Koyn and Hadley meet when Hadley's boyfriend was about to rape her. This triggers Koyn's past and he kills Milk instantly. Koyn takes her to the club and looks after her like his own daughter (his daughter and wife was murdered together) and protect her, until he finds and returns her to her daddy.
K. Webster tries every range of writing. This one just didn't hit. You have taboo here, there are dark and gritty scenes, possessive hero, daddy and daughter scenes. Best contents to reach this book but this book didn't hit as much it had capability to.
Koyn once known as Jared, had a family, a teenage girl and a wife. He comes home to find them tied up, raped and murdered infront of him. Ten years later Koyn turned twisted and jaded, President of a MC Club, Royal Bastards and looking out for revenge. Koyn kind of has two personalities, one where he is psychotic and another when he remembers his dead daughter and is sweet and caring. Hadley runs away with her childhood boyfriend, Milk, who is the member of another club. Hadley's life changed after her mother dies, she hides from her past, hoping one day to marry Milk. But Milk repeatedly cheats on her. Koyn finds out the location of Magna, Milks father, the murderer of his family but instead found Milk assualting Hadley.
Where the book begins to go down:
1) Koyn is attracted to Hadley because she resembles his dead daughter. There could be similarities with his dead wife and the hero could find a young girl attractive and the daddy kink can be played but being attracted to daughter's resembler seems off putting.
2) Koyn breaks most of his club rules and when anyone kind of 'protests' he glares at them, and they just, “Do what you gotta do, Prez. We got your back”.
3) I found the story less biker and more mafia type.
Both MC's have a dark past assembling them to today's emotions and actions. Koyn gives more psychotic vibe and Hadley has a tramautic past. She is raped by men and it's not easy to read the dark scenerio the author has build. This book is wild and crazy. There is steamy and disgusting scenes which is absolutely perfect for the built of these dark characters. I loved the plot and I'm always curious about how it ends. The villians really got a deserved ending.
Book triggers: violence, rape, daddy kink play, huge age difference, darkness and tragedy.
