Gavriel has taken one of the men I love, and he’s about to learn an important lesson.
Never piss off a succubus.
This is the final book in the Fallen University trilogy, a reverse harem romance with a slightly snarky heroine and four sexy, supernatural men. It includes cursing and lots of steam and is intended for readers 18+
Callie Rose is a bestselling author who loves to write books that will grab you by the feels and not let go till the very last page. She loves twisty plots, tortured bad boys, strong FMCs, and redemption stories where that shit is *earned*.
While I loved the first two books in this series, I think the third one left some to be desired. The plot is great, and I loved how it came along. Especially the ending, it was very satisfactory.
What I didn't like was Piper! It feels like she's walking backwards, there's literally no growth to her character. Well, apart from her powers that is.
She knowingly breaks the rules, yes I know her reasons are great and dire but no matter what she still broke them. Then when she isn't given a metaphorical medal of honour and a pat on the back, she throws a tantrum.
Person in Charge: "If you do this, you'll face severe consequences that you can't be saved from." Piper: "I understand." Person in Charge: "I wouldn't recommend doing it." Piper: "I understand." Person in Charge: *turns around* Piper: "we're doing it." ***Piper returns*** Person In Charge: "You broke the rules. Now you'll face the consequences!!" Piper: "What? But I did it for the good of mankind and myself..." Person in Charge: "You knew there'd be consequences." Piper: "Well yes you told me... but I didn't think it would apply to me because clearly everyone else is wrong."
It's all about how she and the ones closest to her are treated. I get that it's her story but at the same time, I would have loved to see her take some ownership instead of having the plot bending over backwards for her.
Well I liked parts of this but others did nothing for me. I like the fact that they finally come together as a team. I like that Hannah joins them and shocks them all with her fierceness. I like meeting the fallen who weren't bad. The big fight at the end was good and I liked the head custodian's. I didn't like the huge time jumps or the other custodians. They were not heroic or anything just big bullies in the end.
For the final book I really enjoyed this one, there was so much more actual story and development than the previous two. After saving the school and quite literally the world the gang gets no recognition, barely a thank-you and is told in no way will the Custodians help or go to the underworld to rescue Xero who was left behind. I mean after all he was more a part of the Underworld than others and even with his sacrifice of saving everyone-they could not look past his history smh. Stubborn old grumpy fools is what we learn the Custodian leadership is comprised of. After rescuing Xero with no help from anyone topside, Piper and her guys return to the Underworld to get her man. Of course they are successful in rescuing him and go back to life as usual until weeks later they are officially banished for missing their exams........ ummmmm what?!?! I was glad the whole book wasn’t just them trying to save Xero but I didn’t expect them to end up down below for a third time 😂 Honestly I think I would have given up on the Custodians at this point and just went on my life with my guys but Piper can’t let it go and will try and save the world yet again!! This was the most thrilling book of the series IMO and the ending couldn’t have been better!
Meh. I mean this book was probably the better of the three. Quick listen on audio book. There could be so much more depth and storyline besides all the smut. Like I get that she is a succubus and needs that sexual attention for power but the smut seems to be the main focus. Happy to be done this series and move on.
Fallen University: Year Three is the third and final book in the Fallen University series. This was my least favorite of the three books. Don't get me wrong, I thought the "adult" scenes and group scenes were super hot, but it got to a point where they just felt like filler and the actual storyline was sacrificed for the hanky panky. Such a small part of this book felt like it was actually furthering the story and building up to the big finale. It was really disappointing because so much happened in the prior two books. I even started to wonder if the author just ran out of story ideas and added all the extra HOTT scenes just to make the total word count she was aiming for. I finally started skimming them. The final big battle scene was even short.
Mostly because I have grown to love the characters and had a vested interest in them and completing their story, I am rating this book as a generous 3 stars but it's actually somewhere around 2.5-2.75. I still recommend this series but mostly for the first two books. You might end up skimming the third book just to get the resolution but overall it is worth it. These books are currently in KU so if you are a KU reader, it works out just fine. I gave book one 4 stars and book two 5 stars.
Ohhh no! Zero! That poor man has suffered so much and Piper will be damned if she allows him to suffer anymore. She is going back to the Underworld to get her man no matter if she has to do it on her own! Of course her men dont allow her to. Finally....Kai and Piper solidify their mating. That was awesome! Gavriel is closing in and they just cant let that happen. There will be nothing left. They hit a snag though...they get banished to the Underworld because The Custodians are stupid. Its up to them to recruit enough Fallen to take Gavriel out Custodians be damned. Can they swing this? Will Gavriel finally get dethroned?
This is the final book of the series. I really enjoyed most of it. There were times this book dragged on a little bit. Slow in parts. I still dont feel we knew enough about her men especially Kai and why he was so against being bonded with Piper. I know it worked out but I sorta want to know why he was an ahole. The ending was good but I didnt see any openings for more like this series which is a bummer because I really did like it. Hopefully she might consider it later.
This series has been intense and fast paced and definitely took the reader on an adventure. I enjoyed every moment of this story which continued where book 2 let off. The author did an excellent job with world building, creating fascinating characters you will love and giving us a plot that kept us hooked from beginning to end. The story was fun, creative and steamy and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of paranormal reverse harem romances.
The audiobook version was narrated by Lia Holland. She did an amazing job with the characters and brought them to life. She had great pace and timing and gave everyone varying voices. It was a pleasure listening to her narrate this novel. AudiobookObsession
Such an amazing ending to a series as usual! I love how they do everything they can to save Xero and I love how they get help from Michael and Vee. I hate what the headmaster and Custodians did to them. I love that even after being banished they still did everything they could to warn the school of the threat coming. I loved how her powers were super strong in the end after each of her men confessed their love and I love how they took out Gavriel and defeated his army. Sad this series is over but it was absolutely amazing!
Will I be reading this series again? No. But am I upset that I read this series? Also no.
It is a good series. I liked the smut, the banter, and the love between them. But I do have a favourite 😁 I could read a book simply about Kingston tbh 😍
Was the ending predictable? Yes kinda. But I do love a happy-ending 😁
I was only only 35% into this last book when I thought about quitting. I serously wanted nearly everyone in the school roasted in a pit of flaming sh*t! That's how ticked I was! But, I was determined to see it through to the end. I stuck with it, hoping it would get better.
There were some really cool parts, mainly anything to do with Hannah and all the colorful characters in the Underworld. I wish the author had spent more time on them instead of on the idiots at Fallen University. It would have been a way more entertaining series of books.
This is the last book in fallen series. It was exciting and explosive ending with lots of action and steam from Piper and the boys ( an let’s not forget fiery Hannah ). We see old and new characters showing us a little more background into the world of fallen university. It’s an amazing end to and exciting series. **Exceptionable I can’t believe it but this story has just got better. I was sucked in from chapter one and stop reading. Characters are amazing and have such unique personalities. An story took me on such adventure that I nearly cried when I reach the cliffhanger I can’t wait for next book.
This book is a must read, the way Callie has still grown the characters while also rounding the series to a close is brilliant. The way that piper and her gorgeous hot men grow together is shown so much in this book especially near the end when their boosts help piper ( can't say more here without giving big bits away) which you definitely need to read for yourself.
This was a good series. Medium/Fast burn reverse-harem. I would recommend if you are out of other things to read. It was a quick read but I felt the writing style diminished with each book. The first book had a good balance with plot/characters/sex/overall writing but then each book became more unstable after the next.
The individual traits of Piper's men and their struggles as a whole and individually brought the men together and allowed them to fully accept their bond to Piper and each other in this final book. It allowed Kingston; Kai; Xero; and of course Jayce to become more empathetic to Piper's own struggles and demons dealing with her succubus nature and the war she felt she was thrusting everyone into.
I was pleased the recovery mission to rescue Xero was addressed in the first few chapters allowing the plot to take down Gavriel to be the main focus of the story.
The ending is a lot to be desired. I would have liked to give the series 5 stars but I just cannot. The story is well written and the struggles Piper felt are relative; the frontations with the Gavriel were well thought out- although I could have sworn Piper was his daughter - but the ending itself is disappointing.
All in all, this was a good series, I just wished the final chapters gave a little more oompf! I mean what about Hannah's HEA ? The envoys? What about clearing their names at FU & the rest of the students? I just wanted more!!

I liked the premise for this series, and I felt like the succubus thing was an excellent way to explain the RH aspect.
I just feel like the series, and this third book especially was trying to do too much and felt rushed. I think that, especially with the slower pacing of the first two novels where we are seeing the guys come to terms with the bond, this felt like a whole lot of action, that well, wasn’t that interesting. I found myself skipping pages during the fight scenes and just waiting for the story to get to the end.
I also feel like a lot of stuff was glossed over or unresolved so we could get to the battle. Sonja’s storyline had such a wimpy resolution, especially since no one seemed to care Gavariel had found a way to communicate with students directly. Also, even a line or two explaining why the custodians placed such a high value on the exams (and not just “they’re paper-pushing nerds. LOL.”) would have improved the book so much. It’s not uncommon to see the good side hampered by the rules when the bad guys just ignore them. It would have been great to have it be some rule to keep the universe's balance or something that gave weight to it.
Piper has to go back. One of her men was left behind and nothing and no one will keep her from getting him back. Then Gavriel needs to be dealt with once and for all.
If possible, I would have rated this a 3.5. The premise was a good one. The execution wasn't as good. The fate of the world still depended on Piper and her men too much. Something I should be used too but still irritating. More irritating was the Custodian organization and its ruling council. Please explain to me why Piper and her guys would bother with them at all? Save the world, do our job, sure but that doesn't mean that we won't punish you to the extreme. No exceptions. Frankly, the demons in the underworld were much more likable than anyone at the university or among the custodians. As much as I enjoy Callie Rose, this was not my favorite of her series.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another fantastic series by Callie Rose, this is now my 3rd series of hers I’ve read (I’m eagerly making my way through them!) and it did not disappoint!
PNR isn’t normally a trope I read, in fact I’ve only ever read one other PNR series but when I read the blurb for this it drew me in and I’m so glad I read it because Piper and her guys will stick with me for a while! I loved the pace, the drama and love between her guys - and of course, the steam! There was so much of it, which hello I of course loved, but it didn’t take anything away from the plot or the story.
Jayce, oh sweet Jayce, I fell in love with him from the start, he really is a breath of fresh air! But Xero, Kingston and Kai were equally lush, they all complimented each other and Piper so well.
First off - what does Callie have against Utah? It's mentored multiple times throughout the book that Utahs landscape is weird and strange and makes the characters uncomfortable - all without any reasons as to why that is. Utah is one of America's most popular landscape tourist attractions because of its beauty.... The build up to the resolution was drawn out until the last 20 minutes of the book where the Big Bad was simply defeated and they're HEA is spelled out. After 3 books full of adventure, I had anticipated a more thorough ending. The spice is well written 👌 The FMC somehow doubts everyone the whole time - even after 2+ years of being bonded. There's quite a few discrepancies between the books if you binge read them like I did, they're easy to catch. Books 1 & 2 were awesome. This tasty harem and those two books make the series worth the read!
Title: Fallen University: Year Three Author: Calli Rose Format: Audio Narrator: Lia Holland Genre: Paranormal Romance, Reverse Harem Standalone: No Read books 1 and 2 first Part of a Series: Book 3 in the Fallen University trilogy POV: Piper Steam Level: Very hot 5/5
An epic end to a fabulous series. Fallen University: Year Three is literally a battle between good and evil with so many shades of gray. Callie Rose created an amazing world and characters in this epic trilogy. I loved Piper and her bond-mates, each unique and complimentary. The action and adventure in this book sucks you in and keeps you reading until the very end.
I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsession. This is my honest and voluntary review.
This series has been crazy. Crazy good. Crazy steamy. Crazy intense. But I loved it. The narration continued to be excellent. I have nothing bad to say about Lia Holland's performance. I look forward to more from her in future. And the overall flow and plot of this story just impressed me. I thought the series itself was was wrapped up so well and the resolution to the cliffhanger in book two was only the beginning.
I have been so blown away with the three series I have listened to written by Callie Rose. I look forward to what she's going to come out with next.
Hm, I really enjoyed this series. There was plenty of action and story to keep the readers wanting more. But I am sort of glad that it is finally over. Any more and it would have made the series too complicated. I do wish there would have been a little more for the epilogue, but it's fine. It did leave off at a good place anyway. The characters in this last book grew so much since the first book and it was awesome to be a part of it. The relationship between Piper and her guys was the perfect balance between sweet and spicy. This was really a fun read and a great series. It was a nice conclusion to the series.
Fallen University: Year Three by Callie Rose is a reverse harem paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lia Holland.
I absolutely love Callie’s books! They always leave me begging for more. I loved the chemistry between Piper, Kingston, Jayce, Xero, and Kai. Callie did a great job wrapping up the trilogy.
Lia did a great job on the narration. I loved that she used different voices/tones for each character. It really brought the story to life.
I would recommend this book if you like reverse harems or paranormal romances.
This series was exactly what I needed. I appreciate the way Cassie Rose writes. She doesn't include much nonsense or fluff. I never have that annoying part 70% through with miscommunication or the weird epilogue with babies and marriage. It's just so to the point. They saved the world and boned hard. I will for sure give some of her other books a chance. Now don't go into this expecting to be wowed or the best-written romance in the world. I'm so glad I read these and the audiobook was great too. I loved Piper's character. She was fierce and it seemed realistic. Need a light sexy read. YES!
5 stars for Fallen University year 3 by Callie Rose. This is the 3rd and final book of the trilogy. This was a terrific ending to this trilogy. I loved every page of this story. I was hooked from the beginning till the very end. The suspense in this story had me on the edge of my seat. I loved everything that happened between Piper and her guys. I don’t wanna stay to much cause I could give something away. I will say that is you are a fan of the reverse harem paranormal genre then this is a book for you. I will end by saying this trilogy was absolutely perfect.
