Wow... it’s hard to describe how much I appreciated and loved this book, from start to finish! Lately I’ve found myself falling back into some unhealthy habits, and each chapter was a little wake-up call for some aspect of my life. I like how the book thoughtfully reflects on Dana and Lou’s personal experiences in relation to some aspect of living a creative life.
I only found Wild We Roam on YouTube about a month ago, and have fallen in love with their videos. They are so passionate and purposeful in all they do, which is inspirational to watch (sorry for sounding cheesy, but it’s true!). Listening to the audiobook takes on a more intimate tone as Dana reads about their lives and struggles in the past. I was surprised to learn Dana does not come from an artistic background, and yet she has become a wonderful artist through creative practice! They are transparent and genuine when discussing things they have had to deal with as individuals and as a couple. Also, the challenges are a great way to dive into a creative new year.
If you find yourself stuck in a rut, lacking a creative outlet or passion, or want to begin a journey of conscious self improvement, read this book! I can almost guarantee something will resonate with you. Live Creatively is a special book I will carry with me for a long time to come.

I just listened to the audiobook in one sitting and I loved it so much! Dana's reading is so relaxing and her writing style so authentic and honest, it was perfect. I can't wait to reread it as eBook and explore the website as I tackle each of the challenges over the next months.

I'm in my early twenties and my partner and I just moved to a new city away from family and friends, like Lou and Dana did. For the past two months I have been struggling to settle in and instead of trying new things, I have been spending way too much time at home on Netflix and YouTube. My new routine is quite stressful, and I have been using that as an excuse to neglect some good habits I used to have, such as sketching, cooking and exercising. So, yes, I need to build more grit and new habits, calm my thoughts and spend more time reading and less time on my phone. Can't think of a better way to realise this and face this challenge than with Wild We Roam, thank you for sharing your story!!

What a great book, from start to finish!!! Dana and Lou’s creative journey is inspiring, their 8 30 day challenges look like a great way to kickstart 2020 and the book itself makes a compelling case to be thoughtful on how you engage with each other and technology. Loved the cookbook ❤️.

This book came to me at the perfect time in my life. A younger me would’ve brushed it off. Listened to the audio book, and it was stated that every chapter may not resonate with every reader. But I can say every chapter resonated with me. I read this book at a time when I was ready to listen to what it had to say.

Oh. My. God.
I was absolutely gobsmacked at how beautiful AND practical this book is! It was extremely easy to read and I just flew right through it! Now time for the tough part: The challenges! Luckily they are broken down so that anyone can give them a try and the resources make it really easy. Dana has written this book so beautifully and captured even deep and heavy topics in a digestible way fit for anyone. There are also warnings of certain topics before they are mentioned which is great for anyone who needs to be careful of triggers when reading. Great read! I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Especially people that don't consider themselves a "creative" usually.

This is such an inspiring book! Talking openly about all of their experiences and struggles, Dana takes us along on Wild We Roam's journey to becoming full-time creatives. With monthly challenges and a community of like-minded people this book is highly interactive and I'm looking forward to trying the challenges myself.

It was what you expect from a Youtuber book. It makes sense but you need the context of having followed the channel for a while to really appreciate it.
The writing style wasn't my favourite and I found there were far too many subheadings but the content of the book I loved.
