This pretty little hippie human is driving me crazy. Two years ago, I had her beneath me, howling my name, until she left.

Big deal. Females have always been my bane.

I would do anything to get her off my mind.

Erase her face from my memory.

Her scent from my nose.

But she lingers.

Taunting me. Tugging at me. Driving me insane.

When I see her again in New Mexico, my wolf wants me to claim her. But I’ll be damned if I’m gonna let her distract me from pack business again.

Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone...

“Alpha’s Sun” is the story of Foxfire’s mother Sunny and Tank’s Father Titus, a fifty something couple with history. “Alpha’s Challenge” featured Foxfire and Tank’s story as well as an introduction to Sunny and Titus’s characters. A chance meeting in Taos sends sparks flying between the quirky human and wolf shifter, proving you are never too old for lust and love. Sunny is an endearing character with her quirky ways as well as vagabond life style, approaching everyone with love, light and a bright sunny smile. Titus is a big, brawny, dominant wolf shifter with a painful past and a pack leader who scorns mating with humans. Burned by his first mate, Titus is broody, a man of few words and suffers from trust as well as commitment issues.

Professionally written, fast-paced and highly engaging, the story-line flows seamlessly with witty dialogue, a generous helping of drama and plenty of steamy between the sheets action. Foxfire and Tank make brief appearances as well as other mixed shifter characters from previous entries. New paramilitary shifter characters are introduced and will be the recipients of a new spinoff series. Additionally, another top-secret spinoff series is in the making, teasing fans of the original series. As with the other novels in this series, “Alpha’s Sun” is a standalone story, portrayed in dual POV and includes a welcomed epilogue.

“Alpha’s Sun” is a highly entertaining completion to a great series, with a promise of two exciting new spinoffs in the future.

What a kick ass read. Titus and Sunny certainly brought the heat for the over 40s. Plenty of witty banter, sexual chemistry and the growly goodness I love from these werewolf stories. So fantastic. Definitely recommend and looking forward to more stories in this series.

I received an arc of this book.

This was a decent story.. i would recommend reading the others in the series.. you can read it as a standalone but if you wanna see past characters.. like Sunny's daughter.. and Titus son..

Sunny and Titus have a hot and heavy one night stand.. both have been broken from the past relationship.. so when Sunny just leaves a note after their night.. Titus was alittle annoyed he doesn't know why.. 2 years have passed and he is on a mission for his pack and bumps into his son's mother in law who is Sunny.. he is a jerk.. and hot cold towards her until another guy starts flirting with her.. he wants her now.. 😑😑😑
You would think this mature couple would be done with the whole back and forth bs... nopem. Alot of push and pull from both.. and what makes Sunny leave for good when she over hears her man say some hurtful words..

He knows he fucked up and he picks her over his pack..

Why not a higher ranting... the whole pushing away.. and it never said if they had other partners during the 2 years..

No ow/of drama, sexy times, secondary chara, no virgins

Recommend- maybe

Fun, fast shifter romance.
I love this duo's quirky characters, and Sunny Hines is a great addition to the roster. She approaches middle age with humor and zest. Despite some soul-crushing romantic disappointments, she's not jaded or cynical, just a little wary of getting burned again.
Titus is a great silver fox, sexy and self-confident, but wary of a relationship with Sunny for his own reasons.
There are wonderfully humorous moments, like Titus trying yoga for the first time, and Sunny's New Age reaction when Titus's wolf peeps out at her ("spirit animal," indeed).
It's delightful to see these two dance around each other and find their HEA. It's also nice to see middle-aged characters deal with the insecurities that a new romance brings to the fore without behaving immaturely. They have fears and flaws, but they're never TSTL, which is refreshing.
The story's short, with one central conflict the characters have to resolve, but it's not poorer for it, and it's part of a larger story arc regarding the shifter clans. I'm intrigued by the black wolf clan and look forward to their books!

I loved this book and the whole damn series. I hated to see it end but was also happy to hear that we will continue to see these two beautiful authors write future stories together.

With Alpha's Sun, we get to unbelievable characters that the attraction, heat, and total sex appeal jumps off the pages. Sunny and Titus could not be any different in every way, but this is what makes them perfect for each other. Sunny helps calm and smooth out Titus. And Titus keeps Sunny from floating around. Even when these two are fighting, you have to love them.

Alpha's Sun is a beautiful story to this series. I loved it and will be rereading it over and over.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

The main characters may be in their 50's but that does not make this book any less hot!! Sunny's daughter has married and her new father-in-law is hot to her so they have a fling. One hot weekend later they go their separate ways only to run into one another again a couple years later. He fights his attraction so hard because he is a wolf shifter and she is human. His wolf has other ideas though twisting him into a hot mess making it necessary for him to have to make some really hard decisions. A fantastic romance that shows that age is nothing but a number when it comes to love. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

I have to admit I wasn't sure about this book because it featured Sunny, who in previous books seemed a bit too out there for my taste. However, I must say that Sunny definitely found her match with Titus. Well that is once they both stopped fighting their attraction for one another. This was a very steamy romance featuring an older couple. Sunny is actually Foxfire's mother while Titus is Tank's father from Alpha's Challenge. Overall this was a great addition to the series.

Alpha’s Sun by Renee Rose & Lee Savino is book 13 in the Bad Boy Alphas Series. This is the story of Sunny and Titus. I have not read the previous book so for me this was a standalone book.
Sunny and Titus met a few years ago and had a very hot encounter by she slipped away. Now about two years later, Titus is on a Pack assignment when he sees Sunny again. This time though he is having a hard time with her trying to slip away.
This couple was a older main couple which I love to read once in awhile. I really enjoyed their story and hope to read more from the authors.

Sunny Hines is everything Titus needs to stay away from. Titus already made a mistake taking a mate when he was young and although it gave him his son, it ruined his life. Sunny has Titus fighting the mating urge again but there are rules about mating and Sunny is a human. When push comes to shove though will Titus act on his instincts or will he walkaway from the woman who is meant to be his?

I liked the beginning of this one a lot but where Titus is concerned it got a bit angsty. Overall entertaining read.

I have enjoyed this series since the beginning. However, this one fell short for me. I didn't connect with the characters, the story felt rushed compared to the others. I did enjoy seeing a few of the past characters though. Even though this book didn't work for me I still very much appreciate these authors and their hard work in creating a very unique series.

What a BULL'S EYE read for me!!!

I loved how authors, Renee Rose and Lee Savino incorporated an older smexy couples in "Alpha's Sun" with a come hither love match and second chances twist. Titus, our hero is an alpha male wolf whose been hurt before but years later his wolf want him to claim the one that got away, heroine and human named Sunny Hines who is nothing but complete sunshine to his commitment phobic nature!

I enjoyed reading their story and plan to read the other books in this series

5 mouthwatering second chances stars for this older and sexy couple!

4.25⭐️ First we get a BBW/Shifter romance now we get a Silver/Shifter Romance! Shout out to Renee Rose and Lee Savino for inclusivity. Sunny is one of the most uniquely made characters in the series and deserves her HEA. Altogether, a fun low-risk read. I’m not a fan of the third act breakup but for this, book I’ll accept it. Main note: More plot please!

I’VE GOT SUNSHINE. I GOT ALL THE LIGHT I NEED

Alpha's Sun is a stand-alone second-chance shifter romance. No cheating or cliff-hangers. It will have people from the Phoenix and Tucson packs, along with several new wolf shifters. It also had Tank and Foxfire, along with Titus, Tank’s father, and Sunny, Foxfire’s mother. The story is full of emotions, angst, betrayal, conflicts, and second chances. It will bring the issue of shifters and humans becoming mates and losing a place within the pack.

Titus made the mistake of being with a human and having a child, and that error cost him his pack. When Barbara left him and Tank, he had to start over, and it isn’t something he would want to repeat. Sent to New Mexico by Alpha Green to try and locate one of Data-X labs, he will run into Sunny, Foxfire’s mother, and it sets his wolf to howling. There is the undeniable chemistry between them, but he can’t risk losing his pack. Titus is caught between a rock and a hard place, attracted to Sunny, but knowing they can’t be together.

Sunny is a free-spirit, modern-day hippie that travels with the art community, selling her wares, living in an airstream, and driving an old WV bus. She has the ability to see things and refers to Titus as having a wolf spirit—oh how right she is, except it isn’t just a spirit animal.

“Titus is like his spirit animal—the wolf. He’s meant to roam free. He’s a hunter, but once he caught me, he didn’t know what to do with me.”

The chemistry between Titus and Sunny sizzles off the pages, and it is something he tries to fight against, and his wolf wants. When they get together, the sex is the best for both of them, and the wolf wants to claim her as his mate. Titus is fighting a battle of keeping her safe, and also protecting each other from one another. Humans and wolves aren’t to be together, and he doesn’t want to lose his pack, but he needs her too.

“I’m not playing that game, big boy. I’m not playing any game with you. If you want me, come and get it. But if you’re still not ready, don’t waste my time. I have a life to live.”

How far is Titus willing to go to be with Sunny, protect her, even from himself? When he is with her, feeling she could be threatened, or that another male is present, his need to be with her is stronger than his desire for his pack. He will even go to her yoga class to keep watch over her—will her words become more than just meditation, but what he and his wolf want?

“Pay attention to timing makes all the difference. Don’t push when something’s not ready. Don’t hesitate when something’s ripe. As you move through life, ask the question—is the timing right for this? Should I bide my time or should I pounce? When is time to release the old? When is time to bring in the new?”

The story is a great addition to the Bad Boy Alphas series and proves that love, chemistry, and emotions go beyond human and shifter with Titus and Sunny. The story has explicit sex scenes, some mystery and suspense, and second chances for a couple that is both in their fifties.

This one made me happy on so many levels. First you have Titus; the grumpy, standoffish father of Tank. He's gruff, stern, and slightly standoffish. Then you have Sunny; the hippy, fun-loving mother of Foxfire. They are complete opposites, yet the pull between them is undeniable. The interactions between them will bring a smile to your face and heat up your ladybits.

Now on to why I loved this one so much. Sunny and Titus are both in their 50s. That right there was a huge draw to me because I'm almost there... The baggage they bring from past hurts is honest and believable. The way that Sunny tries to stay cheerful and lives her life for herself is who I aspire to be. She is past her childbearing years, but not old enough to want to sit back and relax. She is independent, strong, trusts her gut, is willing to accept herself and all those around her, and tries to make the world a better place for those she loves while being content in her place. Titus is protective, has a desire to solve problems, doesn't take a lot of crap, but is not quite as sure of himself and his role in the world. The character development is completely different when writing older characters than it is writing younger ones, and these characters are totally believable. Most romance novels have characters that are both broken and strong, but I feel like the men do a lot of the "repairing the damaged female" in a lot of them. This one felt different to me. Sunny isn't weak even with her past hurts. She seems stronger than Titus in some ways. It is almost like she is fixing him more than he is fixing her.

Another reason I loved this one so much is the passion between them and the fact that they are so open about it. There were so many scenes where they don't hide their attraction and affection, even if it makes those around them slightly uncomfortable, and those moments spoke to me. I love the fact that this story shows that those things don't fade away no matter how old you are.

Then you have the fact that this is still a continuation of the overall plot that has been woven throughout this series. There is still danger, people to save, people to destroy, and secrets to be revealed. The characters from past stories continue to show up in some way so we still get to enjoy them and the lives they are living now.

This is an amazing addition to this sexy series. The writing is flawless, as always, the sexy scenes will heat you right up, and the HEA will melt your heart. If you haven't started this series, I ask you what are you waiting for? It's a must read for all shifter lovers! And while the stories are stand alones to a point, I recommend reading them in order to get the full enjoyment out of this world that has been created by two of the best romance authors out there.

Sweet read

A very sweet sexy read. I loved Sunny, we all wish we could just go with the flow and be who we want. Sunny is so true to herself she is my hero. Titus waded through the waves and finally gets it together! They are so cute together and show that you might be middle aged but you can still have a hot sex life!

Fabulous Shifter book

Ok this is the end of the series and it contains a little bit on a spinoff series that I am really looking forward to. This particular book has Titus Sr who is the father of a Shifter character in a previous book and he gets together with Sunny who is the mom of one of the fox Shifter females. Both are in their 50s, but there is certainly life left in them and they are hot together, there is a really wonderful HEA and my only regret is that I have to wait for a few weeks before I can read the first book in the spin off series.

I've read this whole series in the past two months and loved it. I want more. There are plenty of steamy sex scenes, intriguing plots, and the characters are well developed. The females are strong and the alpha men love their women. There's no cheating or abuse. If there's any kinky stuff it's consensual.
This book segues into a new series of black-ops wolf shifter mercenaries.

BE STILL MY HEART!!!
Title: Alpha’s Sun
Series: Bad Boy Alphas
Author: Renee Rose & Lee Savino
Designation: Book 13 of Series, Short Novel(Approx 170 pages), No Cliffhanger, Can Be Read As Stand-alone (See notation below) #paranormal #romance #wolfshifters #silverfoxhero #olderhumanheroine
My Rating: Five Awesome Stars*****
*All the books in the Bad Boy Alphas can be read as standalones. However, this reviewer recommends reading the stories sequentially to enrich your reading experience and avoid possible spoilers.

Be still my ancient heart! I loved, loved, loved Alpha's Sun! I've been a diehard Renee Rose fan for years, so I had zero reservations about buying and trying a book co-written with Lee Savino, but I had no idea I would become so addicted to the Bad Boy Alpha Series. And now, I'm a Lee Savino fan, too! I'm the proud owner of all thirteen books(to date) in the collection and loved them all. But - yeah, yeah, there's always a but - Alpha’s Sun completely captured my heart. I’m an older reader, almost 70 years young, and have been a voracious reader for at least 65 of those years. My tastes in literature have always been eclectic, and I enjoy a wide variety of genres. However in the past 10 years, my tastes have leaned more toward romance, especially love stories featuring older protagonists, but novels with more mature/experienced heroes and heroines are far and few between. Newsflash, authors - readers over 40 actually outnumber younger readers, and though we enjoy reading about people of all ages finding their happily ever after, we want love, adventure, and happy endings, too! And that’s exactly what Rose and Savino delivered in Alpha’s Sun! This story had everything I adore in great paranormal romance - perilous danger, heart-pounding action, spine-tingling suspense, poignant drama, agonizing angst, undeniable attraction, explosive passion, steamy romance, a silver fox hero, a beautiful spunky older heroine, and so much more! lol... I immediately fell in love with the female protagonist, Sunny Hines, a free spirited flower child with a heart of gold. Sunny was an absolute delight. We actually met her earlier in the series when she was introduced as Foxfire’s mother in Alpha’s Challenge, Book 4 of the series, and if you haven’t read Tank and Foxfire’s story, you should because it was fabulous! The male protagonist of Alpha’s Sun is a wolf shifter named Titus we also met in Book 4 as Tank’s father. Yup, that’s right; Tanks’s dad and Foxfire’s mom briefly hooked up! Lol... But both characters had two lifetimes’ worth of emotional baggage and nothing ever came of their ships passing in the night affair - until now! Sunny was exactly like her name implies, sunny and carefree, but she was also independent, quirky, free spirited, sensual, and a breath of fresh air. Titus was rude, crude, huge, fierce, and a real loner, devoted to his pack! And he was also a real panty dropper with a filthy mouth! *swoon* Unfortunately, he had a real attitude problem. Granted, he had been hurt badly and lost everything, courtesy of his former mate, but so had Sunny. And complicating the situation even further was the fact that he was a wolf shifter and Sunny was human, one who had no idea shifters even existed, even though she had a half fox shifter daughter, and mating between the two species was forbidden. But the heart wants what the heart wants, and these two hearts wanted each other. *sigh* I just adore stories where love always reigns supreme! It was so much fun watching Titus and Sunny trying to deny their feelings, but I’ll admit there were several times I wanted to smack Titus upside his hard head. (And yes, I actually see characters in my mind as I'm reading. Doesn't everyone?) Of course, we also get to reconnect with several characters from previous books (like our infamous three stooges, Declan, Laurie, and Parker), but the real thrill was the introduction of several new characters, a wolf pack of ex-military shifters who apparently are getting their own spinoff series entitled Shifter Ops! Woo-hoo! No spoilers from me, but I will say this... Lonely, silverfox wolf shifter, devoted only to duty and his pack-check! Free-spirited, older human female trying to find happiness-check! A denial that breaks two hearts-check! Danger, drama, angst, and suspense-check! Humor, sweet romance, steamy passion, and a whole lot of heart-you bet! That and a whole lot more!

Did I like this book? No, I loved it! Would I recommend it? Absolutely, and I am but only for adults. As always, it was well written and kept me riveted to my ereader well into the night, but it does contain violence, explicit language and dreamy sex, and maybe even a little spanking. After all, this is a Renee Rose and Lee Savino book. Enough said! lol... Will I read this author again? Yes! I can hardly wait for the next book. And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! And FYI, Renee Rose and Lee Savino, Declan, Laurie, and Parker need a happy ending, too! Just sayin’.... lol

Alpha's Sun is a little diddy about Foxfire Hines' mother, Sunny hooking up with Tank's dad Titus, aka "Silver."

I was pleasantly pleased that Rose and Savino included a story about a couple in their fifties in the Bad Boy Alphas series and didn't turn down the heat one iota!

Sunny's not one to put down roots, and Titus is not one to follow after a woman, so it would seem the relationship is doomed from the beginning. Except for Sonny and Titus falling in love and struggling to keep their distance. Titus lost his pack to a woman once and is not willing to do it again, so imagine his horror when he realizes Sonny, a mere human-a weird ("ditzy as hell. Like whacko airy-fairy"-Titus' words) one at that, is his mate. Titus is so far off his game he can barely complete the task Alpha Green sent him to New Mexico to do.

Titus and Sonny stumble upon a bombed-out lab where they meet the Alpha Rafe Lightfoot and his pack of sorts, aka Black Wolf Security, contractors for hire, and the shifters they rescued from the lab experiments. Titus agrees to relocate the shifters to the Tuscon or Phoenix packs, and it's time to face the music with Alpha Green.

Titus and Sonny head back to Arizona and Titus will have to choose between his mate or his pack...again!

On my Were Scale of Hotness, 3.5 stars.

Sunny Hines and Titus are so hot they’re smoking!!

A fab little read featuring a mature older couple, with was a delight to read about for a change! Titus and Sunny have a history and their kids are married to each other, so there's no real way of escaping them being together, even though they both fight the natural chemistry they have.

Both Titus and Sunny have bad histories with previous relationships and they both deal in different ways - Sunny is a runner who packs up and leaves when the going gets tough and Titus fights his attraction to the human woman as his loyalty is to his pack alone after his failed mating with a human previously.

Sunny is a quirky character, arty, a free spirit, fun loving and caring character, even who meets her loves her and she travels around making and selling things with just enough money to get by. She has a special gift and can see people's spirit animals. Titus is a wolf shifter sent on a mission by his Alpha to check out some labs that are experimenting on shifters, and bumps into Sunny by chance. Titus and his wolf are drawn to Sunny in ways he has never experienced before, even with his previous mate, but is loathe to get mixed up with a human again. Sunny get all hot and bothered whenever Titus is around but knows he is not looking for a serious relationship with her and doesn't want to risk her heart.

A fab little read, full of lust, emotions, hot sexual chemistry and suspense.

I loved this shifter romance that features a more mature couple. Titus and Sunny's romance delivered everything you could ask for from a delicious romantic read. Sweet emotions, scorching heat, humor, drama, sweetness, tension, turmoil, and tenderness are all cleverly woven throughout this well written story. If you have read other books in this series, these characters will be known to you. Particularly Book 4: Alpha's Challenge. If not, you could read this as a standalone book with no problem at all. I just loved these characters. They both had painful baggage from past hurts that really helped shape who they were. This caused both to be quite protective of their wounded hearts. Sunny was sweet and quirky. A very unique character that was still incredibly easy to relate to and connect with. Titus was one hot, dominate, silver fox of a wolf. Who knew that underneath all that gruffness was a guy that could be so sweet and funny? Sure there was a time or two when I thought he needed a good swift kick but he was still totally swoon worthy. This is a couple that will steal your your heart, raise your temperture and have you laughing out loud. A truly wonderful book! This is my sincere review that I am independently posting.

What a way to end a series with a bang. There was enough sparks between Sunny
and Titus to start a raging fire.Sunny is free spirited and larger than life while Titus
is intrigued by Sunny but she annoys him. After sex filled nights,Sunny quietly
leaves Titus while he slept.Nothing good has ever come out of any of her relationships.
Titus is on a fact finding mission when he once again runs into Sunny. They pick up
where they left off two years previously. She gets under his skin and their love hate
relationship burns up the sheets.Sunny has special gifts and can sense people's energy.
Titus makes her feel vulnerable, the pleasure he incites can't be trusted.

How i loved this story of two mature people.Titus, in my eyes for just perfect for Sunny.
Her enjoyment calmed his wolf. She was like a bubble of joy that won't stop rising.Foxfires
reaction to her mothers involvement with Titus was laughable.

This was a quick but excellent and uplifting read. The sex scenes were scorching hot and there
was a happy ending.I look forward to the next series by this dynamic writing duo

Renee Rose and Lee Savino’s “Alpha’s Sun” reintroduces us to Sunny and Titus (Foxfire’s mom and Tank’s dad) and it will bring a smile to your face. Sunny comes across as super flighty when the reality (and why) is quite the opposite. Titus has a palpable level of frustration dealing with her (yes, dealing) coupled with his growing feelings, which he shouldn’t have since she’s human. Likes: It makes me so happy when I get to read about older characters having very sexually liberating lives. Sooo, good. And Sunny is hilarious with her mixed metaphors and nickname for a particular body part of Titus’s. It’s one of those nicknames that will have you snorting out whatever liquid you’ve just taken a sip of. Their chemistry is fantastic. The story also picks up a thread of the series story arc and introduces us to some special ops guys that I really hope we see more of in the future. If you like your paranormal romances with dash of brash, touch of flighty, and a whole lot of romance, then you’ll enjoy this read.

I love this world and all the couples that are included in it. I have a hard time picking out my exact favorite, but I think that Titus and Sunny are going to be up there.

There are a lot of reasons that they are going to be up in my top faves. One of them is the fact that they are an older couple. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing romance in any form, in any age, but as a woman of a "certain age", I really like seeing a couple that is representative of me, and one that is very passionate and rather intimately active, nudge, nudge, wink wink, say no more, say no more.

I think that Titus really needed to take care of his cranio-rectal inversion sooner. He's too hung up on the past. I like Sunny and her intuition, and she really seems to know Titus way before he even knows himself.

This is a fantastic series, and I'm sad that this is going to be the last one, and I'm looking forward to the spinoffs of them.
