Judgment Day: A Religious, Political and Scientific Apocalyptical Thriller

What would you believe if every TV and media stream were hacked, proclaiming that God was coming to earth tomorrow? Would your thinking change if an asteroid on a collision course with earth was discovered a day later? How would you feel if some of the supernatural events that followed matched your religion while others fit more closely with other faiths? Is this really God, and if so, whose? President Abigail Banister is no stranger to challenges, being the first woman to ever win the office, however none have proved quite as challenging as this. Conflicts erupt worldwide as some leaders aid Abby in trying to prevent mankind's annihilation. Others plot against her, willing to embrace the end for a promise of everlasting peace. And covering it all is narcissist CBN host Larry Knewell, driven only to boost ratings. Can Abby's plan succeed or is mankind's fate already predetermined?

The SOM International network consists of kindred-hearted national leaders who assist each other to advance the gospel. These leaders have a “spirit of martyrdom” . . . they trust God to lead them in effective outreach as they live in restricted and hostile regions. These leaders are the “boots on the ground.” They are a credible witness of Jesus Christ and have much faith by leading lives of courage. They are leaders who are discipling other leaders. The regions they serve have limited or no access to the Word of God.

A surreal novel mixing the real world... with God's return, and the possibility of UFO's. If you are open-minded, its a fun read with lots to think about!

I loved this book! I didn't know what to expect and I was not disappointed. From the very beginning, the author took me on a journey with many twists and turns that left me trying to guess what was going to happen next or how it would all end. There are many scenic side roads on this journey because the author does a masterful job of providing vivid descriptions of the action. I marveled at the author's imagination, the amount of research that had to have been done to write in such detail, and the wide range of topics in this book. I wanted to peek at the ending many times throughout the story but didn't want to spoil the thrill.
