Love lost, love flourishes, sinister vengeance begins. In this first novel of the series, a bad relationship dies, giving birth to a new love between young friends. The vengeance that creates takes you through the romance/spy novel/who-done-it thriller that is Planning Vengeance. The twists and turns reveal hidden pasts, clever players and plot twists, a sinister character hell-bent on revenge and some great nostalgia for some readers. A well written, easy read that takes you on a journey that binds three families in a twisted tale of vengeance and love, and leaves you wanting more.
It's the first book I wrote. I like it just for that. It's exciting and nostalgic. It's got thrills and adventure. You should read it. Enjoy the twists.
I won’t include spoilers. Although I didn’t move to Virginia until 1982 I really enjoyed seeing names and places I grew to love as my hometown in the story. The characters were quite interesting and the story kept me reading late into the night, I just couldn’t put it down. Definitely give this series a read.
One of the seriously limiting facts of self-published books is a lack of experienced professional feedback. This author's work has decent bones but the character development and plots suffer from a lack of input in the writing process. A frustrating read. I had to keep putting it away and coming back to it to finish.
