giving my honest review voluntarily

Secrets Revealed!

Paisley has always been the one everyone could count on, but she never even had anyone to share her life with. I was thrilled to finally find out what Paisley has been keeping secret from everyone and boy was it a big one!

James was also a complete surprise because he’s actually much more than he seemed from the outset. Even though Luke was his only supporter, as his family secrets are revealed you’ll find yourself rooting for him just as much.

I love the twists and turns of this story. I also enjoyed the chemistry between Paisley and James. Thank goodness these two have such good friends to keep them on the right track. If you love a great happily ever after, then you’re in for a great adventure with this story!

I'm a bit sad. This is the last book in the series and I have nothing left to look forward to. I do hope the author will consider a book for Ethan and Cole in the near future. This book was a fun read just as the others were. I was really looking forward to this story, because I loved Holly from the first book. She is fun and a true and faithful friend. I wanted to see her get her happily ever after. Which she did. I am happy to say. I really enjoyed this story and I recommend for any chic lit lovers who like clean reads that will make you swoon.

This is James and Paisley's story and I am so addicted to not only this author's writing but this series! I know this maybe the conclusion but I am hoping there will be more of the other characters :)

It is very hard to find clean romance in first point of view that is a page turner but this series is one of the best I have read in a long time!

A story of redemption

If you've read the earlier books in the series, you know that James hangs on to grudges and is known as a "bad egg", but there's something about him that appeals to Paisley and when he confesses his sins to her, that just might be the beginning of some wonderful life changes for both James and Paisley.

WHAT IT'S ABOUT
Once a bad boy, always a bad boy?

He didn't.

Paisley finds joy in simple things: snow cones, roller skates, kids. She doesn't have an ambitious bone in her body, but her friends don't mind. She cheers them on when they're up and supports them when they're down. Everyone loves Paisley, and for good reason.

But Paisley has a secret. Something none of her friends know. When that secret calls her home, she must face all the things she has ignored. She needs help to survive, but asking for it will expose the truth she has been hiding.

Her family has a debt, and to her great dismay, the debtor is business piranha James Fulton.

MY TAKE
How does this series just keep getting better?

First about the book. I didn't expect to like James. Not at all. And that's Baker's fault. She made him the villain in Trudy and Paul's love story. And Baker did a dang good job of it. The blurb above tells it very well in her description of James. She called him a piranha but Paisley liked calling him a hawk. But it turned into an endearment. He became her hawk.

Because that's the thing. Baker doesn't write two dimensional characters. Even the villains. There's so much more to James Fulton than we thought. At least for his motivations, some even he didn't understand. There are hints about his character that I wanted to ignore, from Luke the husband of Paisley's boss. With him, James proved a loyal friend even when he was working to get revenge on Luke's brother. See, James has some really twisted and misplaced views on things. But Luke's right. Deep down, James is a good man. And I'm all about stories of redemption!

Then there's Paisley. Oh, boy, does that girl have quite the secret. I won't go into the particulars of that because secret. Let's just say it was a surprise with a TWIST.

*Happy sigh*

I listened to the audiobook and the narrators were fab as usual.

Paisley (Holly) returns to her home of Liechtenstein after a 10 year absence. Her father is ill and the "family business" is on the verge of going under. Her friends think she's on a beach somewhere - not at the family castle where she is the Hereditary Princess.
James Fulton meets Paisley at a friend's wedding - they talked, they danced and Paisley left if up to him to make the next move. . .he doesn't.
Fast forward - Paisley returns home and finds things are much worse than she imagined. However, her mother insists on trying to play matchmaker to keep her in Liechtenstein - until Paisley blurts that she has a boyfriend in America - and when pressed to name him - she only has one man on her mind, Jim Fulton.
What are the chances that none other than James Fulton would be the man to buy the family's failing company? Pretty high, if you ask Paisley when she finds him in her family home. Thank goodness he's a good sport and plays along when her father discovers James is the man Holly said was her boyfriend.
This book will keep you turning pages to the last one to figure out how James (who usually tears companies apart for fun) decides to find a way to build one with Holly to save her family and help himself with a little side plan he has with his grandfather.
You will learn the secrets of Liechtenstein that make you want to send them some $$!!
There is so much I would like to tell you about this book, but I am not a writer by any means and Bridget Baker does an amazing job guiding us through the twists and turns of this wonderful book. . .I highly recommend this book, and the whole series in which you will learn more about Paisley's friends in America, you won't be disappointed. <3

Like a breath of fresh air! Totally entertaining
5 stars overall, 5 stars story, 5 stars overall

I must first say that I am extremely pleased by the masterful narration. Jennifer Jill Araya and Connor Crais deliver fantastic performances, as they have done in each previous audiobook in this marvelous series. They are two of the most talented and consistently excellent narrators today.

I love the heroine Paisley, and her guy Jim was lovable too. Jim is the first hero in the series with some morality issues since he really holds grudges. I waver between giving it 4 and 5 stars because there was a little too much lack of communication that seemed a little contrived and unnatural. Still, it squeaked in with 5 stars. I do love the crazy mix of tropes that all got melded together in this: millionaire, fake relationship, secret identity (for Paisley), and even a wild Christmas-related theme. A few revelations made me go "WTF" in a good way. The chemistry, the supporting friendships, and the family themes were all great. The little taste of living like a rich person was really fun, like a vacation from my life. There is lots to love in this audiobook. I was slightly irritated that these two main characters communicated a lot in some ways but hardly at all about their feelings toward each other. However, I was totally hooked and couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this fun contemporary romance and the entire series as well!

I requested and received a free audiobook copy from the author via #AudioBookfly, and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

I have enjoyed this book so much. I've recently been listening to the audiobook versions of this series and have been completely drawn in. The narration is very good.

Paisley has a secret she is keeping from her friends. She left her native home in Europe 8 years ago after a tragedy changed her life. She couldn't stay so she went to America. She has been working as a secretary. She is a romantic at heart but has never found the right guy. Then she meets Jim, who isn't a "good guy" according to her friends but she is drawn to him. He seems like a good guy when she is with him but can she trust her heart. Will he call her for a date or will he ghost her?

Jim has never had any close friends. Well, only one. . . Luke. He is vengeful and seeks revenge on anyone who has wronged him. He meets Paisley at Luke's wedding and is instantly smitten, but he doesn't call her later like he said he would. Then, they meet under surprise circumstances and he learns the secret she has been keeping from her friends in America.

Will Jim keep her secret? Will he exact his revenge on the on the one remaining person he is determined will pay? Will he follow his deceased grandmother's wishes and finally find happiness?

This is a clean, wonderfully romantic story with a happy ending. It is an appropriate read for anyone who loves a good romance.

James Fulton comes from a very dis-functional New York family - his grandmother Gigi being the only one who cared. After being expelled from Harvard for having answer codes (paid for by his father), he built a business/bank that specializes in dismantling struggling companies and selling them off in pieces. He's pretty much the complete opposite of Paisley, who's warm, helpful, and the best of friends in her circle in Atlanta. When the two meet at a mutual friend's wedding, no one expects them to hit it off, but they do, but nothing comes of it for months while James works on his revenge list. Meanwhile, Paisley is summoned home to deal with a family crisis - a family none of her friends know about. She's in fact, the hereditary princess of Liechtenstein. She quickly discovers that one of her family's prime businesses has been purchased by James, and is now on the chopping block - a disaster for the family - but the impetus for the two of them to finally get together. Both have issues to work through, but eventually they get the HEA and save the family tradition (that started the Santa Claus myth!)

Admittedly, I was really upset at first to find out that Paisley, who I loved in prior books was paired up with James, the man who was so awful that he sabotaged someone else's business and didn't even feel bad for it. At the end of the other book, he apparently let go of his vendetta and forgave the other person for a slight he thought the person committed to him. The word "huh??" reverberated through my head constantly and every time that concept was mentioned in this story, I still became incensed that his horrible behavior wasn't more maligned and that he was almost being praised for overcoming his ridiculous anger and vendetta.

That said, if you can overcome that aspect of the hero's behavior, I overall enjoyed their growth together. Paisley's secret comes out pretty early on and there's a fake relationship trope within this story. Overall, the story was relatively easy to read (or in my case, listen to- narration by Connor Crais and Jennifer Araya, who were both great.) I give the story 3.5 stars and the narration easily 4.5 stars.

*this book was provided to me for an honest review*

I would say this book is “just okay”. I’ve only listened to one other book in this series which had me so hooked I couldn’t focus on work. This one was nice to listen to (fitting narrators, good performance) but I just wasn’t as invested in this story as the previous one. Part of this might be due to the fact that the male character isn’t exactly a good guy and his redemption storyline is kind of lackluster.

You definitely need to read the prior books in the series to follow along with this story. Having only read one, I was completely lost at points as the peripheral characters showcased in the previous books played a somewhat prominent role.

There was a fun storyline about the origins of Santa and an Easter egg about one of the author’s fantasy series.

This is a clean romance novel - no steamy scenes.

Christmas royalty with a twist

I love the whole idea of this book, it's so unique and fun, even when it has more difficult situations. Reading royalty romances isn't something I do often, usually it's because the cover stands out to me or I'm familiar with the author. This one may just change my mind on that, it was so fun and I don't know the royalty aspect, especially when hidden partly, made this story even better! If it would have just been about two random people, it may not have been as enjoyable, but adding the royalty aspect truly set this book apart and made it into something entirely unique and wonderful.

It really gives some vibes of Princess Diaries and The Ultimate Gift. It truly is a beautiful and fun story and I love that it gives so much history behind the familys stories, their names, etc. It was very well thought out and written.

This is the 2nd audiobook I have listened to by Mrs. Baker. We got to reconnect with some of the characters from Finding Liberty and met some new ones as well.

I liked the "journey to self discovery " feel from both Paisley and James' characters. I knew of Paisley from Finding Liberty, but really got to know her in this book. We got to see her struggles, her pain, her growth and watch her overcome. James was an interesting character from the beginning. I felt like I got to watch him grow, open up and let go throughout the book.

There was a good, flow between the storyline and the readers of the book. I had trouble "putter the book down". I am looking forward to reading more in this series!

Fun, silly, innocent Paisley has a past that is NOTHING like her current life. It was a surprise to get introduced to this side of her, and a surprise to see that the evil jerk in the past of some of the men I have grown to love throughout the Finding series actually has a heart. This romance spans the ocean, both in commercial flights and private jets. Strong love and great loss for both main characters. I feel the pain that has shaped who they each have become and understand how a princess could become plain ole Pais. This is a perfect read around the holidays! (If you remember way back at the start of the series, Paisley loves helping with Sub-for-Santa and we get to find out a bit more behind her enthusiasm for Mary’s project!). Hallmark sweetness to the max!

I enjoyed this series in audio, mostly through my library's Hoopla app.
It has some greatly flawed but good characters, some that seemed bad but were redeemed by love and personal growth later in the series. Kids were great characters in this series, plus pets were included, thought I would have loved more. Some of the plot directions were surprising such as the Europe connections and the Santa legend. Some book endings seemed a bit rushed at the time, but then the characters recurred throughout the series, adding to their stories. I learned a little about living with paralysis, and walked in an author's shoes for a short distance. Glad I finally got this series.

Perfect!

This book is perfect to read 2 weeks before Christmas. Actually it is perfect to read anytime but in December it is especially perfect! I love the redemptive story where love softens, changes, and finally conquers. How can Ms. Baker take the villain from one of her amazing novels and make him the hero in this one? James is redeemed wonderfully. And in the best possible way. As for Paisley she knows what is truly important in life, what really matters. So it is fitting she should be the central person to help his heart grow 2 sizes bigger! Ah, magic, Christmas, and love are alive in this perfect book.

Holly Paisley and James Princess Love Tryst! 3.4***** Spoiler Alert

Paisley/ Holly, Hereditary Princess of Liechtenstein, hid out in Georgia to grieve over her dead favorite brother, Noel, while working for Mary and helping Sub-For-Santa and kids achieve happiness. James Fulton, wealthy corporate raider fell in love with her and together they saved her family two hundred year-Santa Claus tradition and BergTelephone, while James learnt to forgive and to let go of grudges. HEA for the two, with bun in the oven.

Fair Cinderella-type plot and characters, with a theme of money can't buy happiness. A 'Meh-Read'!

This was a Hallmark movie in book form—completely unbelievable, unlikely, and cheesy. I can totally see how people would enjoy this. I just found it too far-fetched and with too many coincidences for my liking. I also found some of Paisley’s reactions ridiculous and things could have been easily resolved by simply communicating.

Once again, the author inserted herself into the story, this time having Paisley read a book from another series of hers while singing its praises and lecturing James that he can’t borrow her copy because authors only make money when people buy books. Good grief. So tacky.

Growing up the way most little girls can only dream of turned out not so delightful for this joyful soul. She runs away after tragedy to reinvent herself as someone new. With time and distance on her side she can almost forget why her heart shattered in two. That is until the past has a way with colliding with her future. Tempting to destroy all she has been working so hard to create! Can the love of family, friends and a crush help her reconnect with what she’s been running from? It all plays out poetically and it’s a story you don’t want to miss!

I grabbed this one for free on Amazon one day. It was the fifth in a series, but reviews said it could be read alone. I want to go back and read the first four after reading this one because I really enjoyed it! This is a clean romance, nothing more than a kiss if you aren't into the steam...it would be a great read for you. It is not overly Christmas, but the way they do bring Christmas into it was so much fun!!! I really liked Paisley and James and loved to watch them grow and change through the book. Just an all around solid read.

Holly and James meet at a friends wedding and hit it off right away. But they each have issues they are dealing with as well as misunderstandings. It was hard to like James at first, but he grows and changes throughout the story. Both of his parents weren't there for him much as he was growing up and his grandfather is not exactly a loving grandparent, which resulted in James wanting to "get even" with them. There were a lot of funny parts and some sad ones. Holly is just the person he needs by his side and I loved the ending.

I loved reading Paisley’s story. I also loved that it was James’ story as well. Such a perfect ending. And everything from start to that ending was so attention grabbing with well-written, humanly flawed characters. The love story was sweet, clean, and lovely. The twist in the story and learning Paisley’s background was delightful. I definitely recommend it.

I received a complimentary copy of the book. All opinions are my own and are expressed voluntarily.

Unexpected Quality, Clean Royal Romance
This is a very high-quality royal romance. I usually steer clear of that genre, but I love this series and took a chance. I am so glad that I did! This story is as wonderful as all of the series. It can stand alone, but since it shares the same characters as the rest of the series, the reader will enjoy it more if it is read in order. I received this story free from the author, but it more than worth the cover price.

Loved This Book!!!

I loved the whole series, but Finding Holly is my favorite! James was not a nice person, and Paisley was pure sunshine. I really liked how their story unfolded and that Jame's Gigi was in his life to offset some of his horrible upbringing. It's amazing what love can accomplish especially if the person is honest with themselves. Looking forward to more books from this author.
