Our pride of lion shifters is just four. But it’s a lot for one woman to handle. From the moment she arrived on our doorstep, Jessica has had a place in our hearts. We all felt it—that instant attraction that drew her to us. Of course, we’d all heard of the rumors of the One Mate. One person who is the true mate for all members of a clan. We all suspect what’s going on behind closed doors, but when Jessica starts to get depressed, we notice. When she faces disaster, we’re all there to rescue her.
Mated to the Pride
One girl for every Bear Clan. When Ellison Harper moved into her own apartment the first thing she found out was that the new super was super hot. Not only that, but the only thing not hard about his roommates will be having to look at them. But a whole stable of ridiculously hot guys living below her soon brings some complications as the guys’ shifter secrets begin to be revealed. Now she’s got a whole new world of paranormal and paramilitary trouble to contend with. Lucky for her, Zain, Marcus, Drew, and Cole are more than able to keep her safe. After all, once this bear clan gets a first taste of their true mate there isn’t anything that will threaten their chance to get a second, or third, or fourth….
Mated to Team Shadow
I’ve never been so scared in my life. Even managing to escape somehow lands me in more danger and in a stranger place than I ever knew existed. Yacht party. Sounds good right? Nobody told me that pirates were a possibility. Nobody warned me that even my saviors could be more dangerous than my captors. But dangerous in a different way. Like, not in a life-threatening way. But, in a way that threatens my understanding of what is real or even possible. I feel a strong attraction to each of my rescuers like I never have before. I only wish I knew who I would choose if I had to. And that’s the thing, I’m not totally sure they’re expecting me to choose, or if they even want me to. After going through what I just did. Losing any of them would be more than I could live with.
Jade Alters is the author of paranormal romance novels featuring alpha males and feisty women who want a man more than they need him. She distinctly remembers stumbling upon her sister’s romance novel, Daphne du Maurier’s classic Rebecca, at a young age. Boy was she in for a surprise!
Today, after many career twists and turns, Jade spends her days writing - as long as the coffee doesn’t run out, exploring foodie destinations and making questionable decisions. She makes sure her worlds, both real and imaginary, contain a healthy dose of magic.
This collection was exactly what I was looking for to get past a bad book hangover. This was a new author for me, and there were things that impressed me and other things that disappointed me.
The Good: Each story had likable characters and a story line that contains instant fated mate love and lust. Each story also had a level of danger or suspense included in the plots. Though all were shifter reverse harem stories, each one had unique elements that make it all it's own story. There is plenty of explicit heat, hot growly, protective heroes, and fierce, independent heroines who can hold their own. I felt like the creative plots and interesting characterizations were a definite plus.
The Bad: The first two books in this box set kind of knocked my socks off. The plots had me on the edge of my seat, and I love the characters and how they came together. Book three felt a little weaker in the plot and the heroine seemed impossibly naive at times about the danger she was in. Books four and five had good stories, but were not as gripping. The first books may have contained a occasional typo, but overall that was not distracting. Books four and five, on the other hand were a hot mess. Typos, usage errors, mid-story name discrepancies were prevalent. In addition, there was a constantly shifting narrative tense, sometimes mid sentence. Also, the POV would often change unexpectedly. For example, during a section of Chase's POV in book 5, where the narrative shifts to Ridge's POV for a the last few paragraphs. Book four also had some formatting issues that did not make sense at all.
Overall, I liked the books but I felt like they fell short of their full potential. The author needs a copy editor who can clean up the mess, so her ideas are not getting lost in the chaos of poor editing and formatting.

I liked the stories despite the fact that she seemed to keep forgetting who was narrating. However, by the time I got to the last story, I'd about lost my mind. The continuity errors were ridiculous. Courtney's name had changed to Chelsea and things went downhill from there. They went back to the same cabin, not home? But all the babies were there? Don't waste your time or money until they've undergone a HUGE rewrite. Right now it looks like 4 people wrote it and they didn't read each other's work.
In the first they are brothers who all save her from her biker dad and make her their mate and its different yet good. I wasnt a huge fan of book 2 but it was still good just not my pace...and I hated they didnt understand who they was. Book 3 I loved because they knew as a pride who they were and everything to do with being a shifter... Book 4 was my favorite. Like hands down all the guys can be in my harem no shame Book 5 is a follow up of book 4 and it.kinda pissed me off at first...just read them all. Each are different
I personally felt that the story with the lions was the best one and the only one worth reading. The characters were developed enough, the sex scenes we're nicely detailed, and the whole ”one mate” was a nice twist. Outside of that, the stories need some seriously editing. There was confusion on who was narrating, and typos. Also, I couldn't even finish the last one. The female’s name was changed from Courtney to Chelsea, and this Ridge kid tries drugging the girl he wants to ”mate”... Sorry no. Instant turn off and I can't forgive that even if it's fictional. Glad I didn't pay for that.

This set is for 18+ mature audience's. And I enjoyed the plots, the drama and the love, but could someone PLEASE, PLEASE proofread!! It's in every book all over. No I didn't put notes at every place I found, to do that, I'd have not been reading anymore. These are really great reads, when you get over the issues of missed pronouns, words, and names.
Not sure if its just me or not, but the writing on this is terrible. I tried skipping ahead to the other stories, hoping they would get better, but they didn't. I really feel that I wasted my time and money on this. I thought with all the positive reviews it had, it'd be good, but it really fell short. Writing aside, theres not much to the characters, the dialogue is choppy, and not all the scenes make sense.
This was a very good group of stories put together. There were only three new stories that I hadn't already read but I loved all of them. This last story confused me at first because, Jade, you switched Courtney's name to Chelsea so I was a little lost. I just went with the flow and let it go. Really good stories. I'm hooked on your reversed harem stories especially with the shifter culture and military thrown in.
The story lines are good, and I love the varied characters of each mate in the harem, however because they are each short stories, parts of them feel rushed. Bonus note: After Protected by the pack, Claimed by the pack is held in the same world and includes the same character's, though it is following a different pack mate's story. I really enjoyed seeing glimpses of Courtney's family. It would be great if more books from that pack were brought out so we can see how everyone gets on.
Each of these books all deal with a group of men who aren't only best friends and sometimes a team that all meet their mate....one problem it's the same woman. While none want to share at first, not wanting to have to fight with their best friends, having to decide they will let her make the choice. Only one book has a team that didn't have that issue. What will these men and women decide? Will the men be able to share if that is the decision?
This is a good set for those who enjoy reverse harems with paranormal characters. The last two stories are related but the others are independent.
I liked that you got different types of situations and diverse characters. It made it more interesting to read. I also enjoyed the epilogues at the end of each which end each story on a happy note.
The writing improves from amateurish in the first book to the third, then plateaus at mediocre. This author needs a good editor who can help with more than just grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Overall, the stories entertain, but they're certainly not riveting. I had no desire to finish the final book in this collection.
I would heartily recommend these books to all readers who love great romantic reverse harem tales. Filled with beautiful women who are wooed by not one but multiple men who are also wolf shifters. Following the tales involving these women and men will invoke thoughts of love and wonder and I am sure that readers will enjoy this.
This is an enjoyable collection of shifter reverse harem stories, I am sad to say it was not as much of a thrilling read as I had hoped but I definitely enjoyed all 5 stories and I would still recommend this read
Usually a boxed set can get repetitive but not this set. Very different books, all HEA but with really unique heros and heroines and storylines. I'm definitely a Jade Alters fan now!
I loved all of different stories! There were some mistakes in the last book with name mix-ups but not a big problem! It was nice that last was tied to one of the others! Love all the hunky, sexy, built not guys!!
Most of the books in this pack were very good but because the last 1 not only had a very big typo problem in the Alpha’s name from the 4th (the name should have been Courtney instead of Chelsea) book it also was boring so I didn’t finish it.
The grammar was horrible, which made this impossible to read! There is a decent storyline, however, again, grammar issues make it impossible to follow.
