High School; First day back in a classroom after being home schooled for the last 6 years…what could go wrong? Or I guess, what could go right?
I’m clumsy, obsessed with pop-culture, and lack the ever-important brain to mouth filter. Who would have thought I would meet “my lobster” walking in to the building? Wesley is more than I could have ever hoped for in my other half and I am so excited to see how our Happily Ever After unfolds.
Wesley
Senior in high school, mechanic at my family’s car dealership, best friend by my side…life is good. That is until my zeiskeit, my sweetness, my Merith.
Wasn’t looking for my forever, she just kind of fell into my world. Now, I can’t imagine what life would be like without her. And I don’t wanna, you can’t make me. Between family who doesn’t understand socially acceptable boundaries, my girl’s inability to keep her blood inside her body, and an unhealthy obsession with Game of Thrones and Elton John…I’m in for one wild ride.
*Be advised this book contains scenes of sexual assault to someone other than the main characters. If this is uncomfortable for you, please do not read.
**Author Note: This book is part of a series with strong sexual content and coarse language. The books are enjoyed best if read in order; characters and story lines carry over.
I'm totally reading all of these connected series backwards, but I don't care. The one big surprise for me so far is that I didn't expect this one to be when they are in high school. So much of it was just over the top and not what high schoolers would do, you just kinda had to go with it. Once you do that, you will be laughing. These characters are funny, take life in stride and have a good relationship with their elders. Even when bad stuff happens they bounce back pretty quickly. I look forward to reading more in this series and hope the rest are just as funny/goofy as this one.
After years of being homeschooled, Merith is back to High School and is planning to make the most of it. She meets Wesley who is a senior and he makes his interest known from the get go. Merith and Wesley know they are each other's one but what happens when life gets in the way?
This was fun, I think I struggled with it being high school. Wesley is awestruck by Merith and Merith feels the same way. I liked the way that they worked with their parents. Fun story.
Wes and Mer drew me right in. She is smart, funny, kind and not resentful. He is an adorable and loving soulmate to his Mer. Two young adults who are more adult than others twice their age. How they handle situations is remarkable. I love their families and sense of humor. So enjoyable.
This book will get you in touch with your inner geek and all things pop culture. I loved all the movies references in this book, they keep you hopping for sure. Who does not love a book where they keep quoting the Princess Bride! Fun sweet read!
Wes and Merith find love at first sight. These two are madly in love with each other and the insanity that follows them is so worth the read. I laughed through this entire book. Loved the first love in the Ville book and can't wait for more.
This the first I have read this author but it will not be the last. Its so hard to find authors that are just right but man I loved this book. It took a look at a lot of different things that are real life and made you laugh as you cried. Moving on to the next in the series!
Omg! I don't think I've ever laughed so much reading a book. Mirrah Mcgee brightens my life with her books, I know that if I'm feeling down or just having a bad day I can open one of her books and feel instantly better. Merith and Wesley are AMAZING 👏 A must read 📚
