Book two of the Titan series by Sierra Cartwright
Trevor is a Dom and didn’t realise he was looking for a submissive until he meets Shelby at a poker game.
Master David is Shelby’s friend and starts a poker game he knew he couldn’t win and when that happen he offers Shelby if he loses or Trevor pay 25k into his struggling law firm that help people with not much financial support.
Shelby agrees to the arrangement to spend 1 week as Master Trevor’s sub.
Absolutely loved this second instalment in series. Shelby was struggling with balancing work and life especially with dealing with divorcing parents and them having children.
Trevor realises very quickly that he’s falling for Shelby and will struggle when their agreement is over.
This book is so hot especially with Shelby being so new to the lifestyle and Trevor teaching her the way of a bdsm relationship

5 Star Review His To Love (Titans Quarter # 2) by Sierra Cartwright
As I have come to expect from a book by Ms. Cartwright, it was extremely well written and flowed well. This is the second book in the series but can definitely be read as a stand alone
I fell hard and fast for Trevor Lawton and Shelby Salazar, both separately and as a couple; Trevor, there was something about him that ticked all my boxes.
Trevor is determined to avoid relationships at all cost but from the moment he sees Shelby, he is determined to possess her. This was a hot and passionate story with the chemistry between Trevor and Shelby intense and off the charts.
Having led a difficult life, Shelby prefers to keep away from commitments and she sees in Trevor a man who controls everything around him and she is overwhelmed by him. I loved how the strict dominant showed a gentle side when dealing with submissive Shelby.
Much to his surprise, Trevor begins to fall for Shelby. Is seven days enough to change ones’ life forever? When their agreed upon time is up, what will happen? Is there a chance that they can have a future? Or or are they both destined to remain clueless to what is right in front of them? Can Shelby overcome her fears?
There were times that I was frustrated by these two, but I knew that they would eventually work things out. His To Love was an entertaining read that drew me in and kept me riveted from the first to the last chapter.

I’m so in love with Trevor! I loved how he and Shelby got together after he won a bet from his friend, David. Shelby was his sub to train for a week—and what a week it was.
Both having their own baggage, Trevor and Shelby had an immediate physical connection. But as their weeklong training sessions progressed, they got to know each other—and began to like each other—to both their own surprise.
Shelby’s girlfriends, Fiona and Hannah were a hoot. I love their strong protection of each other, but they also weren’t afraid to speak their minds. The best girlfriends in the world.
Back to Trevor and Shelby. As you can guess, their great week didn’t end with an HEA—that took some time. I was in tears as they both processed their feelings for one another, while reconciling their issues with past relationships.
I love the catch-ups with fellow Titans we met in previous books in this series. Every time I read a book in this series, I just want to catch a plane to New Orleans to eat and drink hurricanes. Well done, Sierra!

I really enjoyed meeting Trevor and Shelby. Neither was looking for something deep or long lasting but isn't that when fate gives you your hearts desire?
His to Love is second in Sierra Cartwright's Titans Quarter series and I thoroughly enjoyed Trevor and Shelby's journey. Ms. Cartwright gave us two characters that were not looking for love. So when it found them they struggled to accept what it means. I love that Ms. Cartwright turned gender roles on their head in that Shelby struggled much more than Trevor. I loved seeing them find the courage to grab a future together in spite of their fears.
This is a well written enjoyable read. The chemistry felt real and the emotions were believable. I loved entering this world Ms. Cartwright has created and look forward to where she will take us next.

“I want your submissive” and with that, our story begins, and what a hot and sexy story it is. Of course, there are emotions that make it even hotter and sexier, and our characters handle those….. well badly at first, before they come around!
Shelby has dabbled in BDSM but never really immersed herself. Life and experiences have shown her some pretty bleak relationships, so she guards her emotions tightly. Trevor, with his dominant and sexy ways blasts through all her defenses before she realizes what has happened. While Trevor didn’t expect to fall for Shelby, the sweet sub appeals to him, and he is willing to take a chance. The chemistry they have is amazing, and they seem in sync for most matters. After their agreed upon time together comes to end, they mess things up. Meddling friends and acquaintances make sure they at least have a chance to figure things out, instead of avoiding each other

This book kept me up late at night because I didn't want to put it down. Shelby has issues with relationships but being with Trevor is something she wants to try. They have a week together and Trevor is determined to make it a week filled with pleasure for both of them. But insecurities weigh heavy on Shelby's mind and while she's loving all the feelings Trevor is providing, she's also terrified and runs! At times, I wanted to smack her but I understood her feelings. Her friends were awesome and they really made her think about her feelings towards Trevor. While Trevor never wanted a lasting relationship, he was at a lose when Shelby left. Can these two work out their feelings and get back together? Totally loved this story and it will quickly become a favorite!

2 BDSM Stars
Eh. Only read it because I won a copy, otherwise I probably would have never read it just because of it being a BDSM book. I've read plenty of them and i cringe in every one, and as soon as collars are mentioned, I'm out. If it was play just in bed it can be hot, but if it's a lifestyle, it's too much for me, and that's exactly what this book is, and I'm pretty sure this author only writes about. (No offense to anyone, this just isn't to my tastes)
There was literally no plotline or anything, literally pretty much everything was about BDSM, so that was already dragging on. The heroine acted like a virgin who had never been touched before, even though she definitely was not, and had been in scenes before, so her innocent facade and questions were annoying. The hero was eh. Nothing interesting, but i did like how he was more possessive of her over the course of the book.
Even though I don't like reading about BDSM, that had no influence on my rating. The book wasn't good to be honest, and I only save my 1 stars for books I hate. There was no plot, no emotion, no chemistry, the BDSM play and how he was teaching her was very repetitive and read more like a manual. The sex was boring and the "foreplay", I never thought i would say this, took WAY too long. Like just have sex already, but then again, It was way too bland to even enjoy that. Overall, just an eh book.

His to Love continues the stories about members of The Quarter, an exclusive club in New Orleans. It's full of vivid descriptions of the city and its customs as well as the surrounding countryside - which for me, always add to my enjoyment of any story! The couple featured is Trevor, a friend of Mason and fellow Titan, and Shelby, who's a close friend of Hannah, so take we catch up with what's happening in their lives. Despite all these connections, the book stands completely on its own. Trevor is an experienced Dom and when he is attracted to Shelby, he goes after her in a fairly unorthodox manner. She is a newbie to the lifestyle but so fascinated with him that she agrees to be his sub for a week. I loved their scenes and the care he takes with her. Her nerves, excitement and ultimate bliss come through beautifully, as do his growing feelings. Now if only they'd remembered that communication is key to every relationship ... I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series and highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in BSDM.

Shelby wants what only Trevor can give her. She has been attracted to the man for ages and when the chance comes to be together it is taken. It may only be for a week, but Trevor is going to make it memorable. Soon emotions begin to make themselves known and Shelby is not ready, and Trevor is blindsided. Will these two find what they long for or has their chance passed them by already?
Once again, this author has given us a wonderful story with strong characters. Shelby and Trevor just need a little help along the way. I enjoyed seeing them find their way to happiness. Both Shelby and Trevor each have their own demons to deal with, yet they find solace in each other and must face the truth and decide to follow their hearts or fears. Not only did I enjoy the main characters, but the supporting characters had a lot to say and made the book all that more interesting. I loved the friendships that are portrayed in this book alongside the romance. This is a sweet and hot read that has you rooting for the power of love.

From the opening line in this second book of the Titan’s Quarter series the reader is in for one heck of a story that reads as a mixture of old-world elegance with a contemporary flare. Shelby is a relative newbie to the world of bdsm as she has dipped her foot into the pond but has held herself back because of her lackluster relationships with men and being a divorcee does not help. Trevor is an alpha dom who is immediately taken in by Shelby and thrown by how quickly he is willing to fall for her. As a wager in a poker game will determine their respective futures for a limited time, these two are in for an awakening as they begin on a journey that will lead them….you have to read the book to find out more. This is another engaging storyline from Sierra Cartwright with likeable characters that pull you into their world. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.

WOW! What a gamble... in so many ways.... that was a great read right from the start! Trevor knows what he wants and is willing to bet his way to another man's "submissive".... how amazing for Shelby. I've never been so jealous of a hand in Texas Hold 'Em!
The bet was for only a week, but the chemistry between these two is amazing. How can a week be all there is... Shelby isn't a very experience submissive, but what an incredible Dom can do with a newbie sub is truly shown here.

Sierra Cartwright has brought us two very strong personalities in this romance that are what kinky dreams are quite literally made of. Master Trevor, a wealthy philanthropist, won Shelby and her submission for a week in a card game at the club. He was mesmerized from the time he saw her kneeling at the feet of who he thought was her play partner. Come to find out, she doesn't have much experience and that fact alone has him dealing with feelings he hasn't had in some time. And then there's Shelby who's leery of relationships, volunteers to help those who's lives are devastated by divorce, a truly loyal friend, and like I said, fairly new to BDSM but has a great adventurous spirit but a lack of confidence. Both our Hero and heroine are carrying childhood baggage that could get in the way of such great chemistry. I just loved this book.

Heroine work as a mediator and handles lots of divorce cases, is herself divorced and comes from a broken family, so she has a problem believing in happy and healthy relationship. Hero waited all his life for the right moment and right woman. Well, I congrats his courage and determination when he finally met her and made a decision.
Interesting how with the similar structure to other stories Sierra manages to show completely different dynamics and relationship. Each couple is unique even if meets with the similar obstacles or choices.
I think I would like to see more on Fiona's story but looks like she is not seeing a Titan so this will have to be left outside of spotlight.

💌 — reading this book as i write this review and i’m not going to lie, i’m getting bored. it really isn’t drawing me in and i feel like i don’t have a connection with the characters. i don’t want to leave this on DNF, so I’ll continue and see what happens. OKAY HERES THE REAL REVIEW: the beginning of this book is quite boring but as you read further, it isn’t bad. very much did underestimate it. the smut is great, like you will get horny and i did feel like i understood the characters. personally that is very important to me when reading a book.

I admit to loving NOLA and this story brings back the heat of crescent city to the forefront. Trevor is rich a dominant and a member of the Titans. One night at The Quarter during a card game Shelby is gambled off to help out a friend who needs money for his free legal clinic. You will love the characters and their personal struggles will explain who they are at this moment in time and how they can have an HEA. This story will enthrall you and you will feel the heat of their exchanges as well as their intensity. I honestly volunteered to review an arc.

In true Sierra style, this was a book I couldn't put down. Her characters are totally relatable and people I would want to call friends! Their struggles are real, their emotions connect, and their passion is off-the-charts!

I enjoyed this book and really did not want to put it down! I loved Trevor and Shelby from the beginning and was rooting for their HEA. They both have a past to overcome. Can their future include each other though? This book was slow to get going for me. Did that mean I liked it less? No. I am just use to more from the author, a faster pace. Will I read more? YOU BET!
In my opinion this book can read as a stand alone and you would not be lost.

This is an awesome book. Well written. I am a big fan of Sierra Cartwright I know I will get a great story when I see her name on a book. This one proves my statement. I encourage everyone to get this book. For me it was a quick easy read. This one is worth your time and effort. Please remember it is a BDSM story if that isn't your type of story this one isn't for you. I loved this book and the characters are great. I love Shelby and Trevor.

Sierra Cartwright is one of my one click authors. If you buy her books, you get authentic characters, hot BDSM and an actual story line. This book is definitely no exception. I love all the characters, and immediately want to read about the side characters stories. With Sierra you ALWAYS get safe, sane and consensual. I appreciate knowing that when I start a book with BDSM. There are definitely no posers here. Well written as always.

Shelby and Trevor relationship was so good. I loved the respect the each found for each other. Sierra Cartwright once was flawless in her story. What a great story then to win someone on a bet/ or to give yourself as a “Chip” because you believe in the project. Plus you get to catch up with others from this series and that’s is always a bonus for me. I high;y recommend.

I read this book because the first in the series was ok. It was a simple plot, but enjoyable. This is like a recycled version, not as good. You know it’s bad when the side characters are more interesting.
