15 chapters P&P story with a twist. Mr. Bennet collapses at the Netherfield Ball. As he recovers, Mrs. Bennet proclaims that Elizabeth will marry Mr. Collins and make everything right. Darcy exclaimed, “Good God, no!” That was all it took. The rest of the time was spent solving misunderstandings. Fixing things seemed to be the theme and It was ok. Wickham and Lydia caused trouble for Darcy to fix. Lizzy seemed young and immature and that got on my nerves. All they need to do was TALK to each other and solve their problems. Grrrr!!!
4-3-19: This was # 81 on my 2019 Challenge Tracker: there wasn't a link at that time.
I need to re-read this and see if my stars will be different.

It was nice to see get mad at Lizzie for a change. I wish during the 11 day separation Lizzie had written a note of apology and had Bingley send it to Darcy or she sent the note to her uncle and he delivered it to Darcy House. Since they were betrothed she could have sent it directly to Darcy. The
chapter seemed like forced, unlikely angst.
All in all not a bad story.
